Boy, I sure wish I had looked at these reviews before using Petrolino. They handled a move for me from Silver Spring, MD to Alameda, CA. My original binding estimate was $3,435. After the furniture had already been loaded, I was told it took up more space than estimated and the price was increased to $5,198. I signed the revised paperwork because the practical alternative at that point was to unload everything and start over with another mover. The bigger problem was the delay. The furniture was picked up on July 28 and not delivered until almost two months later! Communication throughout was extremely poor: emails went unanswered, calls were not returned, and I usually got information only when I happened to reach someone by phone. The furniture was eventually delivered, but based on the substantial price increase, long delay, and lack of communication, I would never recommend Petrolino Moves. read more

I very much wish I could give this a negative 5, Our experience with Petrolino Moves was one of the worst service experiences we've ever had. After delivery, we discovered a significant number of valuable items were missing. These included heirloom jewelry, luxury watches, computer accessories, electronics, power tools, drones, vehicle key fobs, personal documents, and numerous household items. The estimated value of the missing property is substantial. Even more concerning was the condition of many of the boxes upon arrival. Several boxes contained items that clearly belonged to another household, including clothing, household items, and other personal belongings that had never been in our home. We also found strong indications that boxes had been opened and repacked during the move. One box that originally contained our Meta Quest headset and Nintendo Switch accessories instead contained Tupperware lids that we know had been packed in a different storage container. My wife's files were also found redistributed into unrelated boxes. Our 85-inch television was removed from its original packaging by the movers, repacked, and delivered with a cracked screen. We immediately contacted the company and documented everything with photographs. We are still seeking an explanation and an appropriate resolution. I didn't book them but my roommate did. Worst experience ever! They were a day late to load, and then didn't deliver our stuff on time as promised. It took them a month to deliver everything. And that was after repeated calls to the company that went unanswered. When we started unpacking we discovered missing documents and files. Jewelry and electronics are missing, and it is pretty evident our stuff was rifled through as items were in boxes that we didn't place them in. I found personal items that did not belong to us in a file cabinet, and the other file cabinet that had legal documents is now missing. I think we may need to file a police report for theft at this point. If I could give them a -0, I would. read more

Sadly cannot go below 1 star. Not even a real moving company. They are middle-men and scammers that hire other brokers to do all the work, take no accountability for the mistakes, and constantly upcharge you with hidden fees. If you are religious and want to experience what an eternal life of suffering may look like, I would recommend hiring this company to get a taste of what that looks like. If you want to experience being homeless, use this company. When they pack your stuff up they will just randomly deliver it way past the expected date, so you will need to live without your clothes, furniture, and sleep in an empty apartment for days unless you want to spend your own money on a hotel since they will not compensate it or care in the slightest. I know 100% that when their own employees move, they hire other movers because they know how terrible their own company is. They missed every date I gave them. Would go days without contacting me or answering their phone. And not only misplaced my items but delivered me someone else's items and asked if I wanted to keep it. Imagine your items get misplaced, they claim they "cannot locate them" but the whole time they just gave them to someone else for free. There is no chance that their employees are satisfied working for such a sketchy company. I would rather deliver my things by mule train than hire this company. Save yourself the pain and look elsewhere, it cannot get worse, trust me. The contract is full of nonsense that gives them an excuse to hang you out to dry. Worst moving company on the planet! They gave an estimate for 7,000 dollars for moving from Hawaii to Montana. Everythingis pack and ready to go for them for a noon pickup. They finally arrived 7 HOURS LATE! . When they arrived they immediately informed us that the price of the move was going up to 14,000 dollars because they supposedly misquoted us. Are you kidding me?? They don't return calls to include ones from the emergency line they have listed, nor are they open the hours that they say they are. Contracted through Petrolino Moves (Dave Johnson). It's a bait & switch all the way through. Starts with a ridiculously low bid in the beginning. (Should've been my sign). 