We went to Red Crab based on a friend saying the food was good. It didn't start out very well...(1) the lady who seated us had on a bandana but not like in a stylish way. It looked the way I wear one when I'm cleaning my house. (2) We were going to order some drinks but the bar was closed and only canned or bottled beer was available so that was a bummer. (3) We could BARELY understand what the server was saying and she was American ‍. (4) The menu was ok, you can choose different items like a mix and match boil and we ordered crab leg boil and shrimp boil which came out relatively quick in a puffed up plastic wrap. It comes with 2 small potatoes and 1 piece of corn mixed in. The food was very good!! No complaints on that at all. Nicely seasoned and plenty of juice to sop up the corn and potatoes with. This place was kind of hidden, in the corner. The Fried Catfish and Fries were delicious! The Catfish was NOT greasy at all! Prices were decent. Definitely recommend! As far as the service goes, the workers seemed friendly. The ambiance in the restaurant was calming with the sound of water from their indoor-like pond. I have been to this restaurant numerous of times over the years and have always had a nice experience. However, tonight's visit has almost guaranteed I will not be back. First it started off with not being served or seeing our waitress for at least 10 minutes, mine you it was not busy surprisingly. Then when our waitress came she did not apologize for the wait. Next when she brought us the food we were missing shrimp out of our order and after correcting it, it still seemed like it was skimpy in sauce and protein. If that wasn't bad enough our server kept disappearing for long periods of time. When I attempted to address management about the issue, they didn't apologize or make up for the horrible service. When time to check out our bill had extra mussels even though we didn't order those. So overall this was a highly disappointing time and I don't know if I will be back. read more

The space in Red Crab is very impressive, once you walk in there's a huge boat where koi fish can be fed! Our waitress was fun and had lots of great recommendations we considered as we were deciding on what to order. We decided on clams and mussels with the everything sauce with Cajun fries. Flavor was pretty spot on however maybe could have had more butter? Otherwise everything was up to par! We caught our server on a bad day because our food came really late, luckily she kept us on the loop and explained everything to us. Zero stars if possible. I picked up an order only to get home and the chicken wings are not done. My 13 year old ate some of the chicken not realizing that the bright pink color means it's not done. I called the restaurant to let them know to which the restaurant manager said I would need to bring the chicken back for them to recook. I explained that my son ate off of 4 of the wings already and I'm letting them know. Manager then stated she didn't know what else I wanted her to say. The food is pretty good. The crab is well cooked and the sauce is great, the juicy special was flavorful and perfect with the corn and potatoes, mussels are meh. The service is below average. I wouldn't recommend this place just based on the service alone, we waited forever for our check and the server was about to leave the restaurant without giving it to us. The restaurant itself says is dirty, the tables have napkins left under them and the napkin holders are sticky and gross. Writing all over the walls and furniture from floor to ceiling, some explicit stuff is written in plain view. No bar. Sunday @6pm after going to Home Depot next door , I figured I would like to try this place . The hostess , Mych, was very attentive and well informed . I told her it's my first time and explained the food - seafood boil . Was seated and my server was named Tequila. The tables had this paper cover and I can see why . I ordered @6:10pm. I ordered the Monday special : 1/2 lb black mussels, 1/2 lb shrimp , and 1/2 lb snow crab legs. Four choices of sauces : Cajun , Lemon pepper , garlic butter , and "juicy special "( all of the above ). I chose the juicy special . Next was spicy level , I chose medium . After 12 minutes or so , the food arrived in a plastic bag. The server mixed it and placed on my table . I was provided with a plastic bib, gloves (which I didn't use ), wipes , etc . As soon as I opened the bag , the flavorful aroma was so good . Lotsa garlic and definitely Cajun in flavor also . All the food were on point . The sauce tho , ohhhh the sauce, was euphoric . Some potatoes and a half corn on the cob . You can see my photos and yes I finished them all . I definitely recommend this place . Hostess , Mych, was helpful . My server , Tequila , was awesome. It's a really good place if you're going to go in and sit down but if you're gonna order online or pick it up expect to get ripped off, paid $30 for a weekend special just for it to come with three bite-size potatoes, barely any shrimp one corn, one cluster crab and lobster; normally I don't have any bad experiences with them and I've normally got a decent size bag in the past but here recently when I order my bags are lighter and lighter, to pay that much and not get a good amount is ridiculous to me, id rather go to red crab where i get what i pay for! read more

We ordered and shared the raw oyster very delicious full of flavor highly recommand for the oyster lovers out there. Apparently you can adjust the heat but we went with mild and it was lightly hot but with plenty of flavor. You can get any daily special on any day . We went with the Thursday Special. 1# of crab legs and 1/2# of shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. I wish they had, maybe they did and I didn't ask, something besides the metal crab crackers to help get the meat out of the shells. The corn and potatoes were delicious in the sauce.
