Very nice server! Even though it was busy they helped us get situated quickly. The cheeseburger was really large and the fries were exceptionally great!

My team picked up from here for lunch while I was in town for business. We called in our order and it was ready when we got there to pick it up. It was highly recommended by several of our co-workers. Many of which regularly order from the meat & three options. Some of my team did as well. I opted for the Bird Dog Sliders (Three slider buns stuffed with hand-breaded, deep-fried chicken tenders, bacon, shredded cheese and drizzled with honey mustard ) with a side of Onion Rings. I really liked my choice and look forward to trying other options on future trips. The onion rings were more like what I call onion strings, good but I would have preferred the typical rings. No complaints from anyone else either.

Wow!! First time here, won't be the last!! Very busy, but fast and friendly service. Food was hot, not Luke warm or room temperature which I love! I want my food hot. Huge selection of lunch specials plus the restaurant menu. It's worth the hassle getting in the parking lot as road construction is going on. Very good, even got menus to take back to the hotel for our guests, we will definitely recommend.

Super casual place with really good food! Hub said the fish in the fish and chips was so crunchy and tasty. I loved the bird dog wrap, which was loaded with crispy bacon, and the tots on the side were so delicious, seasoned and crispy on the outside in the most perfect way. Prices are more reasonable than most. Our new go-to place when looking for a great variety of food and fast, friendly service. Go now!

There is a sign at The Southern Growl that reads, in effect, that if your pet or your child…read moreproduces waste on the premises, you are expected to clean it up. I read it three times, not because I misunderstood it, but because I wanted to confirm that it listed pets and children in that order, which it did, and that tells you something about the sequence of problems they've encountered on the lawn, though I've decided not to find out what exactly. With that said, the lawn is not exactly a lawn at all, unless you consider granite rocks as a lawn, which the residents of Elberton, Georgia do as it is considered the "Granite Capital of the World." Elberton this is not. This rocky lawn is to be filled with Bichon Frisés and children in ball caps, and on the afternoon I visited it was doing exactly that. There was a dog near the covered bar area moving through the patio with the serenity of an animal who has never once been told that other people exist. His owner stood nearby holding a beer and looking proud, which is a face I recognized, because I have a son and have stood next to him with that exact expression at least twice in public places where I should have known better. I had the Radiant Positivity, a sour ale at 6%, which sounds like something printed above a middle school guidance counselor's desk but turned out to be genuinely good, all grapefruit and a tartness that knew when to stop. I thought about ordering the Kamp Jam, a 4% light lager described as tasting like shared laughter and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, and decided I wasn't there yet. The owners opened this place in 2014 and have expanded it three times since, which tells you something about Greer that it probably already knows about itself but that the rest of the area is still catching up on. Consequentially, Greer itself has also expanded its waistline 3 times since 2014 but that's a discussion for another time. I ordered a second beer, the Howler Bock, a Helles Bock that the bartender described in terms I didn't fully follow but nodded along to, the way you nod at a doctor who is explaining something you've already decided to accept. It was malty and quieter than the Radiant Positivity, the kind of beer you drink while thinking about something else, which is not an insult. I thought about asking about the Southern Sanctum, an American Tripel, but the afternoon had reached the evening and a point where a Tripel felt like a commitment that deserved more deliberation than I had left in me. I paid my tab, which was reasonable in a way that surprised me given the quality of everything, said goodbye to nobody in particular, and drove home thinking about the Kamp Jam, and whether the unbreakable bonds of friendship were something I'd get to eventually.

I got their classic chicken sandwich, but the scallion aioli stole the show. Easily the best dipping sauce around here. I would say try any beer that appeals to you, and you won't be disappointed. Tried the Earl Of The Abbey first, and wow. A beer with earl grey tea is new for me, but works phenomenally well. Plus the service is also great! Casey, Abby, and Bob were all nice, knowledgeable, and friendly. Give this place a try if you want a relaxing drink, good food, a family-friendly spot, or just an excuse to get out. You won't be disappointed.

Two bays is a two hour minimum. We chose one of their "feasts" for our lunch food choice, which was 6 slider burgers, 18 wings (2x flavors) and a pound of fries. We got two of these at $65 each and had enough for two lunches left over the next day, probably along with a snack or two from the leftovers. The service from Emma as our primary server was great and she had good help from the friendly Bobby. We played 2-3 games of golf. Four of us had our own clubs. Others used the clubs provided. Some of us were golfers and some were not golfers at all, but everyone had fun. The wings were very good and a surprise that they were so good. The slider burgers also were very good. After this experience, and since it is 1.2 miles to my home. I'm signing up for the summer pass for $180 for two hours per day of play, 10% off food and five guests within restricted hours, such as open to 5PM weekdays, but hey, I'm newly retired and can do that. Plus, comfortable seating and climate control is appreciated and adult beverages are available if one wishes to partake. The only caution is to tip on the food and beverage amount and it is not considered necessary to tip on the game play charges. We had a blast!
