Walked into this restaurant with my friends under the impression that I would receive good service and good food.. walked into the place and people were literally screaming at each other and singing very offensive songs waited to order with the woman who claims to own the restaurant I made sure to tell her I do not eat meat and to have her explain to me what would come in the vegetable bean Szechuan just to be clear that it wouldn't be made out of any kind of meat sauce.. got home and the meal was completely wrong gave them a call so maybe I could be refunded for something I could not eat. The woman yelled at me and told me how much of a horrible customer I was just because I wanted to clarify what I was eating.. she's just horrible, disrespectful and I really do believe she was being racist. The food is awful so don't waste your time paying someone who would disrespect you for being anything but white.. read more

Peter Woo's - Chinese Near Me - Revere, Massachusetts

Hi. Food is great. But it would be great if you informed people that you don't close at 1 am and provided an updated information whether it's through Facebook or on your website. KEEP US UP TO DATE. Been calling and going before 1 am but this place is closed way before 12 am. read more

Best Crab Rangoon you will ever have. Made fresh everyday. Pork Fried Rice is phenomenal. I'm about 6 or 7 bites away from cracking the secret. I'd love to comment on the main course foods....but I never venture away from the appetizer dinner plate option (rice with any three appetizers) haha it's just that good and cheap only $9! And their drinks, just ask for the Tony or Gene special and you'll be taken care of. Peter Woo = #RevereLegend read more

Wish I could give this place more stars but the food was very blah. Very nice presentation, but just kind of tasteless. The spare ribs on the bone we're particularly lacking in flavor. The drinks were super strong however, so two stars for that. Also the gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and accommodating. Probably won't be back, though, because the food just wasn't up to par. It's too bad, too, because we live very close to the place and it would have been a really convenient place to go to regularly and I realize that it's important to support local businesses. read more

I don't like Chinese food. But a few Zombies fixed up by Gene...I do like Chinese food (kind of...) I go here with friends, and see everyone I went to high school with. It's a high school reunion, minus the hall & DJ. I go here only for the drinks, really. The 338 closed, so it's our last resort if we don't want to catch anything from the bars on Reveah Beach. read more

I've been a big Peter Woo's fan and wanted to support a local business. I have to say the service lately has been awful. First visit paid with debit card and the woman complained very loud that they get charged and it's ridiculous they take cards. Second time tried to call an order for over an hour and they just kept picking up and hanging up the phone. Decided to go in and place and order. The girl working was out having a cigarette once she came in was so rude as if we were inconveniencing her by trying to order. Needless to say will not be back anytime soon. read more

Peter Woos has always been a restaurant that Ive wanted to visit. However, after going for a meal with my friend, I kind of figured that its not the place for me. When we sat down with my friend we were looking to just have something small and not over the top. That is because it was like around 6 and we didnt want to stuff ourselves, we figured in ordering soup to start off and continue there after if we were still hungry. When we were ready to order, the server who was not the nicest, said that we could not only order the soup because it will be too little and that we needed to order more food or else we were just grabbing up space. When he told me that I got very upset and I said, well what if im not that hungry, you just cant shove food up in my mouth. But he said that rules were rules. I decided to still keep my soup and also order some more appetisers hoping that the food would make up for the bad attitude. However, when he brought my friends chicken noodle and my hot and sour, we were both disgusted by the soup. It wasnt good at all, not much flavor. The rest was ok, we got dumplins and some chicken wings which were good but I am not very enthusiastic on going back again. read more

I have been eating at Peters for years. Amazing fresh food, that's what sticks out the most, from the first bite you can tell that your food wasn't standing under some heat lamp all day. Awesome staff, delivery if just as delicious and fresh. Oh yeah and the price is fantastic, especially for the yuminess your are getting. When it comes to restaurants consistency is the most important thing, peter woos has been consistently delicious. read more

When I was young and dumb I gave this legendary bastion of freedom and the American way an inadequate rating. I regret the error read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The management/ owners were remarkably rude and unprofessional. My friends and I sat down and were ignored for 20 minutes before rudely being told we could not stay because it was after 12:30. It was 12:33 at the time. We got there way before 12:30 yet we were told we were lying about the time we came in. I'm unsure weather it's because they thought we were younger then most in the restaurant and thought we could be bossed around. We left in complete disgust of how we were treated and many of my family and friends go here but they WONT EVER AGAIN. I am so amazed by how rude people could be. This place was absolutely horrible and I will make it known to everyone I know who goes there. read more

Ordered Delivery and when i called to check on the the order which has been longer than what they said the lady who answers the phone says 15 more minutes then i asked her to cancel the order she rudely then says " ILL CANCEL THE ORDER BUT DONT CALL HERE AGAIN" who says that? We order here regularly and never had to deal with this rude ass miserable lady, what a shame. read more