1/2 up front deposit. We have this scheduled for months. Week before move New contract Alex (later find out there are about 5 Alexs) we discuss new inventory list. He tells me price is going up about 3000 more (I expected this, initial bid was way too low). But this time increased deposit had to be wire transfer. (Should've been my 2nd sign) Day of move, rented moving truck shows up and 3 gangster stooges (2 literally fall out of truck) keep in mind, I actually liked these guys but they are not who you want to trust with your house. They were late, looked hung over and were legit high as kites on arrival. They spent 3 & 1/2 hours in my driveway. Foreman spent 30 minutes with my husband doing inventory. The other 3 hours was spent sitting, visiting with me and at least 3 alterations amongst themselves (2 physical, 1 very physical). Finally, after 3.5 hrs in my driveway a new estimate was sent to my email from a company I never heard of "Rapid Relo" the new bid was 4x that of original bid & 3x the second. I said, NO. I try to contact both contacts that set up the job. Neither are contactable (in fairness, guy from Petrolino in 3 hrs later). I am contacted through Foreman phone by receptionist at office trying to "in her most official voice" inform me of the penalty of loosing my deposit if I don't go through with the job. I inform her that loosing $3800 is better than loosing $31,000 & my house for a job that I did not agree to. She tries to tell me that the inventory is 3x what was expected. (One of the 2 helper tell me that it was the smallest load they had handled the last 2 weeks). Keep in mind: (other than 3 smaller pieces of furniture) there was no packing, no stairs, everything was removed from house ready to load from garage to trailer. My husband could do it by himself 2 hrs max. (There was 3 of them & nothing done in 3.5 hrs) Their boss (The owner/another Alex) calls me, again on formans phone. He tries to verbally stong arm me into go forth with new estimate and informs me that if I don't the deposit is forfeit for the work already done. (30 mins inventory) I was robbed $3800. read more

They are not a small family owned company as they claim. They are brokers. Once the truck was packed, the price went from $11,000 to $23,000. It took 2 months for our stuff to get from NC to Hawaii. It was picked up and delivered in UHaul trucks, with brokered workers. We luckily received our stuff, but most of the boxes are damaged and some broken open with stuff missing. I am just thankful we received it as I was sure it was gone. Dave, Alex and Olena were definite thieves. Go with a bigger company that has a presence. Movers showed up 3 days late. 2 guys in a 26 foot U-haul. Upon arrival the driver walked through the house taking pictures. He called the dispatcher and said it's not going to fit. Dispatcher said don't do anything until he signs a new contract. $33,000. Could not get David by phone or text. Called Petrolina and spoke with Alex who said the price would likely come down as they quoted the new price as a worst case scenario. After everything was loaded the price went to $42,000. It's been over a month and still no response from David. Still won't answer my messages. It was not even Petrolina who showed up to move us. They subbed it out to Rapid Relocations Inc. Today is 5/27, the day I should receive my belongings as I was told. The window for delivery is 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and I have yet to hear from the driver nor from u s relocations, the "broker". So, I called to get an update and wouldn't you know the person I needed to speak with is no available for another two hours and I still can't get any update. This is about the sorriest communication experience I have had in my 71 years of existence. If I have to ever deal with this type of experience again, I will call it quits lol. This is lengthy but if you are considering this company, I highly recommend you take the time to read it because it will save you a lot of money and time. Our experience with Petrolino Moves was absolutely horrendous. This was worth zero stars but yelp requires at least 1 star to proceed with the review. I am a U.S. military service member deployed to Europe and attempted to perform best due diligence possible before selecting this company. I spoke to Marion, the front office salesperson, to set up the order and he appeared very professional but none of the expectations he set were true. I explained that I was coming home on temporary military leave to help my son move from his apartment in North Carolina to return to Dallas after graduating from Wake Forest. I explained that I only had a short time to be home with family and he assured me that the job would be done to a high standard and delivered within a fair time range usually from 5 - 10 days. He said that he has been in the business over 20 years and that he would be my service representative throughout the process. We agreed that they would pick up my son's furniture on the morning of June 5th so that we could clear the apartment and get on the road to