I have been enjoying this place for years and I'm so glad to see they have reopened for the afternoon hours hopefully Google will allow this post to go through because for some reason without explanation I have several reviews stuck in pending for several months! Unfortunately this place is no longer serving breakfast but I'm happy to see they have wings now. They are good sized ones and very flavorful. Pork Chops are really good and so are the burgers, especially the large one read more

We will never be back. It was FILTHY. No actual customer service. You seat yourself (if you dare) and go get your food from the counter when they call your name. I didn't realize this beforehand because it was our first time here. So I told the girl at the counter we were dining in. Out of all of the tables there was only one that was clean enough. Not to say that people who worked there didn't walk around and pick up trays- they did, but they didn't bother cleaning off tables or chairs or sweeping the floor. We got to-go boxes and left. The food is decent but it isn't good enough to sit in the filth. Too many good restaurants to suffer that. read more

Food service are very good. Everything is made to order so food is always hot. Would recommend.

We went to Nick Henry's today and had their wings! Delicious and juicy garlic Parmesan. I had the chicken melt. Cheesy melty goodness with savory juicy chicken! The staff are always nice and inviting. Love this place. read more

This is a great family restaurant, they have a good variety on the menu, something for everyone. The bird dog is a favorite amongst the teenagers in the area. The staff is nice and friendly, helpful with questions. Reasonable priced, clean restaurant, has great atmosphere. Family owned. If you have not been yet you need to go at least once. I recommend to everyone. read more

Unprofessional.... A family member recommended this restaurant in conversation as a great place to eat. We "Googled" the restaurant to determine their closing time on 6/27/16. Realizing they close at 9 PM, we decided to run in and place a to-go order so I could "try them". As we walked through the door, at approximately 8:54pm, we heard the "manager" tell the cashier, "Tell them we're closed." I walked up to the counter and the cashier informed us they were closed. I asked the cashier to confirm closing time & she confirmed it was 9 PM and apologized pitifully stating she was simply repeating what her manager had told her to say. Unfortunately, and as some of the reviews indicate, the food may be good but I will never know. Because of the lack of professionalism of the management of this establishment, they will never gain my business nor any potential referrals. What this manager failed to realize is that I may have ordered a glass of water, which would've taken 30 seconds to prepare and enable him to be $.50 richer OR I may have been planning to place a catering order for my business to serve a meal for hundreds of people at a later date. As a business owner, I would like to remind this establishment to be careful how you treat potential customers. Business is built upon good customer service & lasting relationships. Most importantly, never "judge a book by its cover" or make an assumption of a potential customer's intentions, regardless of their race, your ignorance/personal stereotypes or if your feet are tired from standing over a hot greasy grill all day. read more

Their food is delicious no doubt but their side serving amount, at least the to-go fair, will just end up leaving one hangry.

Eh. Thought about trying it for so long and regretted it when I did. Paid around $12 for steak fingers and fries. They were bland as hell!!! Tasted like they were straight out the freezer without seasoning. Yea. I probably won't ever go back. read more

BEST. FRIES. Ever! The staff are always friendly and helpful. This place is a Powdersville treasure. You can always depend on a clean environment, a menu full of great choices, and well-prepared food. Portions are very generous. read more

I love NickHenry's food! The staff is always friendly, the food is made fresh daily & the owner Joe Snow couldn't be more personable; as he always makes us feel at home and welcomed! This place is a true beacon.. I love NickHenry's!!! read more

After living in Powdersville over 6 years, we finally decided to try this place out! We saw the drive thru and thought, what the heck let's try it! Their drive thru speaker system was not working after sitting there for a minute or so, so we drove up to the window. Apparently it's been broken for over two years, no sign indicating that or anything so we thought that was weird! I got the patty melt while my husband got the BBQ chicken sandwich with onion rings. We waited roughly 20 minutes for the food which wasn't awful, but oooh was it worth it. Diner food is my favorite and this place has it down! The onion rings were sooo crispy and the Texas toast was perfect. Definitely will be going here again, just called ahead first! The staff was really nice and helpful, prices were fair! read more

Locally owned and operated. Great sandwiches and salads. They also have hand battered chicken fingers that are to die for. Portions are huge and you will not go away hungry. read more

NickHenry's is a must try in Powdersville. I've tried several things on the menu and everything has been flavorful and consistent. The burgers are the best in Powdersville! read more

If you've never had a bird dog then this is the place to get one! Sooooo good!! Wait times are a bit high. Luckily they changed the drive thru for call in orders so that's helped. Wouldn't recommend going if you're in a hurry. Overall the food and service is great, just have to be patient ;) read more

Decent place, nothing fancy with regard to the atmosphere. Lots of people from our church like to go to grab a bite and talk. I have been in with my wife on a few occasions and have eaten salads each time. Huge salad. It's served on a styrofoam plate, so no joke, the atmosphere is on the low end. Good salad though. read more

I have grown up eating here and the food is always delicious. The only problem is they are a bit pricey for what you get. If they would lower some prices, i would eat there much more frequently. And be prepared to wait. The food is made to order but for a greasy burger and fries, it takes a while! read more

We absolutely love this place. We get takeout from here quite often. I always order the Philly Pita plate. It is very delicious.

Sooooo good! Bird dogs are the best! So are their pitas! Been a favorite for years! Dine in or take out!

