This restaurant is always a good option. We've eaten here several times for breakfast. This week we ate there for lunch. The hubby, mother-in-law, and I each had one of the daily specials. Reasonably priced, good portions, and the server we had was excellent!

Mediocre is a kind word to use here. Cobbler was burned. Bananas in the pudding were black. Rolls were dry. Smothered grilled chicken was dry and hardly had any cheese. When I asked for something to "smother" the chicken, I was told that a side of gravy was an extra charge. The fried squash was freezer burned. Just nope...don't waste your calories! Also, the server used the same tea pitcher that had been sitting on our table to fill up another guest's cup. So unsanitary!

I ordered a take out meal for my sister on her birthday, and for myself as well. My sister wanted the fried grouper with Mac and cheese, rice and gravy with a yeast roll. My order was fried chicken tenders, fried okra, mac and cheese and a yeast roll. The meal was only ok to me, the chicken color was red as if they had put to much paprika in the coating, not much flavor to the chicken even though I recooked it, it was still a little on the tough side. The mac and cheese didn't have much flavor either, I had to "doctor" that up. The yeast roll I only took a bite and was done. This was my first time eating from Pete's since their move to this location, I think this was my last visit.

Grandparents took us before we left for home for lunch here! It's a pretty good place. Surprisingly cheap and if you want a good hearty meal or a chili dog this is the place to go. We had great service from Mandi and the fact that they had a Greek option, for me was a huge score. ( I'm the only one in my family who loves green, fyi it's lamb too! It was sooo good). Thank you for a great visit! The only complaint I have is the cobbler is super super dry it's missing that juice or something and the Mac n cheese is also very dry. But all in all I LOVED the gyro and the tzatziki sauce was one of the best I've had!

Like other commenters in here the food was great. I really liked the fresh squeezed OJ and all I could say when the ONE pancake was brought out was, "Holy Moley!" It was HUGE! The only thing keeping me from giving more than three stars was it the service; it was lacking. In these times of Covid to have a waitress come up to your table with her mask under her chin is not good. I had to ask for menus, maybe we looked like regulars. Most of the food came out pretty quickly, but by the time my son got his toast he had almost eaten everything else.

Love it here! It's an old style diner, been around for a very long time. Food is excellent, portion served fills one up and price is inexpensive. I had the beef tips on rice, collard greens and sweet potato souffle. Beef tips were tender and juicy. The brown sauce that comes with it wasn't overly salted. The sides were tasty too. The rubber tree plant indoors is years old, sprawls the width of the store and then some. We enjoyed the experience here, looking forward to drop by many more times. The only down side for me was that the smell of the food was in the air. Left with a satisfied tummy but my jacket smelled of Pete's #6

This is overall a good American restaurant that serves a plethora of favorites. For this trip, I got the "fishy Friday" special that includes two pieces of fried flounder and two sides. I got the fried okra and fried squash. Ordering online was a breeze but pickup can take between 5-10 minutes on occasions. I recommend at least trying Pete's a few times to see which of their menu items you like.

Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and skillet potatoes. 5.99. This place is absolute best.

I have lived in the Greenville County area all my life. I have been eating at Clock restaurants,…read morePete's restaurants, and Carolina Fine Foods for 50 plus years, and I have to say this Clock is the worst I've eaten at since I have been dining at other similar restaurants in the Upstate since the 1970s. My wife can't stand this place either. The place is clean and the presentation of the food looks great, but that's about it. I'm not exaggerating when I say their food is tasteless. I've tried them a few times just to be fair before judging them, but I have to say there are similar restaurants in Easley and Greenville that are better.

We were on our way home to Charleston when we stopped at the clock restaurant outside of iEasley…read more Ellis and I said after we took our first bites of our meal... Move over lizard thicket...this is your competition. We ordered the special of the week, the c country steak along with the well, seasoned canned green beans, and the creamy mac & cheese. The country fried steak with its brown gravy was delicious. All of our food was super hot, and the waitress brought it to our numbered table. the service was gracious, and they checked back to see that our food was OK and whether we wanted a refill on our drinks. Zachary and GEORGE ordered burgers with french fries and onion rings. The burgers were not grilled, they were steamed. The fries and onion rings were crispy. George thought that the Batter was a bit too crispy and he couldn't taste the onion. On the other hand, Ellis and I thought the onion rings were crispy, hot and delicious. So if you want to know what we think, Ellis and I would say...order the house special of the week. George and Zachary say... best experience is looking at it in your rearview mirror. We had great fun writing our "four star" review.