get back to Dallas. But when I didn't hear from anyone by mid day, I called Marion and explained that no one had contacted me. He said the driver would contact me within a couple of hours but no one contacted me until late in the evening and when the driver arrived, he was alone and unprepared to do the job efficiently. He did not arrive in a Petrolino branded truck. He arrived in a U Haul and said all the Petrolino trucks were being used. My son was on the 2nd floor which they were fully aware of, and the driver wanted to add several hundred dollars in extra fees for walking an extremely short distance from the truck to the apartment to carry boxes of his belongings. Additional fees were also added for going up a short flight of stairs. This is basic work you expect a moving company to perform and not charge extra for. Marion advised me to be cautious of other companies that hit you with exorbitant upcharges on the day of pick up and delivery. This company did exactly what Marion said to guard against. This business is absolutely a sham because once you remit your payment to book the company, Marion indicated he was no longer responsible for the process and that everything was moved to the dispatch department who was led by a man named Alex who demonstrated no care or concern. Alex said everything was the responsibility of the delivery driver and the delivery driver said he didn't have any control. No one at this company accepts accountability; rather, accountability is repeatedly passed from one person to the next. To make matters worse, It took 18 days rather than 7 - 10 days to deliver our furniture and many items were broken, dirty, and mishandled. They did not care at all about the condition of our property because we didn't purchase the additional coverage for damage because Marion was convincing that they did quality work and we didn't need to worry about broken items. The final delivery driver also tacked on additional expenses for using an elevator at the storage facility. This is an elevator that actually helped them, but the contract does have fine print about elevators and stairs. This is another glaringly fraudulent aspect of this crooked business scheme. This was a terrible service experience; after all the excessive charges were applied, it costed double what we were quoted. Also, there was zero communication from the company after we made initial payment. I had to constantly call and text for updates and never received timely updates or accurate information. Marion seemed trustworthy, but this company is very deceiving. Also, a man named Abraham was involved and provided so much false information. They operate within a system of lies and deceit and I advise no one to use this company for any moving services. Furthermore, they force you to pay with Zelle/Cashapp/ other non bank platforms and credit cards are unauthorized. I called to get a price to pack & move because I only had 30 days to vacate my home. They are a bait & switch mover!! they gave me a price of $7,800 for the move & needed $3,451.00 up front which was approx half & they claimed they were not a Broker. the price was NOT firm & binding. The contract on my property fell through & I called & they refused to give me my money back. They said they would keep it a year to use on my move. This was an incredibly stressful and unsatisfactory experience. When I booked the move I told them I had a 2 bedroom apt with a 15X15 storage unit - filled with pre boxed items. The furniture on the order form looked fine and it said up to 50 moving boxes various sizes but when the crew - mostly 1 guy got there he said the cubic feet was not accurate and told me to pay almost double the price to move it all. The sales guy puts that # in so I trusted whatever he put in. In the end the furniture was moved but Not 1 box! The truck was ordered for me and no other pickups 3/4 of truck was empty but they wouldn't move anything.... I paid for 50 boxes to be moved but that didn't happen! I have to now figure out how to move the rest of my stuff and pay someone else all over again! I told them I thought they were scamming me and I didn't want to go further but they said they would keep $1400 deposit so I felt cornered to do whatever they said. Then at delivery they got confused - threatened to not deliver and when I told the guy on phone I thought this entire company was a scam and my move was inaccurate- he told me he was red flagging Me for being a scammer and I had to pay $755 cash right now for what I had Already paid or he would take my furniture. The Only saving grace of the whole move was the 1 guy mover - Mike I think - who kept his cool and tried to appease the situation. Mike is the reason for the 2 star otherwise 0. We used them to move across county, and had signed an agreement for .60/lb for damage. Two items arrived broken, and we were directed to use a third party insurance adjuster. After almost 8 months, the insurance adjuster informed us that Petrolino was refusing to pay. I've attempted to reach out multiple times, with no call back. Furthermore, they mixed our stuff in with three other deliveries, so as they unpacked our items from the truck, we kept finding other people's items in our garage. They could not find one of our items, and the driver (not a Petrolino employee) said he'd ensure he'd get it to us if/when it was unloaded in Arizona or San Diego (his next two stops); fortunately he called the next day saying he found it and returned it. I moved over a dozen times with the military, and this is by far the worst experience I've had with a moving company. