Great place! We took fuzzface for a trim and wash along with her nails to be cut. Friendly staff and called to confirm i forgot to get a picture of our dog i was more interested in the French Bulldog! LOL! The price was extremely reasonable and would highly recommend! Gee you could probably get you kids washed too! LOL again! The parking was ok and in a nice area just off Bradshaw in Sacramento California USA Earth. We will take Fuzzface again when its warmer for a haircut and nails. Not sure if they would do a pedicure for her but she really didn't need one or four since she has four feet! He has a habit of snapping, growling and sometimes tries to bite, (even though he only has 3 teeth he still seems scary) BUT he seemed to like these two nice ladies. My good ole golden girl Sophie, she loves the ladies who work here. She's never traumatized when she gets home from a grooming there as opposed to other places I've taken her to in the past. I won't take my dog anywhere else. They did a full shave down but just a trim on the tail. They took care of the fur between her paw pads and they trimmed her nails very nicely. We initially took our pitbull (Sam) here and had a great experience with how friendly and tentative the staff were with her. Once we got our Frenchies (Bear & Milo) we knew we could trust Sun's Pet Salon to take good care of them, make their coat shine and have them looking good with a fresh scent! They also have very affordable prices for everything that's included. Bear has a lot of anxiety with new places, people and dogs, so we were kind of nervous to drop him off. However, the area where they groom the dogs, is also the doggy waiting area where they are caged. It made us feel so happy they would be accompanied the entire time and that Bear and Milo would be together. When we went to picked up our Frenchies, Bear was still on the grooming station getting brushed and was being so well behaved. I couldn't believe how good he was listening and how comfortable he felt there. Over all it was a great experience for the entire family and we will definitely continue going back. read more

Don't go here. I brought my dog to get groomed only because he needs his nails clipped and I can't do it myself. I ask beforehand and she said yes they will clip the nails. I come to get him two hours later pay $65 + a $5 tip Come home and notice his nails are tapping all over my wood floors still. And what do you know, the nails weren't even touched. I called and ask and she claims she forgot to tell me when I was paying. Then she says he didn't like it that's why they didn't clip his nails. Pretty sure every dog doesn't like their nails clipped. That's literally YOUR JOB. I think $65 is ridiculous considering they did the bare minimum and didn't even tell me they didn't clip his nails. 0/10 read more

I would advise you to stay away from this place. I took my 10 yr old Maltese/Yorkie dog to "Suns Pet Salon" on Lincoln Village Drive yesterday. She was traumatized. Here are pictures. Her nipple had been cut and was red and bruised. The hair around her paws was shaggy and she looked frayed, shabby and notched. The hair all over was uneven and there was a bald strip down the length of her leg. I guess you get what you pay for $45 (+ tip) vs $75 our past groomer now charges. DON'T go to this store! The owner of this saloon, Nicole Liang is a dog breeder and she falsely advertise her puppy litter of a mix of Golden Retriever and mixed Great Pyrenesses as a pure breed English Cream Retriever and sells them. My friends and I bought three puppies from her months ago and she deliberately cheated us and told us her puppies are Golden Retreiver and sends us false pictures of the puppy parent. Now the puppies have grown bigger and become less and less like Retreiver and we did a DNA test and found all three dogs are having multiple dog breed DNAs and is a major mix of Golden Retriever and mixed Great Pyrenesses. We wanted a medium size breed Retriever, but instead we got a not pure breed large dog. Everything we did to train/raise the dog now need to change because their breeds are different and their temperament and everything now are much different. We asked for explanation but she no longer responded. This is a deceptive act and she is so irresponsible of her mistakes! Also, she sold the puppies at seven weeks with violates the breeding law of selling puppies no earlier than 8 weeks. She definitely sold puppies without tax reporting as she only takes Venmo/Zelle. All these are violating laws or regulations. This salon is her own store but she actually just uses a human bath tub to give shower to puppies which is very very unprofessional. So if you don't want your dog to be served by an unprofessional and deceptive groomer, don't go to this store and support her! read more

