This restaurant is always a good option. We've eaten here several times for breakfast. This week we ate there for lunch. The hubby, mother-in-law, and I each had one of the daily specials. Reasonably priced, good portions, and the server we had was excellent!

Mediocre is a kind word to use here. Cobbler was burned. Bananas in the pudding were black. Rolls were dry. Smothered grilled chicken was dry and hardly had any cheese. When I asked for something to "smother" the chicken, I was told that a side of gravy was an extra charge. The fried squash was freezer burned. Just nope...don't waste your calories! Also, the server used the same tea pitcher that had been sitting on our table to fill up another guest's cup. So unsanitary!

I ordered a take out meal for my sister on her birthday, and for myself as well. My sister wanted the fried grouper with Mac and cheese, rice and gravy with a yeast roll. My order was fried chicken tenders, fried okra, mac and cheese and a yeast roll. The meal was only ok to me, the chicken color was red as if they had put to much paprika in the coating, not much flavor to the chicken even though I recooked it, it was still a little on the tough side. The mac and cheese didn't have much flavor either, I had to "doctor" that up. The yeast roll I only took a bite and was done. This was my first time eating from Pete's since their move to this location, I think this was my last visit.

Love it here! It's an old style diner, been around for a very long time. Food is excellent, portion served fills one up and price is inexpensive. I had the beef tips on rice, collard greens and sweet potato souffle. Beef tips were tender and juicy. The brown sauce that comes with it wasn't overly salted. The sides were tasty too. The rubber tree plant indoors is years old, sprawls the width of the store and then some. We enjoyed the experience here, looking forward to drop by many more times. The only down side for me was that the smell of the food was in the air. Left with a satisfied tummy but my jacket smelled of Pete's #6

Grandparents took us before we left for home for lunch here! It's a pretty good place. Surprisingly cheap and if you want a good hearty meal or a chili dog this is the place to go. We had great service from Mandi and the fact that they had a Greek option, for me was a huge score. ( I'm the only one in my family who loves green, fyi it's lamb too! It was sooo good). Thank you for a great visit! The only complaint I have is the cobbler is super super dry it's missing that juice or something and the Mac n cheese is also very dry. But all in all I LOVED the gyro and the tzatziki sauce was one of the best I've had!

Like other commenters in here the food was great. I really liked the fresh squeezed OJ and all I could say when the ONE pancake was brought out was, "Holy Moley!" It was HUGE! The only thing keeping me from giving more than three stars was it the service; it was lacking. In these times of Covid to have a waitress come up to your table with her mask under her chin is not good. I had to ask for menus, maybe we looked like regulars. Most of the food came out pretty quickly, but by the time my son got his toast he had almost eaten everything else.

There is a reason they have been in Easley as long as they have. Burgers are the best you will find and the dinners are just home made

Go ahead, open the door and you will see big families, friends and what appears to be regulars all enjoying their meals and each other. Staff was extremely fun and made me feel right at home. This restaurant reminds me to NEVER judge a restaurant from the outside! Wow... had the steak ribeye. Fantastic! First time I have had a steak cooked perfectly at a restaurant in a long, long time! For a two top we had to wait an hour to get an appetizer that came out cold, then another 45 minutes to have the main course sent out. It came out cold and they forgot one of the two dishes entirely. We were then told the order for the second person would be out shortly and waited another 20 minutes, after which we asked for the check and left. The wait staff was terrible, the bar tender was on her phone and not checking on people at the bar or taking on the task of pouring a beer, for which I had to wait 25 minutes after ordering while she was on her phone. When the bartender was not on her phone she was making an attempt at flirting with another worker in the building. Overall, I would highly recommend going anywhere else nearby. The only positive aspect here would be the environment. It was decent and clean. So I would say if you are interested in going here you should only go for the $2.75 beers during happy hour. Cheers, Steddy's. I will never go back for this overpriced miserable food.

Their Cheesesteaks are superb either way; "Wid or wideout". Now, if they could just get Frank's soda (black cherry .... Mmmmmm). I tried their hoagie one time and I wasn't super crazy about it. Could've been an off day. One problem with parking at their place in the Silos, it is very limited and neighboring shops are not too friendly to non customers using their parking.

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing.