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Petrolino Moving and would not recommend them. Moving is already stressful, especially when relocating over 15 hours away, but the lack of communication and professionalism from this company made the process significantly more difficult than it needed to be. From the beginning, the sales process felt very typical of high-pressure moving companies. I was pressured to make a decision on the spot by being offered a "discount" if I signed during that phone call. This created a sense of urgency to commit before having time to fully think things through. I was drawn in with assurances that later turned out to be inaccurate or incomplete, and throughout the process I received conflicting or unclear information that made it hard to know what to expect. I was told by Alex that my driver would deliver my belongings on a specific day and that I would receive a call the day prior to coordinate the delivery. That call never came. Because of this, I had to call the main office number myself to try to get an update. Alex told me to give it some time and said to call back if I still didn't receive a call. I ended up calling Alex three separate times during operational hours, and none of those calls were answered. Another major issue was learning on the day of pickup that my "guaranteed" delivery timeline was not actually possible. While I understood that expedited delivery would cost an additional $1,200, the real issue was being told this at the last minute--when all of my belongings were already packed and ready to be loaded. At that point, I felt like I had no real option but to move forward. When I expressed concern about not having access to important items, one of the representatives responded by saying, "That's why we tell you to pack important items separately." This came across as extremely dismissive and rude. Not only had I never been told that beforehand, but the comment shifted the blame onto me for something the company failed to communicate. When a customer is already in a stressful situation and simply asking for clarification, responding in a way that implies it was their fault for not knowing something they were never told is unprofessional and frustrating. To be clear, the crew that physically moved my belongings was very kind and professional, and I truly appreciate the work they did. My concerns are not with them, but with the way the company is managed and how communication with customers is handled. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful. Worst experience of my life. They lied from the beginning until the end. They don't have their own trucks like they advertise. Came to pick up my 3 bedroom 3 level home plus a 10x15 storage unit in a rented Enterprise truck that was only able to pack 2/3 of our home. We had to rent another Penske truck to clean out our home. And refused to pick up the storage items with them getting another truck. The cost went up $1200.00 from the estimate. All this time Laura who booked me was nowhere to be found during this process. And when we finally got to NC, ALL our furniture was damaged. DO NOT believe them when they tell you they are carrier. Worst experience. Please BEWARE of their kindness from a booking perspective. Petrino Moves stated that they own the trucks and the people that drive the trucks and pack your items are all employed by them. This is on true I contracted with them paid 1/3 of the contract price on the scheduled day of my move, RIGOS DELIVERY AND MOVING SERVICES showed up. The driver along with two helpers packed my items I could tell that they were packing in a way that would create much more cubic feet than my quoted original contract. They took my clothing items out of dressers, etc., and box them not once did Petrino Moves call me or communicate while my items were packed and in a warehouse for days I continued to contact Petrina Moves asking when my items would arrive at my new address they continually told me that they would have to contact their dispatcher which was never available. I was then given days later, the dispatchers name and number when I called her she said my items would be delivered anywhere between seven and 14 days from that already five days after packing and shipping to a warehouse. I will also add that the Packers claimed I had a large amount of extra cubic feet added to my move, which cost me over $2500 more. I continued to contact the dispatcher concerning my delivery date. When my items finally arrived Across America Van Lines arrived with my items. (a third ) I was immediately informed that I had to pay cash, Zelle or money order before they