Bohemian Lobster Omelette

Our server could have been more attentive, but everything else was great! Lobster Omelet and Blueberry Pancakes were the best in my opinion. Prices are slightly high but expected with the location and ambiance (Grand Bohemian Lodge). I would love to return to try their brunch!

What an amazing day, the kids took me to brunch at Between the trees. The Resturant was clean and nicely decorated. The atmosphere was lovely and quiet. The food was amazing our server Jess was so nice , friendly and happy! Everything was great , the service was outstanding the food was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing! I definitely have to say this place is amazing, everything about it. I couldn't have asked for a better day! I definitely will be back in the future and definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. FYI : if you do a walk in to be seated you have to sit at the bar or outside. If you want indoor seating you have to make a reservation.

This place is hard to get reservations. I was able to snag a brunch reservation for 2:15 pm. I had no idea they closed at 2:30 pm. I asked the server why did we get a 2:15 reservation when we only had 15 minutes to decide. They were busy so the server didn't come back right away. My friend went to the bathroom and the line was long and had to tell her the restaurant was closing soon. My other friend was late and had to call her to make sure she had time to order. My friend and I shared a fried chicken sandwich and fries which was delicious. My other friend had the avocado toast and was good too. The restaurant is pretty but wasn't able to enjoy the ambiance.

Located at the Grand Bohemian Lodge. Between the Trees makes you feel like you're in the mountains literally between the trees. We lucked out and scored a table outside with a view of the falls. It was a beautiful October night to sit outside and enjoy dinner. Our server, Logan, was so kind and attentive. We started off with the Kessler margarita and the lime and coconut to drink. For appetizers, we ordered the bison tartare and the elk carpaccio. Both were good but the bison tartare was our favorite. The bison tartare was paired with chips which was the perfect balance with the bison. For dinner, we both ordered the crispy local mushroom salad served with Bibb lettuce. Oversight on my part, my husband and I didn't think twice about crispy since we were getting a salad. The mushrooms were fried! Still good, but we both thought we were being healthy. Still good we were eating local mushrooms, right?! That's what I tell myself! Did I want dessert?! Yes. We decided not to get it. Next time I getting the carrot spike cake or the espresso ice cream with chocolate brownie. Delicious!

I'll start off by saying this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. From the decor to the setting of being right by the river and hearing that. To the service and the outstanding food. We came here a couple months ago on our honeymoon and just now getting to a review but the staff were so kind and the manager even provided us with a free dessert which was very kind. Our food was outstanding. Personally the best steak I have had in a long time. With flavor that you rarely can get even at other top notch steak places. The drinks and appetizers and well everything just exceeded expectations and we highly recommend coming here for any special occasion. We will be coming back in the future to celebrate!

This restaurant is wonderful! Ambience is wonderful and the food is delicious . Everything we ate here for our anniversary brunch was delicious. Drinks were very good as well not watered down. The view is beautiful we sat outside had a wonderful breeze, very peaceful! Service was great very attentive and pricing was inexpensive. We will definitely return!!!

The service was great, the ambiance is awesome great view and awesome for families. The food one item was very good and everything else was just fine. Overall a bland menu but it was satisfactory, would not regret a visit. The tuna poke - was overall like wet because of the collard greens this was still good just odd with th textures and moisture. Would recommend a try I think the chips they give are great and the tuna was awesome which was why I ordered to begin with The grouper sandwich - feel like this alone is worth coming here for, portion great and prepared both ways was awesome strongly recommend Salad- great place to order a salad the ingredients are taste very fresh She crab soup - is a no for me, maybe for dinner is better tasted like it needed more time to cook out the wine and there was not much crab in it and was very runny Bacon deviled eggs- solid would get again, bland for me but think still a great appetizer

Gorgeous scenic lunch spot. I had a Cobb salad which had great fried green tomato croutons (I wish there were more!). And a Hugo spritz. Hubby had the skirt steak with eggs and potatoes. Lots of steak perfectly done and he had an Italian wine that was refreshing. Very scenic views. One tip---if you're eating outside don't go on the railing/-the sun came and made the experience warm!

Delicious food! Absolutely beautiful decor. Perfect for a date night, celebration- you name it. Everything we ate was an explosion of flavors and sensations in our mouths. Only criticism is I wish they had an onion/vinegar mix for the oysters. The pasta and trout were top notch. The service was friendly, concise. Would definitely return and recommend to a family/friend.

**UPDATE** My husband and I came here to celebrate his promotion at work and based off of our first experience (about a year ago), we assumed we would be getting the same quality of food. We got the lump crab cake, beef tartare, and elk shortloin with Mac and cheese and roasted carrots. Crab cake was ok, the lemon was fairly overwhelming. The beef tartare was too sweet and a small portion. The elk was the worst part of the meal unfortunately. We ordered it med rare and it was overdone and very tough with little flavor. The Mac and cheese was ok but kind of dry. The carrots were very good. Our server was the highlight of our experience. He was very attentive and pleasant. Not sure what happened to this place but probably will not be back.

It was HAPPY BRUNCHING and LUNCHING here! Affordable menu at this time of day. Great river views. Excellent service. High quality cuisine that's hot and fresh. Make a reservation today to get your special treat. Take a pre and post dining stroll afterwards. It does a body, soul, and spirit good

Whipped Goat Cheese

Such a beautiful restaurant! So unique and the setting and views are beautiful. All of the food was excellent. The shrimp and grits and whipped goat cheese were my favorites. Grits were a little corn flavor forward than I prefer but still delicious. The deviled egg people at the table were fans of that option. The slice of duck and mustard seed was very unique. Service was lovely and extremely attentive. Really lovely spot to experience while visiting.

