Good food fast. It is the only place I can get Orange Beef in town. The food is crisper and you stay and eat by the way.

After having Panda Express I had a huge craving for orange chicken, and since there wasn't one anywhere close, we went here instead. All I gotta say is it wasn't the same fam. It tasted more like general tsos chicken than orange chicken. It just wasn't sour enough. Not saying it was bad cause the flavors were still good, but it wasn't as good as Panda Express. Plus the breading wasn't crunchy enough. Also got the hot and sour soup and that wasn't sour enough either. Price was cheap though so I'm not complaining, at least not on that point. read more

1st time here. Just moved to the area and so far restaurants are tasteless and over fried . The " biscuit body " these locals have, shows me that fast food and generic ethnic food here rules the stomachs of Easley. We ordered : orange chicken, Egg rolls, sweet n sour chicken, crab rangoons, and chow mien. What we received: orange chicken was super dark sauced with an after taste of orange peel and teriyaki sauce combined. Zero reflection of " orange chicken ". The chicken was tiny popcorn ball sized pieces 60% fry batter . I was so unhappy with it I ate 5 bites then thew the rest in the garbage... Egg rolls were 100% mushy inside and zero flavor and burnt on the outside... Crab rangoons flavorless . Sweet n sour chicken was the same color as the orange chicken.. ( dark brown ).... My 11 yr old ate it cause he was hungry but it looked and tasted bland and not SWEET ...... I'll stick to cooking at home if this is what Easley is calling " good " Chinese food.. Will never return. I don't know anybody in this area yet so no worry about me spreading bad views of this place.... But I had to write this review .. and I never rag on places like this but I spent over 60$ here for this food and left pissed AF.... Waste! read more

I really do try to like this place, but it just isn't good, and we have tried many times over many years: mushy egg rolls, bland egg drop soup, can't even with the pot stickers, too sweet and stringy Mongolian Beef and horrible gravy with the egg foo young ....They are really nice, but I just can't pay for nice. I'm not impressed with this place at all. I wanted some lo mien noodles and since I was near I thought I'll try them. Bigger mistake ever. I should have just made the at-home. The word Express should have stopped me. But I thought how and can you mess up noodles? It was the worst and the egg roll was even more disgusting! One bite of the egg roll and couldn't even tell what was inside. I highly do not recommend this place. Have eaten here numerous times and until my visit earlier this week would have given it a 4. This week I ordered a dish with shrimp. It tasted of ammonia which means it is going bad. Had the same problem the last time I had a shrimp dish a few months ago. I will still eat there as the shredded beef, fried dumplings and crab rangoon are great. read more

There are a few Chinese/Asian Fusion places in the area, but Asian Express's food is better quality than the others! Makes it more worth the drive out to pick it up. We've had positive experiences here, even though they forgot to include something once, they were kind about it and did the right thing. (We went back and picked it up at no additional cost.) They're fast and friendly, and you can even order online instead of over the phone. They do not deliver, which is unfortunate, but no other Asian restaurants around the are do, either. read more

Food is okay....nothing special. VERY expensive! I had the Hibachi steak and the ratio of rice to small, tough steak bits was 80% to 20%. Mostly rice. Not worth the high prices! I expected a lot better quality and flavor for those prices. read more

We love Asian Express! Their crab Rangoon is some of the best I've had, and I love the hibachi. My husband always gets the General Tsao's chicken, and they give you a TON! They're always quick with food, and are very nice. read more

I can say that they're even better than Panda House before they closed. I always get the sesame chicken and it's always the best. They are always clean and they don't skimp out on the food either. I love this Place! We get Chinese take out about once per month. We used to go to another local Easley place all the time. Then, all of a sudden they began doing their Dumplings differently (on a side-note: a lot of Asian/Chinese places have begun doing this over the last two years, and I cannot fathom why??? A thicker dumpling skin makes them horrible and very un-appetizing! I cannot stand it! It is just wrong. That is NOT how they are supposed to be done. There is no justification for it.) So, as you can tell Dumplings are a main staple when I get Chinese take out. If a place can't get the dumplings right, I don't want to eat there. So, we started looking for a new go-to place for Chinese take out in Easley & we found this place. It is excellent! Everything that I've had there has been great! Granted, I don't break out and try very many new things ... there are only about 8 different menu items we order from any Chinese place, and we regularly stick with what we know we like. We have ate there a/or gotten take out probably 12-15 times now. Below is a list of what we have had from here so far, that I can remember. All have been great! And, btw... The Dumplings are Fantastic! They're good steamed or fried. My wife prefers steamed; I like fried. They do them here at Asian Express like they're supposed to be done! I.E. In an thin wrapper/skin. They haven't switched to the gummy, chewy, awful, horribly thick skins/wrappers/dough that many very stupid Chinese places have switched to! They also don't deep fry them like some lazy/stupid Chinese places have begun doing. Asian express pan sears them (if you order them fried)... like a traditional pot-sticker SHOULD be done! The ones here are excellent. The dipping sauce they serve with the Dumplings is very good as well -- I think it is a ponzu sauce; if not its very similar to that. I put it on everything. Also good here: General Tso's Chicken, Veg Lo Mein, pork fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Honey Chicken, Egg drop soup. see we don't branch out too much! I love this place though!
