Pete's Grille was a good place ,but over tye last 5 years it has become something else, let me start with this, I am a regular that decided to create this profile just to write this review.. let me star with the owner daughter Jennifer, she is horrible , every time you go in there she is bitching and bitchin about how mich she hates her job and how stupid costumers are , like she is loud and we can all hear what everyone says In there, she always says am tire of dealing with a this stupid fuxks costumers at the window and in the counter, we all heard and she is just there being a bitch but yeah she expects all costumers to tip her and if someone doesn't she starts bitching, is horrible, I feel sorry for everyone working with her, I wouldn't be able to work next to her , maybe that's why they can't find help, ray Crum, you are trusting the wrong person to make the decisions there.. . This morning we stood outside the establishment at 7am. The waitress inside, a strawberry blonde w/ a bouffant stood behind the counter, back toward us, starring at us by means of a mirror. She never acknowledged our presence. 2 mins later a large man came and unlocked the door and pushed it slightly as he walked away. As the door slammed closed, my sister n I looked at each other in puzzlement. Perhaps they were having a bad day? Then as soon as we entered, the place reeked of cigarette smoke - is that not against the law?? We immediately left. What a horrible 1st encounter. They will NEVER get our money. I would highly recommend getting the large stack because these things are addicting. Personally, I like my pancakes with butter and just a touch of syrup. My co-workers and I get carry out from Pete's quite often. We've never eaten in but looks like it might be tough to get a seat anyway. Food is always great. My favorite is their chicken salad sandwich made with celery and onions- not too much mayo and no fruit or nuts like some other places. Always good consistently. Repeat customer. Good prices, great food, small seating area (bar stools). Still worth the wait time, which is usually shirt for us. (Party of 2 or 3 usually) to top it off I can watch them cook which makes it a more sanitary experience. They frequently wash their hands too. The chef is awesome. read more