Eggs Benedict*

What a beautiful hotel and restaurant space! My mom and I ate here twice for breakfast. Both times, we selected the same dishes. I had Eggs Benedict and added crab. I substituted Canadian bacon for regular and had it done extra crispy. It came with breakfast potatoes. My only complainant is yesterday, my meal had more paprika or seasoning on the eggs and today, there was none. Consistency is important to me when deciding if I want to eat somewhere again. My mom picked the blueberry pancakes. The space was relaxing, service was excellent, and the meals were delicious. Yes, it's higher end prices but this felt like a NYC experience so the prices were much less than we pay when eating there. Also, they validate the valet parking which made it very convenient.

Really good food that we enjoyed thoroughly. Very interesting menu-fusion of many cuisines featuring many ingredients that found their way into places one would not expect. With happy results! I had the salmon moussaka. The salmon was delicious-slightly blackened. Great quality salmon. Paired nicely with the lovely tzatziki and accompanied by salad heavy with toasted garbanzos and mucho quinoa, 'cukes, endive-heavy greens and a spot on bright dressing. Sister had black bean burger on dressed bun that was accompanied by perfectly prepared steak fries with house made ketchup that had a slight heat to it. Really good as well. Kitchen staff nailed the preparation and everything came out perfectly. First meal out in Greenville (as we cook). I could not have been more pleased. Great value for the price. Certainly not inexpensive, but not outrageous. I will definitely be "stealing" this moussaka dish and presentation for my wife the minute I return home! Menu is in transition per our wait person, and one interesting dish was not available. And a croquette dish had been substituted the croquettes for a latke-like pancake (I presume)-not a croquette. Extremely friendly to the veg crowd! Seems like a great kitchen and well run restaurant. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is very inviting... clean lines.... clean restaurant... terrific attentive service. We looked for a restaurant in the Greenville area that offered vegan and non vegan options. So this fit the bill. Richard said the veggie burger was a bit too soft for his liking. I say that in reference to a vegan burger we had in Berlin that was quite meaty in texture. I think using pea protein really makes a difference in texture... it is used more overseas than in the US. I had the zucchini and potato arepa. It was very tasty and quite filling!!!! A little too heavy for me for lunch... very hearty option. Our waitress was right there when we needed her, kept our water glasses filled, which is important to me because I drink a lot of water at meals. Our daughter had the Brussel sprouts, which she said were delicious. Serving sizes are good!!

The atmosphere is cozy, low-lit, and perfect for date night, a celebration, or honestly just when you want a really good meal with phenomenal service. It's not huge, and judging by how packed it was when we arrived, I'd definitely recommend reservations. We had one of the later seating times near closing, but the place was still buzzing. There's even a second room with a gorgeous long bar that gives off upscale neighborhood hangout vibes. Service was flawless from the start. We were seated immediately and had water in our glasses within minutes. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and somehow had us in and out in about 40 minutes without ever making us feel rushed. That's an art form. Drink-wise, my boyfriend was happy to find some local beers after our brewery-hopping adventure earlier in the day. I ordered a cocktail that sounded good and asked if they could make it spicy... maybe throw in some jalapeños or something. They didn't just accommodate, they elevated. They swapped in a spicy-infused spirit, and it paired perfectly with my wood-fired roasted corn pizza topped with cilantro and jalapeño crema. Absolute flavor bomb that paired perfectly! My boyfriend's meatloaf with mushrooms and mashed potatoes was equally impressive. No notes, just clean plates. We started with the ceviche, and it was outstanding. Fresh, bright, and so flavorful that we started dipping our homemade pita into it. Speaking of the pita, that was honestly my only minor miss (and it wasn't even a miss lol). As a carb enthusiast, I wanted a little more salt and flavor, but that's nitpicking in what was otherwise an exceptional meal. Hearth & Herron is the kind of place every small town wishes it had. Thoughtful food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that punches way above its weight class. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Hendersonville and recommend you do the same!

My hubby ordered the shrimp and grits - it's a different take on the dish than most "shrimp and grits" and it was outstanding. There is limited outside seating so we were glad to get a table. Inside seating seemed sterile and was quite loud. I am glad our meal and table were great because the service was not. The restaurant appeared normally busy and we saw the other servers regularly checking in on their customers. Our server, Brianna, greeted us with an attitude and it continued for the entirety of the meal. She never checked in to see if we needed anything. Once when we were able to get her attention and asked for more water, she literally looked at our water bottle, saw it was about 1/4 full, rolled her eyes and told us she would get us more when she got a chance. When she did bring a new water bottle, she placed it on our table with the same attitude she arrived with and never spoke a word. Her attitude only improved when she appeared with her electronic device happily announcing our bill. We had to ask to see the ticket - we always check to make sure everything is accounted for. She seemed annoyed but complied. We would definitely eat here again because the food was that good. We would not stay though if our only server option was Brianna.

So many choices. We shared the Brussels sprouts and a shrimp lettuce wrap. The sprouts were fantastic. The lettuce wrap I do not recommend. The shrimp had no flavor. They should do a spicy Asian sauce on them. I got the chopped salad as a starter. Loved the dried cranberries. Dressing was a little light. Also, very hard to eat with a fork. :-) For the main, I got the filet cooked medium rare. I was eyeing a $100 A2 ribeye but I was someone's guest and did not want to overstep. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.
