We brought our rescue dog here today. We weren't sure how she'd do since she's a little timid. We were greeted immediately when we came in and we gave Cheyenne a little background on our dog. This place is paw-som!!! From my interaction over the phone, to drop off/pick up; these girls are amazing. This was my first time taking our dog Leo and they did an amazing job. Drop off was scheduled at 9:30 am, I arrived at the same time as another client so I waited outside. I was very happy to see that the doggy getting dropped off first was very happy to see their groomer. I felt more at ease leaving Leo. I was greeted by the owner Kaitlyn. We went over how I wanted his hair cut and was told they will give me a call when they are close to finishing up and will advise the cost once they complete the job. I made her aware that Leo is completely blind and she stated they have worked with many blind dogs so he is in good hands. Place is located on a busy street kinda hidden so you want to approach it at a slow speed. Parking and entrance is at the rear of the building. Cute little location. Forms of payment were cash, check or venmo. I got a call around 1:30 pm letting me know he was ready for pick up. I couldn't believe how much of a stud they made him look. Oh my gosh Cheyenn was a miracle worker for my baby Juneau! I was deep in the dog groomer TikTok's and I got paranoid about my own brushing skills so I was anticipating my pup getting shaved down completely due to either bad behavior or matting. But to my joy Cheyenn said Juneau was amazing and well mannered and had zero mats!! It's not only you that likes to be pampered... I came into town and I was staying with my friend. They know I'm the dog expert and when I came in they were ashamed to show me their dog's nails. They were atrocious, they have grown into large claws and needed to be cut. One nail, in particular, was super long it was almost like he was giving us his middle finger. My friends explain they usually had gone to Petsmart to get his nails cut but the last few times they couldn't even get them done at the vet's office. Their dog Dexter had a lot of anxiety when it was nail cutting time and I don't blame him. However, they had gotten to a point where if they didn't clip his nails they were going to have serious issues. I agreed to go with them to get his nails cut. We first stopped at Petsmart but the girls were unable to get the job done and Dexter was becoming more anxious as the time went by. I found pampered pets on yelp and I called them. I asked if we can come by and they said it would be no problem. I explained that the dog is very anxious and they're going to need some kind of expert or someone very experienced to cut his nails. They explained they had a machine that helped cut down the nails versus clipping them which sometimes helps with the dogs being less anxious. The two girls were Cheyenne and Rachel. I was impressed at how they took Dexter and worked together to get his nails cut. Unfortunately Dexter was crying even before they touched him, he's quite a drama queen. However, they were able to get the job done and eventually the owner, my friend had to hold him even though he knocked down the whole nail display. Cheyenne and Rachel were patient the whole time and professional. They suggested some anxiety drops sold at the pet store when he came in or comes in next time. They also said that Dexter would probably get more comfortable after he comes to the same person regularly which I agree with. I can't think of pampered pets enough for their patience and willingness to get the job done even under extreme circumstances. These girls are experts and experienced at what they do! read more

I have been taking my French Bulldog to Pampered Paws for about 6 months and will never go anywhere else. Kaitlyn and Cheyenne go above and beyond for Gizmo. At first he was a little timid when I dropped him off, now he just prances in. That truly shows me that they provide a nice atmosphere for him. He always leaves looking and smelling amazing. First & last time here. I will not bring my pup here ever again! I did pay the $50 plus a $10 "tip". 5 HOURS later and still not done for a 13.5lb Maltipoo is ridiculous. I thought 2hrs at other groomers was long but 5hrs?? Appt at 9:30am, called at 11:30am to check on my pup- "oh he's doing great, pick up is at 1:30pm" which I thought was a long appointment. 15 min before 1:30pm I get a text that he peed all over himself and has to start all over. (After 4hrs of waiting I probably would pee on myself too!) Then sends a text that he's nervous and going to give him a break then will finish. About 2:15pm I get another text that she was brushing him for an hour and he's matted and wants to shave him down. At this point I refused and said I'm picking him up! Why did it take till 2:30pm to decide he's matted to where he needs to be shaved down? She claimed he had tons of "belly sores" "skin allergies" which was surprising to me then find out it's BS- you actually knicked him in several places- I even took him to the vet. My pup didn't get a haircut- only in his belly area, armpit and genital area. His paws & nails weren't even trimmed within the 5hrs. I couldn't even tell if he was bathed. Concerning that there are other similar reviews of staggered time due to "issues". Wish I saw it sooner. My dog came home very traumatized & stayed in a corner for the rest of the day-he didn't even want to eat. Wth did you guys do to my sweet pup! so disappointing. read more