They screwed up my order. I ordered 1 veg Singapore fried rice and 2 vegetarian Mooshis. What I got was 2 orders of Shrimp and Chicken fried rice and 2 veg mooshis. When I called back the woman who took my order was rude, unapologetic and did not want to talk. I would never go there until this woman is on the job there. read more

I am so unbelievably upset! I placed my order (mind you it was a relatively small order) at 6:40. After waiting over an hour I called to check on my order and and was rudly told it had already went out and then was hung up on. After waiting another 15 minutes I had called back and was told it would be another 10 minutes for the delivery driver, it had already been a little over an hour and half. That's when I decided to cancel my order. I'm not waiting for a table at P.F. Chang's. If you are going to have medicore Chinese food can you at least have nice customer service to make up for it? No apology or I am sorry for the confusion. This experience left me very hungry and very dissappointed! read more

I love this place! Excellent fresh cooked to order food and drinks! My go to place after work. The atmosphere is great! Betty and Tony are awesome! When in Revere, it's a must go to place. read more

Horrible restaurant, horrible service, horrible owner. I was not satisfied with my order after I specifically asked what was included in my meal, and I got something completely different. I called to ask the owner if I could possibly get something else and she told me I was a rude customer and that she can't refund everyone who doesn't know what they ordered and then hung up on me. SOME owner. Do not waste your time. read more

I don't visit peter woos too often but when I do I am always surprised with the clientel that visits. If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy good food you may want to rethink visiting peter woos. While the food is amazingly fresh and the service is personable it has been loud, rude and vulgar and that is being nice. I would think twice about bringing my children. I would hope that people would be aware of those around and watch their "p" and "q". Some people just should not drink. read more

I have been driving up Route 1 to Kowloon's forever thinking all the Chinese food places in Revere were gross, old and sketchy. My cousine told me to try Peter Woo's. The reviews on yelp had me give it a chance. Awsome. The place is little, only a couple of tables. There is a small bar that I sat at and the bartender was great. It's clean. No fly paper hanging from the kitchen window like I expected. Modern and comfortable. Didn't really pay attention to how fast the food came but it wasn't as fast as Kowloon's. I had an awsome Mai Tai. All the booze was top shelf, didn't see and well bottles to even choose from. My buddy had a don julio margaretta on the rocks. Food. 5 star. Left full and happy to not have to deal with Friday afternoon traffic on Route 1. I'll be back the next time a craving hits for chinese. read more

Peter Woo's has been around for a very long time and I can't understand why. Maybe because revere has shitty Chinese food and this is as good as it gets? The customer service is straight up awful. When you call and put in a to go order the man who answers the phone (who I'm pretty sure it Peter Woo) acts like you're inconveniencing him. The delivery time takes much longer than it ever should. The food gets worse and worse every time I get it. I am done with this place. Lighten up Peter. A*****e read more

Great food accompanied by amazing staff and owners. Always a welcoming place to walk into. Especially when you know you're going to get great food. read more

Very rude old man there named peter; I called for take out order and he was rude the way answering the phone and taking my order.... no greeting or welcoming tone all! He said it will be 10 min! I arrive 22 min later to pick up and the food is not ready! Not only that he was rude saying "we are busy and many tickets ahead of you, you can wait or leave, I do not care"!!! Wow, I will never do that again read more

If you want to get delivery, make sure you call back as they will not cook until the second call. We called and they told us delivery in 45 minutes. We called after an hour and they said that it was cooking. We expressed dissatisfaction and they hung up on us. Then 3 minutes later, they called us and told us it was now on the way. We canceled the order. I wish this was the first time this happened. It's common. Avoid. They don't appreciate their customers. Pass. I will never call again. read more

I'm a regular customer of Shanghai Express so naturally when my fiancé wanted to try somewhere new, I am automatically going to compare the food to each other. First of all, the food was room temperature when it was delivered and Peter Woo's is much closer to our house than Shanghai. Shanghai is alway fast and piping hot when it arrives. Peter's crab rangoon was very stingy with the filling, more like a wonton with a dollop of cream cheese. The chicken wings were tiny and over cooked. The beef teriyaki was also small and tough to chew. The dumplings were good but the ginger sauce was very bland. The rice had a rich dark color and large chunks of pork but the texture was soggy and the flavor was bland. Overall, not impressed. I will stick to Shanghai Express from now on. read more

If I could give this restaurant anything less than 1 star- I would! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! The beef from the beef and broccoli plate tastes absolutely rubbery and disgusting! The fried rice also tastes stale and cold. Will never order from here again! read more

Well, let me start with this. Any Chinese food that I am around in my life, is instantly compared to Woos. In fact, I can't eat Chinese food most of the time because it is garbage. Woos cooks everything fresh to order. The best in Massachusetts hands down!. Not to mention the staff is friendly and accommodating. It's nice to see that Peter gave up a career in modeling to so that he can insure the best, most fresh, highest quality Chinese food in New England!! RUN, don't walk to Peter Woos! read more