I think I've found my new permanent dog groomer. I been to many different dog groomers all over Sacramento look for one that work best with my dogs. I looked online did some research and found Sun's Pet Salon!! I called to make an appointment for my dogs and she had a next day appointment! Before that I work while most people are still sleep. I can go on my lunch break and drop my dogs off at the shop at 7:30am with prior notice and for some work work late you can pick up you pet I believe no later than 7pm. Since she doesn't charge extra for this service always be sure to tip Sharon well! I have brought my dogs here a couple times and have been very happy with the my Yorkie's grooms. When you have an appointment she gets right to work and your dog/cat will be ready within the hour fresh and clean. Once your pet is groomed she doesn't cage them up like most groomers unless it's at your request. If she can't make it or has an emergency last minute she will call you to inform you right away. The business inside is very clean and when I say clean if a dog has an accident she gets it cleaned up and disinfected right away! I'm really happy I've found Sun's Pet Salon. I have had my Puppy Maple groomed here since she was about 12 weeks old. She is now almost 14 months. Maple absolutely loves to go there. As soon as we walk in she starts wagging her tail and trying to get into the owners arms. One of the things I Love the most is that the grooming tables are right out where you can see your dog. Also if a dog has to wait to be groomed or picked up, they are in little cages right with the two grooming stations and the other dogs so no one is lonesome. The price for all they do which includes wash, cut, style, toenail clipping, bows, or anything you ask for is so within reason I leave a good tip because I feel like I am not paying enough for the services provided. I don't want to list the price as it may depend on the type, size or temperament of your Dog. I would give more stars if I could!!! read more

My French bull dog died for heat stroke in the owner's car when she was taking him for a bath on 6/14. Although they paid for his loss I still feel that I should write this review to warn every bull dog owner. From my records, she picked up my dog around 11:20-30pm on that day, and called me that my dog was unconscious around 1pm. She told me she had the AC on and put him in the trunk, and she did not leave the car but just went to buy McDonald's. I'm not sure which part went wrong according to her explanations, but what I can be certain of is that, even with traffic it would only take about 30 mins to drive from Davis to where her store is. I strongly doubt that she left my dog unattended in the car, or the AC was not working in the trunk. Until today I still love and miss my Frenchie, I saw him lying in the hospital and he would never come back to me. I am only writing this review because I don't want this to happen to anyone else and it's just too heartbreaking to see your dog is gone. My dog just had a health exam check 2 days before he passed away, and he never had heat stroke before when I was with him. One small mistake could kill a dog, you could never imagine that bad things could happen just because of one small mistake. read more

I found Sharon online and also did a yelp search and all the reviews are excellent. What also had me wanting to bring my dogs hear is, you work you can drop you dog off in the morning St like 7:30am and pick them back up at 6:30pm. Sharon will walk your and give your fur baby a snack. I've never had to utilize this service yet as we take our pups on the weekend. Sharon will even groom your pup on Sunday's, it's by appointment only so no walk ins. Sharon is so gentle with the dogs and they love their spa day every time. Sharon is fast so you're dog will not be sitting around 2-4 hours like many other groomers. Her prices are very reasonable as well and it's very clean. I noticed she sanitizes are equipment after each dog. I recommend Sun's Pet Salon to my friends and family. Even if, you're neither I recommend Sharon. read more

FIVE STAR. I've called all over sacramento to find the best cheap groomers for my small long haired chihuahua mix baby girl and they all said $40-$50 for haircut and nail trimming except this place! She only charged me $25! Well, because my dog is so tiny and only weighs 3lbs. The other best part was she accepted our walk-in right away the day i called. I was so shocked.. plus she was super busy today and the only one grooming so much dogs i felt bad but i appreciate her for her hard work so i definitely tipped her well! They book to many Appointment at one time this keeps my dog in the kennel longer than he has to be, I've asked on more than one occasion that they schedule me earliest as possible so he doesn't have to stay in the kennel longer than he has to ,they booked us and were shorthanded so my poor dog stood in a kennel for over five hours I stopped in to see what was going on because they hardly ever answer he was still sitting in a kennel and had not been touched after talking to the owners son I decided to give them another chance, but my Dog is so scared And traumatized The last time I took him we found out that they've been Muzzling him My Little tiny dog that has never bite anyone in the 10 years. Sharon was absolutely amazing with him and let me stay next to him. Her husband was awesome with bathing and drying him and I was genuinely impressed with how they handled my dog.
