The difference in recall alone is worth it. Our dogs come back reliably now, which is something we struggled with for a long time on our own. Their overall behavior improved across the board too, not just the specific things we went in wanting to fix. Raya is the reason this works. She is the real deal. She's incredibly responsive, and she sends updates throughout the training so you're never left wondering how your dog is doing. The videos she sends also provide instruction for you as the dog owner. She clearly cares about every dog that comes through, and it shows in the results. What sets her apart, though, is that she doesn't disappear when the program ends. She's still there for us, giving advice on how to keep the training going at home, answering questions, and helping us hold onto the progress. That kind of ongoing support is rare and it makes all the difference for us to keep up the training at home. If your dog needs real help, go see Raya. There's no one we would trust our dogs with more!

Kehau came out to meet him before boarding him and seeing how she interacted with him right off the bat eased any apprehension I had about leaving him. That made our trip just so much easier. On top of that, he was listening to commands much more than when he left! Oh, and getting pics of him on our trip was the cherry on top. Will definitely be bringing him back to her whenever we need to go on a trip. Hope to have him have a playdate with her soon too.

This place is AMAZING!…read more We recently brought our beloved Fånihi to Kapolei Pet Hospital after he suddenly developed IVDD overnight. It was absolutely heartbreaking. Fånihi brought so much happiness, love, and joy into our lives, and having to make such a difficult decision was one of the hardest things our family has ever faced. From the moment we walked through the doors until Fånihi took his last breath, the entire staff treated him with so much love, compassion, and respect. They were gentle, informative, and incredibly caring, not only toward him but also toward our family. During one of the most painful moments of our lives, they made us feel like they truly loved him too. When we received his cremation ashes, they included beautiful keepsakes that meant the world to us: prints of his nose, mouth, and paw, along with a heartfelt condolence card signed by everyone in the clinic. They even included an extra set of his nose and paw prints. The thoughtfulness and attention to detail were beyond anything we expected, and we will treasure those memories forever. Our family will always be grateful to Dr. Yoko and Mindy. Mindy was incredibly gentle and kind with our sweet boy, reassuring us every step of the way that he would be treated with the utmost care and dignity. Dr. Yoko took the time to explain Fånihi's condition with compassion and honesty, helping us understand what was best for him, even though it was so difficult to hear. I cannot recommend Kapolei Pet Hospital enough. Their kindness, professionalism, empathy, and genuine compassion made an unimaginable loss just a little easier to bear. We will never forget how they cared for our beloved Fånihi, and our family will be forever grateful. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you. The Benavente Tribe

They were nice, had regular training and were bonded to cover expenses if anything bad happened. But the people who walked my dogs were constantly changing over and at one point they couldn't cover for my visit although they had said they could and also charged me a lot more than they originally said because they decided to institute holiday rates. That's when I looked for a more stable group of people and Aloha Pro was recommended. They are a couple who used to run a restaurant and then have been in this business for many years. OMGoodness if my dogs didn't immediately fall in love with husband Frank! I could tell when I came home that he had walked them that day because they were extra excited when they greeted me at the door. Seems they would tell me stories about Uncle Frank walking them, and sadly I didn't understand, but their excitement was definitely noticeable. And when I'd go on a trip before Aloha Pro, they used to stop eating for a few days until they had to eat, but when Uncle Frank watched them, no such problem. And when I returned from a trip they were excited to see me but not as crazy as before and again they were happy to tell me that Uncle Frank took good care of them. My dog didn't see him for a year and when he came for the key she squealed and jumped up and down like he was Bruno Mars. He is magical with dogs! Because there's only the two of them they only work with pets on the Leeward side. So if you want to experience the Uncle Frank magic you'll have to move to Leeward

Sabrina is truly so amazing!…read more I came to her wanting to train a Psychiatric Service Dog for myself and she was the most sweet and caring person. I could not have asked for a better experience with this whole process. Sabrina has always been so responsive and kind about my situation since I am a student financing the cost of a Service Dog on my own and she has been nothing but extremely flexible and understanding the entire way through. I got my baby Sugar Plum from her and she was raised with Sabrina. Since I started working with her, she has been such an angel and I am so lucky to have such a great dog who is always so attentive and well behaved. I have had virtually no issues with training my puppy with her help. But if I do, Sabrina is always right there to help me out! I canʻt count how many times that Iʻve asked Sabrina questions about raising my puppy or how to train or even what cage size I should get for her. Itʻs not just the training you get with her, sheʻs really there for any support which I have been so extremely grateful for. She knows her way with the dogs and I trust her with my puppy more than anyone else. I cannot recommend Sabrina and Balanced Obedience enough, and everyone I talk to knows it! If you are looking for trustworthy adoption, training, and/or boarding, this is it!

Balanced Obedience has truly been a dream come true! Sabrina is absolutely amazing…read more Before training, I couldn't even walk our dog because she pulled so hard. It wasn't just me--even our dog sitters struggled to walk her. She also greeted everyone by barking, whether they were coming into our home or we were visiting theirs. She sounded like a fierce guard dog... which is pretty funny considering she's a full-blooded Golden Retriever! The transformation has been incredible. Not only is she so much better behaved, but we've also learned how to communicate with her in a way we never knew before. The training didn't just change our dog--it changed our relationship with her. We can't recommend Balanced Obedience enough. If you're on the fence about investing in training, take the leap. It is worth every penny, and you'll be so glad you did!