would remove any of my items from the truck . None of which was communicated to me from Petrino Moves. Again, I want to state Petrino Moves did not communicate with me throughout this entire process. I continually had to contact them. I have not heard from Petrino Moves. Regarding this move. Horrible company! Tired of their lies! We moved from Alaska to Arizona and paid in full up front. We were told that our belongings would arrive within 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 2 months with no ETA. They state that they do not have any other orders to add to the to fill the semi. Not our problem! They shouldn't have taken our order if they couldn't keep their stated delivery time. We've had to buy a bed, dishes, clothes etc because we do not have our furniture or personal belongings. DO NOT DO IT!!!! All the reviews are correct. They will give you a "worst case scenario" estimate and then when the movers get to your place, they will tell you, "oh this is way more than we thought! Pay $2500 more or we will not move your stuff." They expect you to pay despite their employee messing up the estimate. Reading the other reviews it looks like this happens all the time. Once they get your money, they will be completely unresponsive and ignore all calls and emails. They magically "lost" my expensive Sonos speakers at the "warehouse" that I watched being loaded on the truck and they basically tell you "tough luck". My experience has been with Jannah and Alex and Jannah completely disappeared after getting my money. Alex does not respond either and does not care whatsoever. This place WILL scam you. The worst moving experience of my life. They were great and responsive until the timeframe passed to get the deposit refunded. After that it was unreturned calls and emails from David. Then Alex took over While still executing documents under David's name. He's an absolute liar and a snake. They intentionally underestimate your inventory and then upcharge you the day of the move. My attorney says this is a classic scam. They listed items in my inventory that I don't even own, and other items that were not moved. They then classified items that were in the original inventory as "additional items". I was taken for 12 grand over the "binging estimate" they claim it was "additional inventory", it was not. They refuse to provide the call recordings reviewing the inventory, refuse to itemize what constitutes "additional" items, and are currently holding my household goods hostage unless I pay.They are refusing to provide the address where my property is located preventing me from having them served with a replevin order to take possession. They are BROKERS and will assign your load to a third party (Rapidrelo Inc) who is equally as dishonest and shady. I have so many more details but not enough space to write them. To: Petrolino Moves LLC; Safe Ship Moving: This letter serves as a formal complaint for damages resulting from severe negligence, breach of contract, and willful mishandling of my personal property by Petrolino Moves, LLC. These actions occurred while my belongings were in Petrolino Moves possession following my move-date and occurred between May 26, 2025-July 8, 2025. On May 26, 2025, Petrolino Moves LLC picked up my personal property. My contract through Safe Ship Moving Services began my nightmare experience. Safe Ship explicitly stated that my belongings would be cared for by "antique moving specialists," "stored in a climate-controlled facility" and "delivered by June 26, 2025," as I opted for one month of storage. I was also told by Safe Ship that it would only take "two days" for me to arrange delivery of my personal belongings at a time convenient for myself. In addition, I was given a low-ball offer and 3 days before my move, QC called and stated that Nathan, the original sales personnel, was inexperienced and they needed to increase my fee, which almost doubled the original estimate. Nothing that I was told was true! Moreover, this agreement was willfully breached by Petrolino Moves LLC. Instead of receiving my property by the contracted date, it was not delivered until July 8, 2025. During the period between June 14 and July 8, the company made and subsequently failed to show up for four scheduled delivery attempts over a three-week period, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss. When pressed, I was told by one of the drivers that "they did not have enough trucks to fulfill their delivery jobs." It is also obvious that my belongings were wrapped and unwrapped multiple times while in their possession because of the extensive damage and scuffs. Upon delivery, it was immediately clear that my personal property had been subjected to extreme and willful negligence--damage that well exceeds poor service. The condition of my personal property was inspected and confirmed by a damage estimator, whose report I will be submitting with this complaint. The estimator stated that the damage revealed storage in a wet, humid environment, as evidenced by swollen and discolored wood on my furniture and severe breakages due to what the estimator