    Jasper, our well trained dog

We had our hands full with our second Belgian Malinois, Jasper. Realizing our last girl was when we were in our 30's. Now in our early 50's we were afraid we bit off more than we could chew! But in came Leave The Leash. So professional, and so sure that we could get her walking without pulling and not jumping in no time, we went to work. We have referred many people here and we will always recommend! We thought the initial cost was high, but let me tell you, for the amount of training we have received it is SO worth every penny! We had one on one for weeks, then Jasper graduated to group class. We still take her 1-2 times a week and we all enjoy it so much! We put her collar on and tell her she is going to work and she gets so excited!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The trainers are great, we love it!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This training has really changed my dog behavior, I been able to take my dog to dog parks and other event without him getting out of control. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was so good I enrolled all my other dogs into the program[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I am THRILLED with the behavior improvements of my little dogs! Leave the Leash methods are amazingly effective and my little ones' lives and mine are so much happier and safer. Here's a pic of them NOT darting out the door, one of many improvements.

I have to say that Leave the Leash has made a huge difference in my rescue dog. She is well behaved at dog friendly restaurants and a fun dog to hike with. She listened off leash at Huntington Dog Beach and had a blast. She use to walk well on a leash for a while and then flip out and run from side to side. She provided a lot of entertainment to people walking by and I would get frustrated trying to stop her. She has been training since April 14th and I have to say, yesterday it may have saved her life. There was a loose pit bull that had just killed a cat and bit a man and we had a 4-7 minute encounter with the dog. Several times it approached and Gidget sat calmly at my side. I was blowing a whistle and Gidget still stayed calmly at my side. She did start to bark and I used the quiet command and she obeyed. The encounter ended with Gidget on a step and me in front of her and the pit bull sat down 1 foot away from us. The man who's cat was killed and already bit came over and grabbed the pit and put it in his yard with the other pit it was loose with. Thank you Mackenzie and Kris for training Gidget and of course training.

Here she is in the snow staying when we tell her to

Leave the Leash was recommended to us by a friend with dogs and we decided to invest with the 8 day jump start program. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our Ellie has been so great through the process. While she still has her personality and her own desires, she does a great job listening and allowing us to show her how to have a good time without having to fight her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the trainers have been excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only negative thing I can think of is that she happy pees each time she sees one of them, but I don't blame the trainers, lol.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have helped us understand what she's wanting and how to redirect her into something more appropriate. The group classes have been wonderful, too!

We're so happy we found Leave the Leash program. Luca has progressed a lot with his behavior since we took personal classes and the group classes. All of the Trainers are great. We definitely recommend these classes for all dog owners!

This has been the best money I have ever spent. Cookie is a new dog and now she has a lifelong friend in Brian!

Our Golden-doodles are amazing dogs but definitely needed some training. We had issues with them jumping on our friends and family, not listening to us when needed and pulling at the leash when walking. We have completed the 8 day jump start training with both of our dogs and are now attending group training. All of the Leave the Leash trainers are amazing! We have recently had our family over for Super Bowl and this was the first time we were able to have our dogs hang out with our family without worrying about them jumping on everyone and being overly excited. This program works! Money well spent. Thank you Leave the Leash!

We LOVE Leave the Leash! All the employees care about your dog and know exactly what will help to make your dog a better listener. My puppy, Dixie was a maniac and would pull me while we went on walks. But with the gentle and thoughtful training from Leave the Leash trainers, we both enjoy our walks now. I opted for the training package of having trainers come to our house and it was the best experience. They would take Dixie around the neighborhood and to dog friendly stores to help her get use to being in public places. Dixie use to be so anxious around other dogs and people but now when we are in public she stays by my side and waits for me to have her approach someone. We also love the group classes which are offered throughout the week and make it convenient to attend. It's a fun way to meet other dog lovers too! My 7 year old even got to work with Dixie at one of the group classes. The owner Chris has developed a wonderful philosophy about training dogs and he shows he cares. I completely trust the trainers will not hurt my dog and I feel very confident in their training. We always get compliments about how well behaved she is. Side note if you read to the end:

After looking up the many local dog trainers, we settled on Leave the Leash and could not be happier. As soon as our first lesson, we were seeing results. My wife and have a Great Dane and we knew we needed some strong training to make sure we could handle our baby. Whether it's Chris, Jack, Brian, Anthony or Bree, they all took the time to explain what they were doing and didn't leave until all of our questions were answered. With the ability to attend group classes after you complete your training you are never left alone. Like many pet parents, I started to slack on our training. After one group class, I was reminded of my responsibilities and know what I need to do. I would recommend Leave the Leash to anyone looking for dog training.

Chris and his team are super ! They have helped us with are two dogs immensely. They have a great understanding of dogs and how to train them. Both of our dogs graduated and are now in the group classes.

Luna engaged in a lot of leash pulling and some reactivity when she would see other dogs. Luna is now able to walk calmly and does not overreact when another dog is around or near her. Nova is an anxious pup and her board and train helped her be exposed to public areas, while working on her obedience, learning to settle, gained more confidence in herself and does really well with leash walking. Raymond was thorough and explained things with care and patience on how to continue their training at home, answered any question and concerns we had and provided us with feedback when he had us practice the tools he used with our girls.
