I want to preface by saying the worker that was completing my purchase was fine. This review is based off the other lady (taller) that worked there as well as petcos policy. I went today (02-15-26) around 12:15pm. I went in and was going to buy these ear drops. I asked the worker who was helping me if they price match. She said ONLY petco. Perfect! The item in question was on sale on petcos website. Then she said I had to give her my number to get the price match! I was reluctant because I don't want emails. She said we could skip that part. Perfect! I show her the exact picture attached. She says it says only online. I say oh, there's two discounts only one says online. She says it's petcos policy. I said ok.... So if I order this for pickup and come back in an hour... I could get the discount then? She says yup! I tell her how it would be an inconvenience to have to come back when originally she said they could price match. The taller lady I think wearing glasses (I say I think because not once did she ever offer a solution or help me) hears me say that and says "if you get emails you should've gotten that" while she's walking around. Never stopped to explain or anything. I tell her how I didn't want emails (remember I had already said that to the first worker) and she's like "yup! Only online" as she's still walking around. I tell the worker who's at the register with me it makes no sense and the other worker is still talking as she's now walking away and in the most condescending way says "have a great day thanks for stopping by" as I'm still completing my purchase. I'm like wow she's rude I don't want to come back here. The lady asks if I want my receipt I said no and quickly left because of how uncomfortable the taller girl made me feel. If I absolutely didn't need the item, I would've left without making a purchase. Her attitude was 0-100 and I wasn't even being helped by her. Such a weird and odd interaction hopefully she doesn't treat guests like this on a normal basis.

I would not recommend this company. I hired this company…read morewith one goal in mind and the person that came out (I think he was the owner) had convinced me that he could do what I asked of him for my dog Bogey. At the time I hired this company for training, Bogey was 16 months old. I'm not expecting Bogey to be Lassie or anything close, and I'm not blaming the trainer or any of his employees for Bogey's behavior.  A little bit of background on Bogey. He was traumatized by someone when he was 6 months old while at a doggie day care.  Bogey and my son-in-law, who my dog used to get along great with, changed after the incident at the day care. My daughter and son-in-law were there to watch the presentation for the training company. The trainer saw Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, obvious signs of fear and apprehension, and convinced us he could change Bogey's behavior. My daughter and I signed up with this company, feeling assured the trainer could change this behavior in Bogey. It was a $2700 investment combined. Due to Bogey's reaction to my son-in-law, my main concern was to get help in changing this behavior and stressed this concern with the trainer. Unfortunately the sessions seem to only focus on sitting, staying and placing. Honestly, I became frustrated with them only "training" me on how to teach Bogey how to sit, stay etc and NEVER addressing the reason I hired them. This is what caused me to quit going to there "group lessons". I felt it was truly a waste of my time and apparently not a concern of their's either, having paid $2700 for a lifetime of training. In addition, no effort has been made on their part to reach out to me to find out why I quit going. Now that I am living with my daughter and her family,  Bogey is traumatized throughout the day. When he sees my son-in-law, who works from home, he will hide behind furniture and won't socialize with other family members. This behavior only happens around my son-in-law. Bogey is so fearful he will urinate in the house and has even done so on my granddaughter.  I can't afford to hire another trainer now and am questioning if this company lacks concern for their clients or possibly it's a lack of knowledge on how to properly train a dog with behavioral issues. This has put me in a difficult situation and I now have to decide whether to let this trauma continue daily, not what I want, or find a new home for Bogey, which I also do not want. That's no life for any family member. So if you're looking for someone to teach you how to say "sit", "stay" or "place", this may be the company I would recommend but I feel that they may be limited in their training skills. If you're looking for a company that will follow up with you, you might want to keep looking for someone that cares about results and accomplishments. There were many other things that showed lack of attention on their part but the one thing I was hoping for never was addressed even when I brought it up. They either lack the skill to train out behavior issues or they simply don't care. If you look at their own post on Facebook, their only focused is on sit, stay and come. No mention of training out negative behaviors. No success stories about other training issues.

Raymond was thorough and explained things with care and patience on how to continue their training at home, answered any question and concerns we had and provided us with feedback when he had us practice the tools he used with our girls. Roberts and took advantage of their discounted training rate. I like to say my little one had NO manners. She was exhibiting a lot of concerning behaviors that you can't discredit come with adopting a rescue dog. We already had a 4 year old husky with us that we've had since he was a puppy, but that didn't stop the terrier from coming into the house like she was the owner. She was very anxious and scared and it seemed to be reflected in her trying to be dominant and somewhat aggressive with our dog and visitors to the house. It was a defeating feeling that first month before I was able to get her into training. She nipped, barked, was always afraid, would freeze when I would leave the house, and couldn't be left alone. I really want to thank George because he is so good at recognizing dog behaviors and probably more important, human behaviors with their dogs! The class setup was only about 6 people, enough to learn from others but also not so big that any dog didn't get the attention they need/deserve. George taught ME some dog behaviors and traits and I've been able to extend what he taught during the class to outside of the classes to better train my dog. I think the most important thing he taught me was to pay attention to how I'm reinforcing certain behaviors, because we are reinforcing (positively or negatively) whether we know it or not. Now my dog is so much more confident and excited to follow directions since we finished training. Everyone who met her when I first got her has noticed and mentioned the positive shift in her mannerisms and personality since training. I wish they had more training levels available because I would happily join another group lesson with George!

We shopped around and talked to several trainers and they all wanted to do a boot camp situation. Jason could have pushed for a board and train/boot camp option but he let us know that doing private lessons (very affordable when purchased as a package) would give us the best results for taking care of her issues. We appreciated that Jason didn't push for the highest cost option and wanted to give us the skills to work with our dog and her problems in normal day to day life out in the "real" world. He's always been really patient with all our questions and has been more than happy to field questions about our other dogs and things we can improve on with them outside of working with our "problem" dog without asking for additional compensation. As I said, if you're looking for a dog trainer who cares about your dog, uses positive reinforcement methods and gives you the skills to make your dog the best they can be then Jason is your guy. He does private and group training several times a week at Mary Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I almost forgot to mention that he posts videos that reinforce lessons you get in person.