and myself believes to be storage in an outdoor environment. A strong chemical-like smell and the presence/smell of mildew coming from my boxes and fabric items kept me from being able to inhabit my new home for 3 weeks. Specific damages include, but are not limited to, the following: * Water and Mold Damage: All my boxes and furniture show signs of severe water damage, with visible mold and mildew growing on many items, including my artwork. The smell from the once soaked boxes was so strong that it made me physically ill and rendered my new home uninhabitable for three weeks due to the health hazard it posed. My wardrobe boxes, which were confirmed to have been stored outside, had been saturated. My artwork, clothes and furniture must now undergo specialized chemical treatment to prevent the spread of mold. My oriental and area rugs need special cleaning as they too were stored outside in the elements. When unrolling them, bits of leaves, berries, pine needles and twig pieces fell out. There are areas of mud on the rugs as well. * Rodents nesting in boxes: Please see pictures of rodent nest in boxes. * Structural Damage to Furniture and Appliances: My sofa was left standing in water, is stained with grease, and has been crushed. A large hole and cavity with missing stuffing was found in one of its arms, suggesting deliberate and nefarious mishandling. The skirt has definite water marks, and the sofa bed portion is no longer functional. Five antique pieces of furniture were severely broken, including an irreparable vintage library table that was snapped in half and a desk that was delivered in multiple pieces, a settee with an arm broken completely off, a severely scuffed coffee table, and an antique game table damaged where the drawer will no longer open. The control panel on my washer was also almost completely broken off and my vacuum is no longer operational and is missing attachments. * Damage to Contents and Theft: A sharp, pronged object pierced multiple boxes, breaking numerous dishes, cups, and antique serving platters. Furthermore, the packing crew entered my personal belongings and stole $300 in emergency cash. This theft constitutes a criminal act. In addition, I am missing multiple boxes: a custom lamp shade, a box of craft supplies, a laundry room box, and two boxes from the primary bedroom. *Forced to pay for tow truck and shuttle: Dwight the delivery driver misjudged a small incline getting his truck stuck. They would not offload my personal property until I paid for the delivery and tow/shuttle-costing and additional, unexpected $1500 for which he would not give a receipt. I cannot express enough how deeply dissatisfied I am with Petrolino Moves. The experience from start to finish has been nothing short of a nightmare. First, they assured me over the phone that if I paid $70 per TV to have the movers pack them, they would be covered if damaged during the move. This was a blatant lie. Not only did they fail to properly handle my belongings, but they also sent the wrong truck on a cross-country journey. Someone else's things were driven from Maryland to Washington state, only for me to be told there was nothing that could be done about the wrong shipment and delay after I had already been waiting two weeks and had taken time off of work to accept the delivery. When I finally managed to get in touch with a representative, they promised a $500 discount off the delivery fee. However, when I spoke to the manager, she completely disregarded this offer, telling me that we "didn't deserve" any reduction in our bill, and that if the issue were escalated to her, no compensation would have been offered. Meanwhile, we were stuck on the other side of the country, living without our belongings, sleeping on an air mattress, and eating out every night because of their incompetence. It only gets worse. They insisted that our items had been delivered, and refused to believe me when I explained that my belongings were still missing -- until I mentioned I had an Apple AirTag in one of my boxes. That's when they reluctantly acknowledged that my things were still in their warehouse. After 3 weeks of waiting, my TV arrived damaged, and the claims department's response was an insulting $31 offer for a $650 TV. Thankfully, the shipping brokers who hired Petrolino Movers on our behalf were able to step in and get us a more reasonable settlement -- $150 for the damaged TV, but that's still far below what it was worth. As for the $500 delivery discount, Petrolino Movers did eventually honor it, but only after a significant amount of back-and-forth. The fact that it took so much effort to get what they had promised speaks volumes about their customer service. The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic decency from this company is staggering. They are rude, inconsiderate, and downright unhelpful. The person in upper management, in particular, was infuriatingly dismissive, and frankly, they should be fired for how poorly they handled this entire situation. If you value your time, your belongings, and your sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from Petrolino Moves. