They only acknowledged their regulars. By the time the lady FINALLY asked us what we needed, she couldn't even answer our questions because she kept stopping to talk to her regulars. Really made us feel unwelcome and like we were interrupting her social time. Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.

We currently have 13 planted freshwater tanks in our house ranging from nano to 75 gallons, so my husband and I are always looking for something. For those complaining about customer service... this depends on how busy they are. Some of y'all forget these are human beings just like you. If someone calls off, or their internet shuts down, or they just have an overall bad day, of course that's going to affect their service. Calm down, you're buying fish, not survival supplies. And you are buying from people like me who probably prefer animals to other humans....... for clear reasons. And if you buy plants and get snails... lol, welcome to planted tanks. Don't overfeed, and they'll control their own numbers. Get some assassin snails, they're fun to watch hunt. As for dirty tanks or sick fish, that happens-- but I see it minimally here vs other fish stores. Overall, most of the fish I've bought here have been healthy, and most issues I have had were usually my fault. Majority of my interactions with the employees have been pleasant, but I recognize most of them as fellow introverts. They are also very responsive on Facebook, and tbh they're the only reason I really use FB anymore since they use their store page for stock updates.

I used to wash my boys in my house one of the sink. They make so much mess ,and if you were going to take the boys to the groomers that's gonna cost so much money. If you do it yourself and you know what kind of shampoo you can use and spend a quality time on taking care of your fur babies . They have a value punch card for 5 dog wash. I reached out to corporate because my order showed to still be processing a month later and the buttons to cancel were disabled. Corporate was no help at all. I called the local store and was blessed because I got Glen. Glen is one of the best retail employees I have ever engaged with. He did all he could to resolve the issue. Ended up it was corporate who needed to intervene. So then, Glen gave me 10% off so my pups could get their food. BTW - Bella and Bandit (the pups) said to give Glen a raise. You don't want to lose a great employee who, despite the system being difficult, was super positive and proactive to help us. Seriously- he deserves a raise. He's amazing. Keep Glen happy!!!!

Every time I call someone always answers, and so far this location always has the mice I need. Today they were busier than usual, 3 people in line and only one store clerk that I saw. Tom was extremely helpful. He quickly grabbed the mice I needed and assisted everyone else in line. I didn't even see him grab the mice so I was pleasantly surprised that he already had them waiting for me when I reached the counter. Nice guy, and efficient. I will definitely be back.
