My 87 year old mother read that this was a meat and three with good reviews. She was a little surprised that it's a bar and restaurant. We ordered a hamburger steak, broccoli casserole, fried squash, fried okra, and a four vegetable plate with Mac'n cheese, fried okra, fried squash, and Lima beans. The bartender checked our plates before we left and caught a mistake--totally on the ball. My mother said her hamburger steak was a little salty, but good otherwise. My team picked up from here for lunch while I was in town for business. We called in our order and it was ready when we got there to pick it up. It was highly recommended by several of our co-workers. Many of which regularly order from the meat & three options. Some of my team did as well. I opted for the Bird Dog Sliders (Three slider buns stuffed with hand-breaded, deep-fried chicken tenders, bacon, shredded cheese and drizzled with honey mustard ) with a side of Onion Rings. Not a good first visit but I'll still give them another chance to see if this was a one off thing. Went on a Saturday about 5:45. Place was busy but not crowded yet we waited 10 minutes for a server to arrive. Place our order and then waited 25 minutes for the food. Ordered a salad to come first and asked our server again at the 15 minute mark and yet all the food came at the same time. All of our food was good, not great but it was only slightly warm. Server blamed it on a backup of orders since 2 people were training. As I said I will try it again because the wings are good and if they had been hot they probably would have been very good. The ticket was rung up as red dry rub but we received Buffalo wings, which are always soggy and gross from Bubba's which is why we don't order them. Very disappointing. When I came here with a big party the waiters stood behind the child's table talking about how irritated they were because we were there and that we should have sat with our checks. The wife and I came here for the first time on Saturday night. Have driven by it a zillion times over the last 15 years, finally stopped in to give it a try. Atmosphere is typical of a sports bar. A large bar area with seating as well as a separate area that is eating only. Plenty of TV's in the restaurant, you should have no problem finding your game. Our service was very good and our waitress very pleasant. She kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly even though the place was pretty busy and there were not an abundance of wait staff. Now the food. We had wings with French fries - the fries were good, nothing special but certainly good. The wings, what can I say...they were huge!!! The meatiest wings we have ever had. The sauce was outstanding (they make their own sauces / rubs). We had the dry ranch rub and the BBQ sauce...they were both fantastic. I have eaten wings all over the country, these were the best! And I have been driving by them for 15 years.