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I'm beyond myself with this company and the amount of stress and loss it's caused me. I beg of anyone reading this to PLEASE Stay far away from Petrolino Movers. These people have ROBBED ME of all of my savings. They held my items hostage when it was time to deliver my things. They wouldn't release it unless I paid a kings ransom. Mind you, I ended up taking LESS funituree than what was originally quoted!!! The price just kept creeping up and up and up. By the time they got my things to me my price went from $6,389 to over $15,600 dollars!!! It took 8 weeks for my things to arrive when they promised 2-3 weeks max.... Every time I called it took 20 attempts to get someone and they were just rude and dismissive. Zero customer service. I retired, on a fixed income, and wanted to downsize to save money. I'm live in a 1 bedroom apartment. There is no way it should have cost that much. I feel completely violated and empty! read more

They're a broker & will rip you off for more money that you'll end up paying a lot more. Movers will say they don't have enough room on their truck for loading all your things even though they were listed. Any excuse just for more money this is how they rip you off then the guy in the office quoted me a quote after they deliver the furniture but then told me it was $200 more. You can't trust these people & I'm still waiting for my furniture to be delivered. I wonder if I'm going to get it but this company actually cost me more than my two hotels I stayed at, more than my home inspection, more than my home appraisal & more than my escrow so go figure!!! Please do not use them unless you want to go broke it's a low ball offer quote they give you at first but then it gets higher & higher after that. I will never hire this company again!!!!!! Also they are not affiliated with the BBB that's one red flag right there & I should've checked into that from the beginning that's why they can rip you off & get away with it. Petrolino is absolutely the most horrible service, broken furniture, crushed boxes, missing boxes, soiled furniture and rugs with water stains. Absolutely no care was taken to ensure proper handling of belongings. The initial price was not firm, and they charged over a thousand more dollars just to unload the destroyed pieces. read more

Petrolino Movers were responsive and helpful during my last minute move from Florida to Texas. They even made a stop at a nearby storage unit for things that weren't making the move. read more

They talk a good game but unfortunately they don't tell you everything. they say you can pay with your card for the service so we paid half for the deposit, made a payment for when they picked up my stuff at a storage unit which I thought I paid for the movers to pick my stuff up but my son and I were the one to take our stuff to the their truck so they can load it. They 2 guys only went into the storage facility once and that was to see what was in the unit. When our stuff finally made it to the destination the truck drive told me he couldn't get his rig to my unit in the apartment complex and was telling me he would have to take it to a U-Haul place unload my stuff into a U-Haul truck then deliver to my apt and that I would have to pay for it. I told him their is no way I'm paying for it and told him he has plenty of room for his truck to make the turn if he went the other way after arguing with him and asked him to try it my way guess what he was able to maneuver his truck and make it work. He then tells me I have to pay cash or Venmo the balance before he unloads my stuff. Not once did Pertrolino say that's how the payment procedure goes. And again I thought I was paying for mover to move my stuff and here I am moving boxes AGAIN. Once my stuff is inside my wife started to unpacked her standing jewelry cabinet that we wrapped with the wrapping plastic that someone had used a box cutter to cut the plastic and leave a blade knife cut down the front of it and take some of her jewelry. Boxes we smashed and boxes that we label THIS END UP in big black sharpie letters were all upside down. For them to say we will take care of your property is a lie. They say they are an in house moving company and done sub out to anyone is a lie cause the drive of the truck confirmed that. So if anyone is looking for a moving company I would stay away from this one. The only thing that was positive was talking to Alex as he was the only one who was professional. Moved me from MD to AZ. I had no issues, I feel they did am amazing job from start to finish. I don't agree with the bad reviews on here. I have moved around a bit and petrolino was Definitely one of the better moving companies I ever used. I feel like people just like to complain cause they can. I don't agree with the bad reviews on here. However I am sure every experience no matter what the situation is never the same. Petrolino took great care of my stuff. The only mistake I made was hiring a Broker. I should have found petrolino on my own. Thank you for an excellent experience. read more
