I chose the chili slaw dog and onion rings. It didn't blow my socks off but it was tasty. First, the hospitality of the lady taking the orders was superb! She was so kind and helpful. This was our first time at the establishment. This place is a diner. It was clean inside. Because of the tile, the floors were slippery because of the rain. There were lots of people coming in here and in the drive thru so we were happy with our choice. The food was piping hot. Fresh and delicious! They make their own bbq sauce and ranch dressing. They may have made others but I opted for those two. The food was so tasty! The guy that's taking the orders at the window is not friendly. Customer service needs improvement!!

I ordered two chef salads. One was missing an item that comes with the salad and the other had onions (these do not typically come on the salad). When I called back to have my order fixed, I spoke to a rude employee who was not sympathetic in the least of the restaurants mistake. She then put the manager on the phone (without let me know she is going to have me speak with one). The manager also had an attitude and was unpleasant to talk to. This is a local spot so I don't expect locals to not visit, however if you are a visitor or new to the Greenville area, I would NOT recommend you eat at this restaurant. The food was awful, I ordered a chili cheese dog. The chili looked like canned dog food and the hot dog itself tasted like a Vienna sausage and had the texture of one as well. My drink was also sniffed to see if it was root beer or Pepsi by the lady in the front. I won't be back. read more

Great place for dinner! Stopped on a family trip and used the drive-thru. Huge menu!! Everything from grilled cheese to grilled chicken, burgers, and fish. This used to be my go to pkace for a good burger and onion rings. Staff is usually friendly. Food is made to order and fresh. The last time I went I noticed the price had went up AND the size of the portions had decreased. I guess I understand....because of covid...so ill wait until things get better to go back. One of my favorite places to eat lunch when I'm in Greenville for work! The chicken Gyro is wonderful and so is their lemonade! 4 stars because I wasn't too fond of their bacon on my BLT from my last lunch. But I will definitely be back for the gyro and corn nuggets!!! read more

I have gone to this "restaurant a few times before but today really took the cake! When I went there to grab something for lunch today, I placed my order at the window for a club sandwich. When I got to the window for my order I was told that was not what I ordered. That I had ordered a ham sandwich. And I said no i didn't and he them like the buffoon he is asks me if I even know what's on a club sandwich. Of course I know or I wouldn't have ordered it! And I was told again that I ordered something different. And then they began arguing with me. And this guy starts screaming at me telling me he heard me order it. He wasn't even at the window taking orders. Then he tells me that now he would have to make it. Well duh, that is your job! So then he tells me it would be $15. So I pull into a parking space and wait. I get back to my job and I call back to speak with the manager and complain. Then the same buffoon answers the phone and says he IS the manager, which just goes to show. He told me his name was "Tommy" and tells me he could tell my voice and attitude because I was an "entitled bitch". He could tell I was! Then he continued to tell me to shut up and to use his superlative wording told me "go F*ck yourself" I shouldn't have been surprised by his lack of intelligent response and incredible customer service etiquette. I Immediately looked up the information for the OWNER of the restaurant and called him. His Name is Jimmy Tsrikas and I called for him at the restaurant. Upon reaching Jimmy Tsrikas he told me he heard all about it and when I informed him of the customer service hi so called manager was offering he told me he didn't want to hear it, and hung up as well. Well, Mr. Tsrikas if you are so proud to offer that king of customer service yourself, it is no wonder you have the caliber of employees you do. I've been fortunate to have traveled all over the U.S. and the world, so when I say that The Clock has the best chili-cheeseburgers in the world, I consider myself an authoritative source. There are many Clock Drive In's around the South Carolina Upstate area and I've eaten at several of them with the same remarkable satisfaction. I like to add a little slaw to my burger to give it an added bang; but it's not needed as the flavor is awesome as is. Many of the Clock restaurants have been around for decades so don't expect a 5-star atmosphere, but if it's a great burger or hot dog you want, then this is the place to go. I make it a priority to visit the Clock Drive In anytime I'm in the area. You won't be disappointed. read more

Was starving when I left home this morning and like always had a craving but wasn't sure what I wanted. I just knew whatever I was getting better be DELICIOUS, FILLING AND GREAT PEOPLE WORKING THERE. My friend asked if I wanted The Clock and as soon as she said "The Clock" my stomach instantly started to growl because all I could think about for the next 40 minuets were CORN NUGGETS, HAMBURGER STEAK, MAC & CHEESE AND BEST COLESLAW I EVER TASTED We eat there about twice a month if I'm in Greenville. Staff is BEST I have ever experienced in a small restaurant from Oconee to Greenville to Pickens County. They are always smiling, friendly and make you feel like you are home in the kitchen with them!!! Always very clean and chilly. Someone there is extremely hot natured because today the lady came around and turned up the thermostat. I said to her "Thank God I wasn't the only one with my teeth chattering in there" So with the amazing food, conversation and the chilliness I was ready to take a long nap because it was the best recipe with that combination and made this lil . My son ordered Mac n cheese and we Had the same problem, no flavor. It be pretty great if they added some vegan or vegetarian options as well. Using yelp as my guide, I like to try new places as I travel 3 states. I made a u turn based on the other reviews and I am sorely disappointed. I tried the chili cheeseburger. They forgot the cheese ( how do you ck that at the drive in window?) and I opted for onion rings for .99 xtra over the fries. A big mistake. The onion rings were awful. But then again no one beats the Varsity in metro Atlanta for rings. Oh well! read more
