I missed this gem for too many years. I'll have to make up for lost time! Friendly to a fault. Super clean. Super good. Oh, did I not mention fresh cut fries? Super good fries. GO THERE NOW!!

What a great place for lunch! The Hot Dog Cafe was recommended by several local people. The food was delicious. I love a good chili dog, let along with coleslaw on top. Mine was one of the best. Besides the chili dog, I tried the cheese burger. I have not had a cheese burger like this since I was a The Boston Lunch, ages ago. French fries were like the fries my dad used to make. Par fried then fried again before serving I could go on better yet go yourself. You won't be sorry.

The hot dog cafe is a nice little place. Very friendly and good burgers. The dogs weren't too appetizing to me. The dog was a cheap dog basically. The sweet tea is good also. Overall it is an inexpensive place to get a lunch

A great place to get hot dogs, a good meaty chili, and the hamburgers are big, no need for a double patty. Fries are cut in house.

Best chili on an "all-the-way" dog I've had on a dog. Crispy fries very tasty but not that crispy and kind of greasy. Dog was very good.

It all looks really good and is a great size serving. But personally, I feel like the burgers and sandwiches are lacking seasoning. Don't get me wrong, you definitely taste the beefy-ness of the patty's and the meats, but I find myself having to add mayonnaise, ketchup, and salt and pepper on the patties and fries. I've been here 4 times, the 1st and 2nd times were not like that, but my 3rd and 4th were. Service was good, order at the counter then take a seat where you'd like and they'll bring it out. Self-serve on drinks. Small cozy and tight dining space, but it works! I will miss this place. 8/10

A shame to hear they are not renewing their lease and will be closing. The owner told me they are opening a different style place downtown and may re-open a place like the current joint in the east side but it will be a while. Really unfortunate as the burgers here are top shelf. I had to try both a dog and a burger - both Carolina style. Their chili is amazing so it really set both the dog and burger off. I added grilled onions to the burger and they were cooked perfectly. The fries are fresh cut and flavorful but they are cut very small. One recommendation to the owner, go to a more substantial fry. I highly highly recommend this place. Get in here before they close!!

I read it three times, not because I misunderstood it, but because I wanted to confirm that it listed pets and children in that order, which it did, and that tells you something about the sequence of problems they've encountered on the lawn, though I've decided not to find out what exactly. With that said, the lawn is not exactly a lawn at all, unless you consider granite rocks as a lawn, which the residents of Elberton, Georgia do as it is considered the "Granite Capital of the World." Elberton this is not. This rocky lawn is to be filled with Bichon Frisés and children in ball caps, and on the afternoon I visited it was doing exactly that. There was a dog near the covered bar area moving through the patio with the serenity of an animal who has never once been told that other people exist. His owner stood nearby holding a beer and looking proud, which is a face I recognized, because I have a son and have stood next to him with that exact expression at least twice in public places where I should have known better. I had the Radiant Positivity, a sour ale at 6%, which sounds like something printed above a middle school guidance counselor's desk but turned out to be genuinely good, all grapefruit and a tartness that knew when to stop. I thought about ordering the Kamp Jam, a 4% light lager described as tasting like shared laughter and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, and decided I wasn't there yet. The owners opened this place in 2014 and have expanded it three times since, which tells you something about Greer that it probably already knows about itself but that the rest of the area is still catching up on. Consequentially, Greer itself has also expanded its waistline 3 times since 2014 but that's a discussion for another time. I thought about asking about the Southern Sanctum, an American Tripel, but the afternoon had reached the evening and a point where a Tripel felt like a commitment that deserved more deliberation than I had left in me. I paid my tab, which was reasonable in a way that surprised me given the quality of everything, said goodbye to nobody in particular, and drove home thinking about the Kamp Jam, and whether the unbreakable bonds of friendship were something I'd get to eventually.

I really wanted to like this place, however they have several complaints…read more The best thing about Small Sliders is their service. The lady at the counter provided great customer service and food came out in 3-4 minutes. Considering how busy it was then, I like how efficient they are like Chick-Fil-A. Unfortunately that's where the compliments end. Pricing for the combos are slightly above what you would pay for at a fast food burger spot. In addition, the menu when ordering will make you feel like you're being nickel and dimed. I didn't mind paying for the queso, but paying extra for each of their sauces felt extra. There's only so few fast food restaurants that charge for extra sauce. The food portions were surprisingly small. Yes sliders are small, but the fries portion felt very sparse. It might have been the smallest side portion I've received at a fast food restaurant. The food is good for what it is. I'd prefer this over your typical fast food burgers, but by only so much. All orders are packaged to go, regardless if you choose to dine in or not. There are outdoor tables that you can sit there and eat if you'd like to. If you're looking for something quick in the area, good service, and a small burger meal, this in my opinion would be a good place to go. Otherwise, I can't suggest going here unless you really want to try it. I'd like to be wrong and try it again with some sort of change.
