Jasper, our well trained dog

We had our hands full with our second Belgian Malinois, Jasper. Realizing our last girl was when we were in our 30's. Now in our early 50's we were afraid we bit off more than we could chew! But in came Leave The Leash. So professional, and so sure that we could get her walking without pulling and not jumping in no time, we went to work. We have referred many people here and we will always recommend! We thought the initial cost was high, but let me tell you, for the amount of training we have received it is SO worth every penny! We had one on one for weeks, then Jasper graduated to group class. We still take her 1-2 times a week and we all enjoy it so much! We put her collar on and tell her she is going to work and she gets so excited!! The trainers are great, we love it!!

I am THRILLED with the behavior improvements of my little dogs! Leave the Leash methods are amazingly effective and my little ones' lives and mine are so much happier and safer. Here's a pic of them NOT darting out the door, one of many improvements.

This training has really changed my dog behavior, I been able to take my dog to dog parks and other event without him getting out of control. It was so good I enrolled all my other dogs into the program

I have to say that Leave the Leash has made a huge difference in my rescue dog. She is well behaved at dog friendly restaurants and a fun dog to hike with. She listened off leash at Huntington Dog Beach and had a blast. She use to walk well on a leash for a while and then flip out and run from side to side. She provided a lot of entertainment to people walking by and I would get frustrated trying to stop her. She has been training since April 14th and I have to say, yesterday it may have saved her life. There was a loose pit bull that had just killed a cat and bit a man and we had a 4-7 minute encounter with the dog. Several times it approached and Gidget sat calmly at my side. I was blowing a whistle and Gidget still stayed calmly at my side. She did start to bark and I used the quiet command and she obeyed. The encounter ended with Gidget on a step and me in front of her and the pit bull sat down 1 foot away from us. The man who's cat was killed and already bit came over and grabbed the pit and put it in his yard with the other pit it was loose with. Thank you Mackenzie and Kris for training Gidget and of course training.

We're so happy we found Leave the Leash program. Luca has progressed a lot with his behavior since we took personal classes and the group classes. All of the Trainers are great. We definitely recommend these classes for all dog owners!

Here she is in the snow staying when we tell her to

Leave the Leash was recommended to us by a friend with dogs and we decided to invest with the 8 day jump start program. Our Ellie has been so great through the process. While she still has her personality and her own desires, she does a great job listening and allowing us to show her how to have a good time without having to fight her. All the trainers have been excellent! The only negative thing I can think of is that she happy pees each time she sees one of them, but I don't blame the trainers, lol. They have helped us understand what she's wanting and how to redirect her into something more appropriate. The group classes have been wonderful, too!

We LOVE Leave the Leash! All the employees care about your dog and know exactly what will help to make your dog a better listener. My puppy, Dixie was a maniac and would pull me while we went on walks. But with the gentle and thoughtful training from Leave the Leash trainers, we both enjoy our walks now. I opted for the training package of having trainers come to our house and it was the best experience. They would take Dixie around the neighborhood and to dog friendly stores to help her get use to being in public places. Dixie use to be so anxious around other dogs and people but now when we are in public she stays by my side and waits for me to have her approach someone. We also love the group classes which are offered throughout the week and make it convenient to attend. It's a fun way to meet other dog lovers too! My 7 year old even got to work with Dixie at one of the group classes. The owner Chris has developed a wonderful philosophy about training dogs and he shows he cares. I completely trust the trainers will not hurt my dog and I feel very confident in their training. We always get compliments about how well behaved she is. Side note if you read to the end:

This has been the best money I have ever spent. Cookie is a new dog and now she has a lifelong friend in Brian!

Our Golden-doodles are amazing dogs but definitely needed some training. We had issues with them jumping on our friends and family, not listening to us when needed and pulling at the leash when walking. We have completed the 8 day jump start training with both of our dogs and are now attending group training. All of the Leave the Leash trainers are amazing! We have recently had our family over for Super Bowl and this was the first time we were able to have our dogs hang out with our family without worrying about them jumping on everyone and being overly excited. This program works! Money well spent. Thank you Leave the Leash!

After looking up the many local dog trainers, we settled on Leave the Leash and could not be happier. As soon as our first lesson, we were seeing results. My wife and have a Great Dane and we knew we needed some strong training to make sure we could handle our baby. Whether it's Chris, Jack, Brian, Anthony or Bree, they all took the time to explain what they were doing and didn't leave until all of our questions were answered. With the ability to attend group classes after you complete your training you are never left alone. Like many pet parents, I started to slack on our training. After one group class, I was reminded of my responsibilities and know what I need to do. I would recommend Leave the Leash to anyone looking for dog training.

I am so happy I found Leave the leash dog training. My puppy Stella has really come along. Stella was adopted so when we got her she was very skittish and would run out the door. After a few at home training sessions, she does not bolt anymore. Very friendly, knowledgeable and very patient staff.

Chris and his team are super ! They have helped us with are two dogs immensely. They have a great understanding of dogs and how to train them. Both of our dogs graduated and are now in the group classes.

Most of the trainers are amazing. Really works if you stick to it and work with your dog. It does take time but great results.

She is extremely knowledgeable with puppy raising and socialization. We did a mixture of group classes and private lessons once Bear graduated puppy class. With Bethany's help, Bear has built a super solid foundation for sports and useful life skills. Bethany is a good problem solver. She often has creative solutions to curb behavior problems. Her methods are practical for real life situations and she listens to her clients well. Now that my boy is all grown up, we go to PhDogs for their awesome dock diving pool. The process of booking and using the pool is easy. Bear is always so excited to go there. When we occasionally go out of town, PhDogs is the only place I can trust to care for my high drive, intact boy. They also offer swimming lessons during the dog's stay. Bethany actually taught Bear how to swim when he was there for boarding :) I highly recommend PhDogs!!!

My husband and son brought her in, and after only about 20-30 minutes, the evaluator said she "appeared" not to want other dogs near her. He also mentioned that because she's a big girl, he would probably be the only person able to handle her if something happened. Yet he suggested their Riverside location might be a better fit because it had "more room." That left me questioning whether the concern was actually Sammi's behavior (being timid as he said she showed no aggression) or their ability to accommodate her. When I raised that question, I did not feel it was acknowledged or clearly answered. Their website lists no breed restrictions, but the comments and brief evaluation left me feeling that our Sammi was prejudged because she is an XL pitbull. For context, she passed a four-hour evaluation at Smart Parke and attends daycare there twice a week without any problems. She's been attending there since she was 5 months old. I understand that different facilities have different environments, and I respect the need for safety. But I expected a specific explanation of what she actually did during the evaluation to fail her and why another location would supposedly be suitable. Adding to the frustration, I have received marketing emails one being to leave a review of our experience and just recently I received an email saying they missed us at Riverside and inviting us back--when Sammi has never attended that location. My issue isn't simply that she didn't pass. It's the vague explanations, the lack of acknowledgment when I raised my concerns, and the impersonal follow-up. This experience left me feeling that my dog wasn't given a fair assessment what-so-ever.
