This place is a total disaster! Philip the store manager is rude and lazy! The women do all the work as Philip sits in his office. The showers are never clean, dog hair is everywhere and you have to clean it yourself! We went tonight and the old woman with long grey hair who was working the register was incredibly rude and condescending when asked a simple question. We love coming here to wash our huge dog! We do so regularly. My dog had a clump of hair and poop stuck to her bottom and was unable to use the restroom. We kindly explained what was going on and we were just curious if we still needed to pay the $14 just to wet our dogs bottom to cut the hair off. (We did not mind paying) The lady rudely went on a tangent and told us she couldn't "babysit" us to see what products we used or didn't use and that the bathing area would still need to be cleaned. A simple and kind "you still have to pay because of store policy" or whatever would have been fine! We did not mind paying! If it wasn't necessary for my dogs health we would have left right then! Her horrible customer service is what needs babysitting. read more

Website shows they carry what I am looking for; go in, can't find it, but do see the brand and a blank spot on the shelf, just not the particular recipe my cat prefers. I go to the checkout counter and ask the young male that was folding towels if they may have any in the back... his only reply is, if its not on the shelf, we don't carry it. I could tell under his dirty mask that he was doing what I took to be a smart ass grin and he slightly tilted his head as if adding an exclamation point. The store was empty, it had just opened up 10 minutes earlier; I have bought the particular recipe there before, the clerk was just lazy and didn't want to get out of rhythm of folding towels - I will just use home delivery from Chewy from now on; no stores in the Hurst area can be depended upon to consistently carry product... a Cat develops a taste for what he/she likes, if they don't get it, they don't eat - Pet Supply stores should realize that and do their part to help us pet parents to take good care of our fur babies. Really disappointed with the service... I'm a regular to this pet supply store and one of the Main reasons I go is to get my dog washed. Just this Saturday my car was stolen and inside my car I had a dog wash card that I spent a lot of money on for ten dog washes. Told them what happened and they responded can't do nothing for you and won't replace the card. It's ironic how they can't search up a purchase on my account and how they can't replace it. I just brought our rescue pup in for her first "dog wash" and the facility was excellent. Everything was easy to access and the wash tubs were the perfect height and size for a big dog. Our girl is fairly large at 95 lbs and only 11 months old, so I was relieved that they could facilitate her size. The staff was also so kind and super patient with us since it was her first time in a public dog wash and she was nervous. We will definitely be returning for more baths. read more

Pretty decent place to self wash your dog. They have a pack of 3, 6, and 12 ($21, $39 and $69). They have a variety of shampoo, not the best quality but it's provided along with towels, tethers, aprons. They have shopvac blow dryers that are super loud, scared the dogs but it was a new experience. Sam is great! She is super friendly, very helpful, courteous and inviting with every customer. The other employees I encountered seem a little clueless or just unenthusiastic about being there. I'll be giving them a chance on food and supplies and definitely be washing the pups here from now on. Much easier on the back! read more

On the encouragement of a friend, we gave the 'Self-Serve' dog washing station a try at this Pet Supplies Plus for our two furry children. Have to say I was VERY pleased!! They supply the washing bays, three kinds of shampoo, conditioner, towels and very powerful dryers. It was very clean, very quick and the dogs still smell wonderful more than 24 hours later. . . .with labs, that is not always a given. I bought the six wash "Dirty Dog Club" membership for $39.00 and after tax it comes out to about $7 per wash. That is a deal for me, especially with winter coming soon and no way to wash them inside. The staff were awesome, very kind to our dogs and helpful to us newbies. Everything about it went smooth as clockwork. I was VERY pleased and will definitely continue to use. read more

I will say that I'm not a big time yelper, but I had to post after my awesome experience at this store today. While the service at petsmart is usually decent, I often feel as though I'm overpaying for mediocre grooming services depending on who groomed my dog. When my neighbor suggested this place, I was hesitant. So today was my first time using a bathing station and as soon as I walked in the store Tee greeted me and gave me the tour. Not only did she show me to the bathing station and how everything worked but she volunteered to help with anything needed. Afterward she walked me directly to items I was looking for, played with my baby while I was checking out, and even walked Cali out to the car! I have not done reviews very often but decided to after the experiance I just had at Pet Supplies Plus. My expectations were not high but we needed a few things and did not want to make the trip to PetSmart. I was promptly greeted by several associates willing to help and out of curiosity I asked about dog food recommendations (I was not there for food). One of the associates Brett gave me a complete rundown of all the foods and landed me on a high quality brand that was made right here in Texas which I am happy to buy to support local business. They were extremely knowledgeable through the entire process. The store was big enough to carry everything I need, but small enough to have a boutique feel. The smaller size and convinient store front parking made it much more accessable being that I had my kids with me. As a recommendation I would have liked to have seen them carry training supplies for gun dogs. They had a Remington vest but that was about it. 5 Star Experiance. read more

The staff is great, the selection for dog treats is wonderful, and they have a great grooming station. The best for me is the special selection of dog treats in yogurt frosting they have by the register. The ones that look like Truffles have a soft center and my dog goes crazy for them. My dog has a terrible sweet tooth so from time to time I get these for him. I was in the area, so I stopped in to see if they had live crickets for our bearded dragon we got about a month ago. To my surprise, they did! Also, I had a few questions about our beardie, and the associate was incredibly knowledgable about all kinds of reptiles. He answered my questions, and even gave me additional info so that I may care for our little guy better.
