This restaurant is always a good option. We've eaten here several times for breakfast. This week we ate there for lunch. The hubby, mother-in-law, and I each had one of the daily specials. Reasonably priced, good portions, and the server we had was excellent!

Mediocre is a kind word to use here. Cobbler was burned. Bananas in the pudding were black. Rolls were dry. Smothered grilled chicken was dry and hardly had any cheese. When I asked for something to "smother" the chicken, I was told that a side of gravy was an extra charge. The fried squash was freezer burned. Just nope...don't waste your calories! Also, the server used the same tea pitcher that had been sitting on our table to fill up another guest's cup. So unsanitary!

I ordered a take out meal for my sister on her birthday, and for myself as well. My sister wanted the fried grouper with Mac and cheese, rice and gravy with a yeast roll. My order was fried chicken tenders, fried okra, mac and cheese and a yeast roll. The meal was only ok to me, the chicken color was red as if they had put to much paprika in the coating, not much flavor to the chicken even though I recooked it, it was still a little on the tough side. The mac and cheese didn't have much flavor either, I had to "doctor" that up. The yeast roll I only took a bite and was done. This was my first time eating from Pete's since their move to this location, I think this was my last visit.

Grandparents took us before we left for home for lunch here! It's a pretty good place. Surprisingly cheap and if you want a good hearty meal or a chili dog this is the place to go. We had great service from Mandi and the fact that they had a Greek option, for me was a huge score. ( I'm the only one in my family who loves green, fyi it's lamb too! It was sooo good). Thank you for a great visit! The only complaint I have is the cobbler is super super dry it's missing that juice or something and the Mac n cheese is also very dry. But all in all I LOVED the gyro and the tzatziki sauce was one of the best I've had!

Like other commenters in here the food was great. I really liked the fresh squeezed OJ and all I could say when the ONE pancake was brought out was, "Holy Moley!" It was HUGE! The only thing keeping me from giving more than three stars was it the service; it was lacking. In these times of Covid to have a waitress come up to your table with her mask under her chin is not good. I had to ask for menus, maybe we looked like regulars. Most of the food came out pretty quickly, but by the time my son got his toast he had almost eaten everything else.

Love it here! It's an old style diner, been around for a very long time. Food is excellent, portion served fills one up and price is inexpensive. I had the beef tips on rice, collard greens and sweet potato souffle. Beef tips were tender and juicy. The brown sauce that comes with it wasn't overly salted. The sides were tasty too. The rubber tree plant indoors is years old, sprawls the width of the store and then some. We enjoyed the experience here, looking forward to drop by many more times. The only down side for me was that the smell of the food was in the air. Left with a satisfied tummy but my jacket smelled of Pete's #6

This is overall a good American restaurant that serves a plethora of favorites. For this trip, I got the "fishy Friday" special that includes two pieces of fried flounder and two sides. I got the fried okra and fried squash. Ordering online was a breeze but pickup can take between 5-10 minutes on occasions. I recommend at least trying Pete's a few times to see which of their menu items you like.

Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and skillet potatoes. 5.99. This place is absolute best.

Great experience, good value, good food. Considerably better than many similar places in the area. Good service, also.

Very friendly staff, and good food. I've never been inside, we get our order to go, but I would recommend this place. :)

This place doesn't disappoint. I had forgotten they change the menu 3 times a day based on the fresh ingredients they have on hand. This day they had a brisket sandwich with fries, which I substituted for a delicious garden salad. You really can't go wrong.

We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

The staff is so friendly and the hubby and I love that they use local farms to supply their ingredients. This eatery can best be described as cozy, rustic, vintage-inspired with a huge dash of Southern hospitality. The hubby ordered the Farmer's Basket Crepe with coffee and big slice of homemade cheesecake topped with strawberries. (Yes, I know...who has dessert after breakfast...my hubby, that's who. ). I had the Gitron Bleu Crepe, a side of bacon and coffee. It was soooooo good! The lunch special was Pinto Beans and Cornbread with Slaw. That sounded so yummy that I got two orders to go. And, of course, I had to spend a few minutes checking out what was "new" at the vintage inspired shop in the same space.

It is a bit crowded in the line to order but it gives you time to stare at the delicious bakery items they offer. I tried a lemon cookie and vanilla confetti cupcake with chocolate frosting. Both were perfection. My mom and I travel together and always try out bakeries wherever we go and this one just moved to the top 3 on my list. The menu has both sweet and savory crepes and it seems the menu changes seasonally. There was a little bit of a wait for my food to arrive but it was a nice day and I sat outside with an iced tea. All of the workers seemed happy and friendly. My only complaint is how I'm now craving everything on the menu lol. I will be back soon!