Great local restaurant with a grill type menu. I have found the best menu item to be their Bird Dogs! They also have some of the best sweet tea anywhere around. I would recommend! read more

Fast food restaurant????? Are you kidding me .... I waited 50 mins to get 2 bird dogs..... I couldn't even eat it, Bc I only have an hour lunch time read more

I had an ok experience here. Not the greatest. Food took a long while to come out. The gyro was good and tzakiki. My hubby liked the fries. It just sat wrong with me that they served the baked potato with nothing, no butter, nope nothing. I had to go up and she said they charge extra for fixings. You may want to ask people who order... do you want anything with the plain potato? Now the fixing were good. Fresh bacon and generous cheese. read more

Went there for lunch because I wanted to patronize a local restaurant I was told there would be a 30 minute wait which I agreed to but 45 minutes later I still had not received my order (chicken munchie and bacon cheeseburger plate). Long story short the food was great but I probably would not go back because I noticed several other customers who came after me receiving there food before I received mine and I went into the restaurant to request my money back and miraculously my food was ready. It was very chaotic they initially couldn't find my order and searched through a stack of orders. When I got home I noticed they forgot my coleslaw I didn't bother to call back. read more

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. I wish they would expand so I can have bird dogs when I travel. I've almost everything on the menu and the only thing I've been disappointed with was the philly cheese steak. Their ranch and honey mustard sauces are homemade and really good. This is a must try if you've never eaten here before. Get the bird dog if it's you're first time!! read more

Try the Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken and Onion Rings ! All cooked to order and the Greek dressing is straight from Athens ! Very good little eatery with killer prices ! Try it, you'll like it ! read more

I love Nickhenry's greek salad with grilled chicken -- the veggies are fresh, the chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the dressings taste homemade! The fried chicken strips are great too, but I usually opt for the salad and just swipe a crinkle cut fry from my husband's plate. He gets the birddog ( a chicken strip on a hot dog bun with cheese, honey mustard, bacon). If you're going to go through the drive thru, call your order in first. This restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is YUM! read more

The food is pretty good - especially the chicken fingers. Fries are good. Onion rings are ok. Next time I'll try something besides a burger. They don't seem thrilled about getting new customers from coupon programs, which always fascinates me because it's proof that the advertising worked and if it were me I'd be thrilled. We'll probably give it another shot (because I couldn't use my coupon on chicken fingers and a burger - has to be 2 sandwiches without the basket), but I can't say I'll be more excited about it than I was the original adventure today was. read more

I went here because I was working on this side of town. Family owned, friendly staff. Older restaurant but they have good food. Menu is clear and so are prices. I got the grilled chicken pita basket with extra fries. The fries are crispy and golden. My pita sandwich was full of chicken and extremely fresh vegetables. I will be back! Thanks nickhenrys! read more

I personally love Nick Henry's and have for years there chicken is honestly the best I know and I've eaten a lot of chicken the only thing I would recommend is better people at the front doing orders they have attitudes and sometimes ignore when you say something but other than that it's a great restaurant and I would highly recommend I gave it a five star because there really are good people there just a few bad ones here and there. read more

We ate there for the first time yesterday and overall it was really good. My husband liked the BBQ sandwich a lot and our fries were hot, crispy and just wonderful (a tad too much salt but nothing that can't be tapped off). I love the pickle spear. I got the patty melt and it was just barely okay. It had a good flavor but the beef patty was tiny - thin and small. The chopped, grilled onions were very good; it was on Texas toast and that was good but it was lots dryer than patty melts are supposed to be. A bigger beef patty and more butter on both pieces of bread are definitely needed. While we'll definitely be back, I won't order the patty melt again. I look forward to trying more of their food. read more

Best bird dog. Best ranch dressing. Best grilled chicken pita. Friendly and clean. Love

Get the bird dogs. Chicken finger in a bun with bacon bits and cheese. Can't beat it. Great local stop.

NEVER AGAIN!! My husband and I have been ordering take out from this establishment for over 10 years. Tonight is the end to many Friday night take outs from NickHenry's. I called, ordered, was told 15 mins. We arrived right at 15mins. There was a car in drive-thru so instead of waiting my husband went inside. He paid and stepped aside. An order to go was placed on the kitchen counter (open counters) and the kitchen guy says "order up". The food sits on counter 5mins (husband timed) before the girl bags, then she walks away. During the 5 mins there are 3 girls, one answering phone, one talking to a guy, and one complaining about it being slow for a Friday night. My husband finally ask one of the girls to check on his food. She hands him the bag that had been sitting open for 5 mins, then bagged sitting for another few mins. He asked to speak to a manager. The manager was the owner, Nick. My husband NEVER complains, but this had upset him. He just wanted to let someone in charge now how long his food had sat on that counter while he was waiting. My husband said when Nick did not start with an apology, but excuses, he knew Nick was not going to be receptive to his complaint. I called Nick to express my concern on the situation. I felt Nick may have misunderstand that my husband was just trying to make him aware of the cold food we had just received. My husband did not want anything for free only an apology of his employees lack attention. Nick spoke to me like a low class citizen. He informed me that I had no clue what it was like to work in a business of his type. I was happy to tell Nick that I have worked in the restaurant business. I was taught the customer was right 98% of the time, management never makes excuses, and you apologize and if need be offer a free drink. I do believe if you are not in the group of Mr. Nick's realm, you are considered a nobody. Nick needs an attitude change. I called back to ask when the other owner would be in so I could talk with him. Nick informed me that the other owner would not listen to me or my husband. We are not welcome at his establishment. Oh Well Going to Miss those Onion Rings.. read more
