I had a very disappointing experience with Waggers. When I first called to make my appointment, I specifically explained that I have a 3-month-old puppy who has not yet received his rabies vaccine. I was told that this would not be a problem because they do not require puppies to have a rabies shot for grooming. When someone called later to confirm my appointment, I asked again to make sure. I clearly stated that this was my puppy's first grooming appointment and that he still had not received his rabies vaccine. Once again, I was assured that it was not an issue. However, when I arrived for the appointment, I was turned away because my puppy didn't have a rabies vaccination. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already made special arrangements at work, took my lunch break later than usual, and coordinated with my daughter to pick up the puppy after his appointment. If this is your policy, that's completely understandable--but I should have been told that from the beginning, especially after asking twice. Instead, I wasted my time, rearranged my day, and left feeling very disappointed. Better communication and consistency with customers would have prevented this entire situation. read more

This place has been my dog's groomer for years. My dog is very anxious and sensitive, but he loves the staff here so much that he gives his groomer Nicole a kiss every time he comes over! Making an appointment is very easy, the gal at the front is easy to communicate with, and I love the feeling when I leave my dog, knowing he is in good hands. My dog, Cooper, always gets spoiled with lots of treats and swag by Waggers. I wouldn't trust any other groomer except Waggers! read more

Kayla groomed my Pomeranian puppy who is 7 1/2 months old. She knew how to handle him through play. I have been going here for the past year and I am not sure why I did not start sooner. The last 5 grooming sessions my dog had were from here and the experience is always the same even with different groomers taking my dog in. The Groomers are very professional, considerate, and have always left me feeling like a cared for customer. My dog Tofu always looks so good whenever we come for the grooming service. They normally always do a good job and very patient with my dog. Super bummed they didn't clip his nails cause that's honestly what I bring him in and pay for, and he's still shedding/ a ton of loose hair, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Extra star cause they gave him a bandana. read more

Deidre is the most caring and knowledgeable when it comes to my pups! Kira also is amazing; she took care of my Pomeranian Matteo with his hair cut, blow out, nails and de-matting him after another groomer ruined his hair by shaving down too close. Deirdre takes the time to get to know each customer and their pet, and she goes above and beyond when you have any questions. Also, Nicole does a fabulous job of grooming our dog. It really says something when she's able to pick up our dog, and the dog doesn't growl. Chin Chin has a history of trauma. Nicole (groomer) compassionately held him and took her time establishing a relationship with him to put him at ease before his treatment. She gave me a phone update as to how he behaved during the process. Going in he was trembling and whimpering. When I received him he was his usual confident self, only camera ready! I go and have my two Chihuahuas bathed and groomed here. They are so loving with my dogs that sometimes are not the friendliest. But the dogs love it here. They must feel that dogs are loved here. They are very reasonable too. $90 for both my dogs to get bathed nails clipped and anal glands expressed. I plan to bring them back to try the teeth cleaning where they don't put them to sleep. The staff at Wagger's are wonderful. I have two small, anxious dogs and the staff are so patient and kind. The wash and cut always looks amazing! Highly recommend. Book your dog's appointment in advance because they're pretty popular and will likely have a wait of a few weeks out. Because my dogs are frightened, I took them to Wagger's a few times before their appointment to walk them around the store and get them familiar with things. They're still anxious but we were welcomed by the staff each time. In fact, they said they encourage pre-appointment visits. 5+ stars!
