They have management issues there is a culture of laziness and lying. We were told they have a product that is on a pallet the manager went back and got one refused to get more. My wife went back two days later they said they were out of that product. They didn't inventory and stock their product within three days, I recommend petsmart hire a consultant to teach your managers to manage or fire them. I've been going to this store for 5 years now. People are very friendly however could be better educated as to the different brands. One thing I do like is that PetSmart guarantees your pet will eat the food, otherwise bring it back for a complete refund or store credit. This store deserves 5 stars for certain things and 1-2 for others. I'll start with the GOOD things: 5 Stars for the associates greeting you as you walk in, overall cleanliness of the store, patient with you as you ask a million questions over product(s), stocked shelves, unkept bathrooms, etc... They also get 5 stars for helping with the adoption process with the cats and small critters. In fact, I adopted a cat from here and they were very helpful with the paper work as well as guiding me to the items I needed & free food that came with her. However- the 2 stars (if it wasn't for the 5 stars listed above, I would only give them 1 star) come in now. I've seen the same dead corn snake sit in it's tank for over 2 days. The cats more times than not have nasty litter boxes, bedding COVERED in their own hair, low water that's cloudy & gross looking. As I mentioned above, they greet you as you enter the store & assist you if needed, but what I don't understand is if you have time to stand in a group of 3 and chit chat in the entrance way...why don't you have time to clean the cat cages and possibly even give them attention? I watched a lady with 2 big dogs allow her dog to jump up in the cats windows and terrorize them as employees stood around chatting. The rules should be a little more strict about out of control dogs and ill-behaved children terrorizing the caged animals. Like I said, I have adopted a cat from here and appreciated how simple the process was, how low the cost is and how well the associate directed me through the adoption. But I honestly do not think the cats get enough attention or cleaning done for them to help reduce their stress. My husband and I will not be returning for grooming services. Twice, my appointment wasn't properly booked. I'd walk in only to be told I wasn't on the books for grooming. That's disappointing especially when they seem upset they have to fit you in to their busy schedule. Once, they booked me for the wrong services. As I was on the phone with the receptionist, I repeated exactly what I wanted but when I show up to drop my dog off, they had me down for some other grooming services entirely. And for my last visit, they had lost all my paperwork and wouldn't take my dog for his appointment until I brought in all the paperwork again. So I had to run back home and get it --- a double trip! My dog had updated tags but they still would only accept paperwork. Lastly, we brought in both of our dogs just to get their nails clipped (or rather my husband brought them in.) Since I wasn't there, they talked him into a whole other grooming package that was much more expensive, and he took it. :-/ However, when I saw the dogs later that night, one of them didn't even have the nails trimmed at all. We had to bring the dog back in the next day to have them done. They were very nice about fitting us in the next day. During that time, we actually heard and employee at the front computer say "oops I deleted an appointment." So I'm guessing this happens a lot. I will say Brandi has groomed my dogs on mult occasions. So if you do plan on going here, please ask for her. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. If you love your fur baby at all, do NOT bring them here. I came to pick up my dog and he was completely shaved! I asked why that was done without my consent and I was told my dog had too many tangles. (I brush him every day because he likes it) there's literally NO WAY my dog had tangles that were that bad. Even though I was so upset, I still went to the register to pay. They told me my total was $130. Never in my life have I paid over $100 for my dog to get a bath and haircut all 12 years I've owned him. They proceeded to tell me they charged me for every minute or so that they had to untangle and brush my dogs hair. EVEN THO THEY HAD CUT IT ALL OFF. I refused to pay. I took my dog and cussed everyone out in the process. I'm never the type to complain but this place is terrible. Everyone deserves to be fired. Including management. This review is specific to the grooming department. One of our dogs came back from a groomer (not petsmart) last year with a torn ACL that required surgery. Since then, I have scissor cut my Yorkie. Unfortunately he is probably going to need another surgery, so I took him in to speak with the staff about whether or not they could groom him, even though he can only minimally bear weight on his leg. I was looking for a groomer that was well experienced and that would be patient but speedy. I told her I didn't even care if it looked good, just needed a shave. She hooked me up with CAYLA on this Wednesday evening. She was very kind, gentle, and speedy, and his cut is fantastic! My heartfelt thanks to her. We have experienced a tough grooming road, and she really doesn't know how much she helped us. Hope to be able to bring our other Yorkie in to her! Highly recommend. I have puppy that was getting groomed for the first time and I wanted to stay so he wouldn't stress out too much and everyone kept discouraging me from staying with my dog by telling me it would be four hours for my three pound dog to get trimmed. Tamara's attitude sucks but Deana politely explained that they work on multiple dogs at the same time and that on Saturdays they're too busy to trim a dog in under 4 hours. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have taken my dog here several times and have never had this issue. My dog is a 7 month old puppy and is very friendly. I went in an hour before closing as a walk-in to have my puppy's nails clipped. I was told that they needed to test him to see if he would bite. This was not done the previous times or at any other PetSmart I have visited. I said ok wondering if it was something new. The lady proceeded in front of my puppy and repeated lifted her hand in a slapping motion towards his face and he reacted by jumping. She then said we can't take him cause he's aggressive. I told her it was because he was just reacting to her scare him and she told me he reacted because I probably abuse him. I don't abuse my dog but I bet if someone lifted a hand at her in a swiping motion she would jump too. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager and she said they were gone already cause it was the end of the day. I walked out and as I did I looked back and she was laughing. At the register I asked for a manager and they said I would get a call the next day and I did not. I would never go back to this location or recommend. read more

