Prices were decent for what it was. My chili oil did leak in the bag so I had to get a new one but it was fine. Great quality standard Chinese Fare. S/O loves the Pork Fried rice, the best around. I love the Beef Low Mein, beef is so tender, really a great change from most places. Excellent Pork ribs. First time here and it was a take out. We were impressive with the combination plate with entree, soup and egg roll, not to forget the Rangoon. Btw, service was pretty fast. They said 10 minutes but it was faster than that. There's no way the box could be more filled. The soup was the best ever. It's hard to judge based on food eaten 20 minutes after it was fresh. The Tso chicken could have been crispier and more sauce but it was nice big chunks of chicken. The price was the best part. $12.75 for the whole plate. That's a great deal. Well, I had high hopes since I finally found a Chinese restaurant that delivers to my house. As I'm sure you can tell from the one star; I wasn't a huge fan of the cold Pot Stickers, "Crab" Rangoons, or Singapore Rice Noodle. It wasn't just cold, the food wasn't edible and I have, on a dare eaten a Hawaiian roll that had been run over by cars all day in a grocery stores parking lot. Anyway, I digress. I wish I could have just given the delivery driver the $20 minimum fee and not received any food. My trash can is full, yet my stomach is empty. Lesson learned. read more

I have been ordering from Grand China for 9 years and have always gotten good, fresh, hot food. I ordered tonight; chicken vegetable, egg rolls and pot stickers. When my food finally arrived everything was cold. Not one warm item in the order. I called the restaurant to let them know and they acted like they absolutely couldn't care less! I ordered takeout online last night for pick up "ASAP"; never once do they tell you when to pick up. They forgot my order of crab rangoon, and the pot stickers were cold, which was my whole meal since they forgot the crab rangoon. The General Tsao's tasted like ketchup. The eggroll was just cabbage inside, it was okay. The egg drop soup was good, which was the only saving grace. What an expensive letdown. read more

I went to Grand China last night with my friend and her grandparents and we got Chicken Lomain and some other stuff and we asked for rice and they didn't give any rice to us like NO single drop of rice. That is my only complaint at least for now. But besides that the food is really good I suggest the chicken lomain. I totally recommend this place but ASK FOR RICE AND MAKE SURE THEY PUT IT IN THERE BEFORE YOU PULL OFF! read more

I couldn't believe what these guys are selling to people. It's unsanitary. The French fries made my 4 year old daughter sick . They were drenched in oil and they stunk. Really soggy. The chicken wings the same. They smelled just as awful as the fries . They came out dark drenched in oil . You can tell they don't clean their fryers because the food tastes like shit . Their rice is also awful . The vegetables on the rice were frozen hard and when I complained to her about the rice she said that's how it's supposed to be . I've eaten in plenty of Chinese restaurants and I've never had frozen vegetables. Definitely will never eat there again. She said I don't know what good food is . Tells you a lot about her. When the original owner retired to China, he should have done Greer the favor of closing up shop. That it changed hands is just a sad constant reminder of the awesome food that once was enjoyed there. It gets two stars, because it's definitely not the worst in Greer. But, in comparison to what it once was...... It definitely falls very short. Over the summer, with my parents visiting and in need of a quick dinner I ordered take out. Nearly $60 in takeout in fact. Most of it wound up several days later in the trash, when no one wanted to eat it. It was very upsetting. Even the "free" gallon of sweet tea they sent me home with went down the drain. Now the only decent place around here is in Taylors, and that's not convenient to us. It's a bit depressing. read more

Two stars because I've made the choice to eat from here more than once. The food here is bland, at its best. They give you WAY too much rice....never thought I would say that about any place. It isn't the best Chinese take-out I've ever had, but it is the best one that is a reasonable distance from my house. Normally I'm a General Tso's kind of girl, but I really like their Chicken Lo Mein. Everything I've had there has been pretty decent, but I don't recommend the egg rolls. They are too greasy for my liking. I don't think a whole lot more needs to be said about a Chinese take-out place.... they are pretty straightforward: good or bad? Oh, I guess they do have indoor seating a swell if you did want to dine in. read more

I really enjoy the Kung Pao Chicken. Thick sauce and lots of flavor. The portion is large and it's inexpensive.

We used to go often but we stopped because I thought was more American food than Chinese. I stopped today for lunch but things really haven't changed. The food was not hot and there is still more American than Chinese. I don't think I will return again. read more

Got to try every Chinese place I can!!! Checked this one out and was pleased over all. We ordered a lunch General Tso's Chicken special with fried rice and egg roll. The chicken was really good, had a little heat but the flavor was on it. The rice was mediocre, could have used veggies and some roast pork. The egg roll was crispy and good. Could have used a little more pork in it, but it was still good. I would recommend this place! read more

I love this place and been going for years with takeout. The young lady usually works taken the orders but this time it was a young man. I asked for extra and got changed for it but it was not in the food at all. $3 is not a lot of money but when you add it to a bill of $13 to make $16 it does matter.