Amazing place! I have an Alaskan malamute so already a difficult project. Cheyenne did an amazing job on my girl! She had developed some matting and her double coat was really getting thick. A few hours later and my Denali was looking fresh! No more matts, shiny and soft and smelling great. Nails and paws trimmed up and clean teeth! The price was excellent as well. This is my second place that I visit with my dog in California. The best so far. They charged me $50 for my yorkie's haircut but it worth it. The whole process took about 4 hours which is very long. Just to compare with New York, the same good quality hair cut will be processed in a 2 hours maximum. So I don't know why it's so long but it seems normal in this area. This Establishment and the people who work here are AMAZING!! I had an appointment for my English Bulldog to be groomed yesterday at 9:30AM. When I arrived, the gate was closed and locked and it didn't look like anyone was there. I thought I may have gotten the time wrong so I waited a few minutes until another car pulled up. The woman in the car was another customer with a 9:30AM appointment and said it was unlike them to not be there on time, that this was her normal appointment time. She said she has been taking her dog here for a couple of years and spoke very highly of them. After about 10 minutes of waiting, no one showed up so I headed home. At about 10:15, Cheyenne contacted me apologizing and explained to me what happened. I understand life stuff happens, but she really held herself accountable and a lot of businesses and individuals in today's day and age don't do that. So I really appreciated her reaching out to me. She told me that if I brought my dog back, she would be able to groom her for free to make it up to me, which is way more of her to offer than I felt necessary. I took my baby back to the shop, and when I walked in, we were greeted with smiles and good energy. I felt safe leaving my dog there. It was clean and organized and the groomer was really sweet. They did an amazing job grooming my baby girl. She has thick black nails and they were so long that they were starting to curve and cross over each other. I had taken her to other places before to get them cut, but no one has been able to do it. My dog is super strong and does NOT like her nails touched, but Pampered Paws were able to do it! She also smelled soooooo good. I don't know what kind of shampoo they used, but I would use it on myself! lol Overall, I think this is the best groomer I have every been to. They are super sweet, it's clear that they care about their customers, it's clean, and they don't cut corners. I will definitely be back here and I highly recommend taking your pets here! Oh my goodness!! Where do I begin?? Today was the second time that i've brought my pup, Cozy, to Pampered Paws! I don't recall the groomer who took care of Cozy the first time, but this time around it was Shelly! The first time around, I just remember the groomer saying that he did bite her a couple times and was difficult to groom. The staff was nice, and at the end of the day I did take him home and was okay with how it turned out. Two weeks later I did find a cotton ball that was in his ear that was left by that groomer. I honestly thought somehow he laid on a cotton ball in my home but we don't have any cotton balls to begin with. I did call them regarding the issue and they were very apologetic and insured that it was not going to happen again. This time, I was amazed! Whomever the woman was who greeted us at the door was very kind and friendly. My dog typically barks when there are other dogs present. This place does have their own pup roaming around and Cozy was surprisingly not barking at all. He did have a little brown accident in the waiting area, but the woman was kind enough to clean it herself even though I offered since it is my dog. Nonetheless, they took care of him for 4 hours. My boyfriend picked Cozy up and had told me that he was very well taken care of by Shelly. Cozy did not bite nor bark. He does occasionally growl if you were to make him uncomfortable in anyway. Regardless of the fact, I love how he turned out and I will make sure we return to Shelly. I believe she really gained Cozy's trust (which is very hard to do) and I will continue to keep that between them.
