Birdie with feces on beak
Jay D.

Unfortunately do not take well care of there birds, and ignorant to the care of some birds. I went there today and spotted an albino tiel, i let them know she had a bit of feces on her beak, and no food in her bowls, she begun eating her feces. Immediately got bad looks, side eyes, and no further kindness with customer service :(. This shop has given me issues in the past selling me a sick conure as well. I truthfully would not support here, i recommend the bird shop or parrottopia for better service on bird care :).

Crickets
Corey N.

Good location on a major street. Easy to get in. Plenty of parking. This location does not have all the animals and options of a larger store, but great for basics, including crickets for my Anole. Glad to find this in my new area. Staff was very helpful with what things were found where.

Cute Chinchilla they have for sale!

Terrible manager service, Jessica: you should take some costumer service lessons ASAP.

Zero stars for their online scheduling system for grooming appointments. Don't waste your time here.

Love the Martha products, hate that they don't sell Natural Balance for my sensitive stomach'd dog.

This location could use a few more employees. There knowledge seems to be good. There selection great. But a tad bit pricey.

After Petco stopped carrying our dog food, Castor & Pollux, we were happy to find it here. This store is clean and the service is friendly.

Alycia is great. She's so patient with us, and is so good with the dogs. Everything she has taught us has worked. Our puppy is only 5 months old but he's learned so much thanks to her techniques. It takes commitment from the owners to make it work, and Alycia is worth every penny and more. I can't recommend her enough! We've done both the private and group classes, and got a lot out of both! Hire her you won't regret it!

Hiring Alycia is hands down the best decision we could have ever made for our 6 month old Cocker…read moreSpaniel Tiffany. With only 2 sessions, Alycia has made so many drastic changes and corrections that we are absolutely convinced that she is today's Dog Whisperer! She is the most loving, kind, yet firm, professional dog trainer we could ever imagine and hope for. Our precious puppy has anxiety/separation anxiety and she tended to bark at people and other dogs (not out of aggression but) out of nervousness and excitement. She loves attention/affection but her first reaction was to bark, run around and be hyper. In minutes Alycia calmed Tiffany down and she really responded well to Alycia's commands. She taught us about boundaries and gave our puppy a boundary at the front door. Previously, Tiffany would want to run to the door and possibly run outside. After 2 tries, she mastered how to stay back even with he door wide open and with no leash on! Such an important safety lesson. Next session we went to our local pet store and also walked around outside of the strip mall. There was lots of activity, people, noises, cars, dogs, etc. I was so nervous, but to our astonishment, Tiffany did NOT bark once! Alycia taught her how to heel, make turns, and how to stay on the curb until we let her know it was ok to cross the street, We also had trouble with Tiffany pulling her leash in front of us while walking. Alycia literally taught her in a couple of minutes how to walk calmly beside us. The last lesson of the day was teaching Tiffany how to remain calm in the car. Previously, Tiffany would whimper, try and jump or walk around nervously even while being safe in her car restraint belt. I don't know how Alycia did it, but for the first time in 6 months, we had a quiet calm puppy, laying down calmly in the back seat by herself the whole ride home! One word....AMAZING! Keep in mind that all of these corrections were literally done in minutes! Our puppy has shown so much improvement and retains the information. She's becoming more confident, showing less signs of her normal anxiety and she's loving all the new things she's learning. We can't say enough about Aylcia and her style of training, loving nature and expertise! Thank you Alycia of Thinking Dogs! If anyone is looking for a dog trainer, please contact Alycia today. I promise it will be the most positive experience for you and your fur babies!

She was able to figure out a way to get through to them and help me learn how to manage two different personalities, ages (senior & an 8yr old) with one having limited abilities and the other running/jumping/hyper. Issue 1) walking them.. sadie the eight-year-old was very energetic and wanted to run or walk very fast. She tended to pull a lot. Sansa The senior, 12-year-old girl walked slowly and very close to me to where I would keep tripping over her so I needed her to learn space. Kristen admittedly said this was difficult to have two very differing dogs and one person walking both of them especially since I have physical limitations myself with struggling from fibromyalgia. She set up an appointment for us to go to A walking trail and worked with us on that, and additionally another issue Sadie was having. Issue 2) when I would take Sansa and Sadie for walks on the trails that were busy Sadie would often bark and spin in circles when a bike would ride past us. I wanted help with this behavior. Kristen was able to find a way to help subdue her reaction. Issue 3) One of the people we live with is very obnoxious and the dogs bark at him every time he enters the room. They don't do this with any other person. I asked her to come to my home to evaluate the situation. She nailed it right on the head what the problem was. She spoke with this person to give him insight into how his behavior was affecting the dogs. Her ability to get through to not only the dogs, but people as well is amazing! He actually heard her! He is a very difficult person to talk to so I was impressed! She also helped trained us to not reward them when they barked at him (which I didn't realize I was doing by letting them stay on the couch & petting them.) I thought I was calming them, but she pointed out it's rewarding what they're doing. So now I get them off the couch when they bark & treat them when they don't. This helped quite a bit. Not only is she knowledgeable but she is very upbeat and positive. She is very sweet and takes her time with you and the dogs. I highly recommend her and we would hire her again! Thanks Kristen you're the best!!

We've been bringing Frankie here for a while. Most times she comes home with an excellent cut,…read moresometimes the cut was a little crooked, however, she's very hyper and I'm sure wiggles. I had no problem with the price and work and always left a generous tip. Frankie started shaking when we showed up for recent grooming and seemed terrified to go in and especially to go behind the counter. I thought that kind of odd. The last time I picked her up the owner and groomer of Frankie began to whine and about to cry telling me what a tough time she had. She's done this before but this time it was very unprofessional. She complained that the cut we wanted was difficult and took her too much time. In the beginning if she found a problem she would call and I would tell her to go ahead and groom her anyway she needed to resolve an issue. I don't know why this was not the case. I don't know what happened to Frankie to make her dislike going to Gentle Touch and just fear it's because of the frustration the groomer projects when grooming her. Hopefully it was just that but still I fear it may have been more. Like I said the work is mostly exceptional but the way she whines about a job that frustrates her is very unprofessional. We are easy going people and it takes a lot to bother me but this certainly does. I've read other peoples reviews that stated they felt guilt after she tells them of a difficult groom. I'm paraphrasing of course. She would do well not to show her emotions to her customers. I've taken Frankie to a new salon and the two girls are so wonderful with them and show genuine love for clients pets. I won't say where I'm taking them now because that would not be appropriate in this review. I do wish Gentle Touch well and appreciated the majority of their service. I just think SHE can do better with her clients. I'm sure I'll get some long retort from this as that seems to be the case with most people with a complaint on here. Good day all.