I most definitely will not be back to this location. My dog has been left in a cage for 2 - 4 hours not once, not twice, but three times by either Banfield or the Grooming Salon because someone forgot to call me. The most recent time was today because Liz did not confirm my contact number and instead called my boyfriend's number instead of mine. As he works night and was sleeping, he wasn't about to answer that call. After two hours of me not coming to pick my dog up, she failed to rub two brain cells together and call the other number, which is my number, the main number on the account AND the phone number that is listed in their appointment book to check why I had not picked up my dog. Really? Not only that, why does a 5 lb Chihuahua take 2 hours and 15 minutes to bathe and grind nails? When I lived in Ohio, I never waited longer than an hour and they were packed. I walked in this morning and they had three dogs. I've also picked up my dog with sores and cuts to her legs and paws during the nail grinding. Just horrendous service. read more

2 stars. Their saving grace is their trainer. Sarah did a great job working with our group. If I could I would give "her" more stars but the review is our overall experience. For the two years we've had our dog we've taken him to PetSmart and well it's been doing down hill. Mind you we have taken him to go play and to go for a long walk and even let him swim, still here's his experience: The last 3 times we came Mal would sit and not budge. He'll even yank out of his collar and try to run out the door. It's taken at least 3 people to try to get him to move, one to verbally encourage, one to pull and one to push his bottom to move. He has been verbal, eyes bulge and turn red, he stresses out. I don't know what he's endured the last 3 times and they always say he's had an ok time. He's been muzzled there and maybe that's why..Then when we pick him up he's full of loose fur on his back from being stressed out. We get him home and we then brush him at home ( what's the point of taking him to the groomers?) and get a huge pile of fur from a brush out. We've spent so much money for not a lot and a stressed out dog who can't wait to be taken home. Would love to know what you guys did to the dog.... Oh, and yeah we always hear a lot of barking and see dogs on the groomer's table looking a bit scared. read more

GROOMING SALON: I love PetSmart and enjoy their prices so I will always return there. HOWEVER, I can not say the same for the grooming salon. Occasionally instead of giving my dachshund a bath/nail trim on my own I will take him to petsmart. In the past they had made my dog bleed (without letting me know, I found out in my car), they have been rude, they lose his info in the system every single time and they give me back by dog smelling like urine. For whatever reason I continued on occasion to bring him back but that ended today when I went in for a nail trim and the girl doing this for me was openly talking about how she can't wait for her two weeks to be up. As a dog owner, that is just not something I want to hear when I get a service from them but I just said "oh well" and browsed the store. I was told to go pay while I waited so, I did. When they called me in to get him, she informed me that two of his nails did not get cut because he was jumping around and trying to bite. I was annoyed but figured I could do it myself and asked which nails needed to be cut. She was on the phone and proceeded to say "uhhhh" and never answered me. I went home and cut his nails myself....oh and they didn't cut more than two. I understand that people do not want to deal with aggressive dogs however, my little 16 pound, 6 year old weenie dog is far from aggressive. I have been there over 50 times to get nail trims and have NEVER had a problem until today (on my end at least). I will not be returning. I did not get a refund (nor did I ask for one) but I did inform the manager. read more

I recommend not leaving your dog alone in the salon for any reason. I brought my pup in to have her nails clipped. when I walk into the salon, I witnessed a terrified and tiny little puppy Bleeding from its ear. The woman who had just groomed her/him was shoving her fingers into the bleeding ear and pulling wads of hair out. I don't even know how its possible to have gotten so much fur inside the dogs ear. I don't write reviews ever, but this was not cool. The dog was screaming because it's ear was hurting, bleeding, bent backwards and she was pushing on its head really hard to get deeper in to pull more hair out. She seemed like she was having a hard day but I won't risk that with my dog. The actual store has always been a good welcoming place. I just will not be taking my pup to its salon again. read more

I walk in here to get their nails clipped before I, sadly, jave to rehome them, amd the RUDE girls at the counter said I was wasting my time and the couldnt clip them without a print out from the vet. I have always found this the best local pet store near me. It carries a wide variety of fish and birds, and is really good for dog food. My dog gets trimmed here for summer, and they always do a good job on her. Her fur is evenly cut and smooth, and she struts out like she's a queen. read more

i hecking hate petsmart grooming salon. i am NEVER taking my pooch to get groomed there EVER again. i had an appointment for my pooch there and when i went to check her in... guess what? THEY HECKING LOST HER APPOINTMENT! and let me tell you something i had confirmed the appointment like 3 times already because they had called (i have screenshots) to confirm and i was like "yeah i am taking my precious pooch there." anyways when i arrived on the day of the appointment they were like "ummmm i can't find the appointment." and i was like "WTF!?" and then they asked me for my phone number and i gave it to them and they said "your phone number isn't in our systems" and i was FUMING because every time i get her groomed there and i KNOW my phone number is registered because i have my pooch registered with them with my phone number. i called up the manager and they were like "oh im so sorry" but i highly doubt that they were. and may i add that i do NOT live ANYWHERE close to that hell of a place. waste of my time! read more