Peter Woo's has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Revere, maybe even in the Boston area. I had the Pu Pu Platter which came in a generous portion size and was one of the best I've ever had. I especially loved the spare ribs - really meaty and juicy. Also ordered the Chicken Lo Mein. The sauce the noodles were stir fried in had an undescribeable flavor, almost heavenly. Gene, Tony, Betty and of course Peter are the best! This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars - The bathroom was immaculate, lol. read more

It's a place that me and my boyfriend to for the first time to try a new place. As we walked in there were only 2 people at the bar. Place was empty & I thought well I looked at the rating and it wasn't bad, why isn't anyone here on a weekend ? No one sat us . So we just sat our self. Didn't know if you seat your self or not. But we did. The lady brought us menus and water. She ran out back to get another employee he came over and said are you all set. No one offered us drinks. So I said no we aren't I'd like to order 2 sodas. Sodas were flat. My boyfriend ended up going to get a bottle of soda from store across street. We ordered garlic noodles that were not even flavorful they tasted like basic noodles & they were cold very cold. Crab Rangoon that were basically filled with cream cheese.. and egg fried rice that was burnt and no flavor. Scallion pancakes that were okay, but cold. The food was not hot like it was suppose to be.. i was very upset because I wanted to have a new place to grab food at but unfortunately this place will not be the place I go back to. The lady behind the counter wasn't even professionally, with her language of swears. I tried but it's a no for me . read more

I've only been inside Peter Woo's once, and it was enough to confirm that it's not a place where I go to sit and eat. Tiny, dominated by a large bar; just not my idea of a place where I want to sit and eat. However, we get takeout from Peter Woo's on a regular basis, and have never been disappointed. The food always arrives within the time frame they state, and it's always hot and yummy. Our mainstays are General Gao's, Shrimp Rangoon, Hot and Sour Soup, Spicy String Beans,, Potstickers, etc. It may not be the very best of all time ever, but after a few disastrous attempts from other local Chinese eateries after we moved here two years ago, we have been content with Peter Woo's as our one of our regular go-to places for Friday nights with take-out and a movie at home. read more

Prices up over $1 to $2 dollars on ever item. And food quality down. Do not want dry food when ordering Chinese food. I don't know if it is a new manager or new chef. Ill be heading to Billy Tse unless Peter Woos finds itself again. read more

I was staying in Boston for a work related conference and decided to check this place out with my colleagues. I understand that it is busy on the weekends, but waiting nearly thirty minutes for our drinks to be brought over is simply bad service. There was a red-haired woman sitting behind the bar chatting with customers while the two Chinese staff were running back and forth to the tables and making all of the drinks. As far as the food was concerned, the pork fried rice was not fresh and had a burnt taste, and the appetizers were overcooked. The entrees were all bland and tasteless. I would NOT eat here again and I do NOT recommend this place to anyone visiting the Boston area. If this is the best the city of Revere has to offer for Chinese food then that is pathetic... read more

Love their food , always fresh ! Great delivery as well . Great prices . The best chicken wings

Once again, came home for a visit with the family and got Peter Woo's on the first night. It was tasty and filling as usual. We tried something new this time. The Chow Fun was a great consistency but wasn't quiet as flavorful as our normal fav, the lo mein. read more

Great food as to be expected from Peter Woo. ..just like the days at the August Moon Bar.......

This is the late night spot! If your ever at Logan and want Chinese or tropical cocktails, yes tropical cocktails! Give this place a shot! Interesting atmosphere, great staff, wish I didn't have to drink to try one of the tropical cocktails () and wish they had NYC General Tso's chicken on the menu, but overall a great late night spot! read more

My cousins, sisters, and myself went in to Peter Woo's for dinner after a long drive. We ordered 2 appetizer plates that each come with rice and your choice of 3 appetizers. For myself, one plate lasts 2 or 3 meals. For the 5 of us (aged 12-18) 2 plates would've been plenty. The waiter told us we needed to order "more food". I told him there was nothing else we wanted off the menu and he said he wouldn't be able to serve us because we didn't meet the minimum based off how many people in our party. I tried to explain that we were all kids and Asked if there was someone he could talk to. He went to the manager and she yelled for the restaurant to hear "they're going to pay for their plates and utensils, I'm not making that sh*t". The waiter came back and said we were going to have to order more food. Since there was no food we wanted, we told the waiter we were leaving and would find somewhere else to eat. We would give no stars but you can't. read more

Peter Woowoo's gets my 5 stars for 3 reasons! 1. Open til 2am/ 7 days a week, The Chicken Wings are Awesome! and The owners are so friendly! I wouldn't consider this place for a first date or anything, but for the surrounding area, this is very good, stereotypical Chinese food. Chcken!!!! read more
