A 4-Top does not work real well with 4 Adults who are drinking, getting apps and entrees. It gets tight. I enjoyed the food at Double Dogs but what was even more impressive was the service. We were a big group with 2 toddlers (and one intoxicated adult who basically acted like a toddler). The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially when the kids made a mess of their meals. They were super patient and kind and I was so impressed by how they kept their cool. I got the Tillamook dog and it was very tasty. The fries were too skinny and stubby for my preference but that's really a me thing. I went there tonight for the World Cup game. We had such an amazing experience! The food was excellent, fast, & the vibes were happy, positive and fun. I want to give an extra shoutout to the wait staff, especially our server, Katie. It was a packed bar, but she was around every 5-10 minutes checking up on us, making sure we were all good. Came here after recommendation from a co-worker on a recent business trip. Seated immediately and it was fairly full. Pretty typical sports bar with the only uniqueness being somewhat themed around dogs. Seemed to have a good selection of beers but when I inquired about cocktail menu the server said there is a full bar but not a menu to choose from. I chose the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and French Fries. It was good but nothing amazing. The S'mores Cream Pie was described as brownie like and was served cold. I would have enjoyed it more had it been served warm with ice cream. Probably won't return on future trips since there are so many other options in the area. read more

Super cute and fun place! We visited Greenville and needed a dinner spot. We striked out at a few places prior due to being closed or closing early. It was later in the evening and we just wanted dinner. I stumbled on Double Dogs. It was good! They had a great atmosphere and good food and drinks. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks and an appetizer. The chicken tender salad was delicious. I couldn't finish it all. But the dressing was so yummy! Visited again 9/18/23. Sat at the bar and had a couple of cocktails. For dinner I decided to get the bacon cheeseburger since it was national cheeseburger day. And holy schnikes it was delicious!! But I ordered the chicken club sandwich with fries while my hubs ordered the chicken pot pie. He was extremely happy with his choice, I however was not. The fries were good but the sandwich was soggy bun on bottom with a gloppy mess inside the sandwich. The grilled chicken was flavorless and I was unimpressed. The food is very good, I had a Reuben once and the chicken pot pie every other time. I highly recommend the chicken pot pie, dining in it's served steaming hot in a skillet. It has a to AND bottom crust, a plus in my book. The atmosphere is pretty chaotic though, with TVs at every turn and the patrons that are drinking tend to be extremely loud, no matter what time of day it is. Months ago my partner and I tried dining here but was told the wait could be up to an hour as we had our dog with us (required patio seating), and it was a game day so people were staying to watch. We decided to leave to dine elsewhere, but last week we decided to try again since the weather permitted. I'm so glad we did, our server (I wish I remembered his name, black gentleman) was the most charismatic person and was an absolute sweetheart to our dog, Fiji! My partner and I had a difficult time choosing between the dishes, so we got the entrees pictured and split them in half to share. Everything was perfect. My partner is huge on fries and was very, very happy to see how large of a portion there was. We ordered an unseasoned beef patty for our dog, she got full very fast! The restaurant was steady, but there was never a time when we wondered where our server was. There are TVs to watch even from the patio seating. The patio had heaters as well. We've been coming to Double Dogs since they opened and have liked it ... we come at least 2 times a month. But today was horrible I ordered a burger as I have before but this one was so soggy and the burger was extremely pink. No not pink like people eat like pink like not cooked not even enough for it to bind together . I was completely grossed out so no I didn't take a picture. I asked the waitress to please take it and ordered 6 boneless wings. By the time they came out my family was done eating so I just asked for a to go box and the check to not make them sit there and watch me eat alone. I've never been so disappointed in the lack of customer service. I'm sure the sweet waitress went back and gave the burger back yet no one came out to say anything it was just disregarded. We went to Double Dogs on Pelham, like we have for several Saturdays in a row. It's not my "kind" of place necessarily, but the food is good. It's more of a sports bar with lots of TV monitors covering almost all the high ceiling walls. The staff is very good and attentive. A few servers have recognized use with a sincere, "welcome back!" I've had the chicken pot pie at least three times--amazing crust, peas and diced carrots (still crisp!), with a generous load of chunk white meat chicken. Served in a skillet, piping hot, bringing back memories of home-from-school-sick lunch with mom-- but this pie beats any frozen pie I've ever had by a country mile. My son has gotten the hamburger which was huge. My son-in-law got a pizza and seemed to like it a lot. My wife and I have both gotten the tuna salad. It's a large plate of toasted French bread, pita triangles, sliced cucumbers and celery. But the star of the show is a heaping mound of diced tuna on a bed of greens. Should we split this plate? Yes. Have we? No. They also have a rotating soup of the week. The loaded potato is good, Leisa likes the tomato bisque, but my favorite is the Italian wedding soup! Good stuff! (We have noticed all of the soups are a tad salty, but being a sports bar, I guess that makes sense.) They have a grilled cheese and soup combo, and a soup and salad combo. I have the Thai pasta salad on my "next time" list. Their sausage & queso dip and chips will have you fighting over the last crumbs. The Bo's Dig Bowl nachos is an honest moniker--served in a big metal dog food bowl, is loaded high with tortillas chips, homemade chili, Italian sausage, refried beans, Monterey Jack cheese, white Jack cheese sauce, shredded lettuce, jalapeños, pico de gallo, and lime sour cream. The menu is pretty wide: Pizza, chicken sandwiches, a Philly steak sandwich, a pork loin sandwich, and a few hot dog choices--really a good variety of food. But I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about last week's entree: stroganoff mac & cheese! Like the chicken pot pie, it's comfort food taken up a notch! So sad! We were looking forward to lunch at Double Dogs, but it's so poorly managed that we couldn't even get a waitress to our table. At the door, we were greeted quickly, and sat immediately. And then we waited. And waited and waited. The place was only half full, and there were plenty of waitresses, but no one in our area. One of us finally went and asked the greeter if she could get a waitress for us. The girl finally came, checked on a couple other tables, and walked away! That's when we left. Their house beer, Diddly is very tasty and refreshing. They have the best, juiciest burgers in the GSP area. Try the Chancey burger for big appetites. My wife loves their salads. I'm going to start with the bad because they are minor but shouldn't be lost under the positives. They clearly have a strong "we don't give wait time estimates" policy because the hostess was slightly rude saying it. I'm sure she says it a lot but it's affecting her customer service skills. Thankfully even though they were very busy at 1:30 on a Sunday we only waited 15 minutes in the car since they will text you. We were excited about the ballpark feel of the menu which did not disappoint. As a party of six the wait time for food was minimal. The fried pickles were good, none of us liked the sauce that came with it. Everyone loved their meal which isn't always easy with 4 boys. I was looking forward to this outing. Instead after all is said n done I'm thankful to be out of there. Handicap parking is at the pick up door all the around the actual entrance. Signage needs addressing/updating. The floors and menu were sticky. My shoes stuck to the floor with each step. We were sat at a low top, on the back corner where the door clings n slams with the wind. It is so loud in there you cannot hear yourself think, much less have a conversation. It was ridiculous. Tv's on. Cool. Music blaring was to much. This is not a place who may have a sensory disorder. There were way to many small plates. Plates galore. Kids grill cheese served in a dog bowl with an extremely hot plate bowl on top of green beans. To hot for a kid! The shoe string French fries are only good when hot. Eat them first. After they cool they turn into rocks. The burgers were really good. The spinach artichoke dip too. I do not intend to return. I may consider it but only for sitting outside though.
