Kramer was always excited to see her...that made me happy to see. Ally kept Kramer in tip-top shape with long walks. I should mention Ally took care of Kramer from when he was just a wee little boy to almost six years old. She helped me train him (although he obeys her more than me). Also, and this is super cool, Ally is a vet tech, so she was always quick to point-out when I needed to take Kramer to the vet. Reason for this review: There's obviously a lot of trust involved in letting people take care of your pets and access your home. We have 100% confidence in Melissa and her team and want to share our experience because - when we were looking for long-term pet sitting - we didn't have any recommendations to help us. Five-star details: 1. Outstanding Communications. Melissa is always available, including by phone, text, and email. She does what she says she is going to do. We've spoken on the phone & Melissa has a great app which gives you updates and photos of your pet! 2. Genuine Caring. On our most recent trip, the weather got cold. Melissa's team members worked with us to turn on our well heater, ensure our pup was kept warm and cozy, and gave us detailed updates and photos. 3. Going Above & Beyond. Melissa called me about the cold weather to alert us in case we didn't know it was going to be below freezing and to ensure our pet was fully taken care of. Her team actually plays with your pet, spends real quality time, and ensures your pet feels loved. They brought our dog extra treats which was incredibly thoughtful because our dog is a senior citizen - and they actually know about dogs so they brought treats that are great for his health as well as being yummy!

She called me to tell me she took the cat litter out in the garage and saw our water softener was leaking, and it hadn't been the day before. She gave me the phone number of the company who installed the softener (it was on the tank) and stood by while I called them. She returned to our house and let the workman in to do the repair on the same day. This could have been an expensive issue for us when we returned 4 days later and it was certainly above and beyond her pet sitting duties. Highly recommended.

Parking at Mutts was pretty smooth but it does look like it could be difficult on days or times where many owners decide to stop by. When entering there are a lot of security precautions in place ensuring that it would be VERY difficult for dogs to escape which is much appreciated. To get into the dog park itself you need to purchase a day pass which runs $14, there are other options like weekly, monthly, or even membership passes but as first timers we didn't want to commit too hard just yet. Ordering is pretty straightforward and the food options are simple, burgers and tenders and fries. They do also have a dog menu but it is very lacking for being a dog focused place, just two options for dogs and both involve peanut butter so in the case your dog is strange and doesn't like peanut butter then you're out of luck. There's a good amount of seating on the patio for food and the interior of the dog park also has a lot of seating and things for dogs as well like rocks, baths, and water bowls. They have a big screen out in the yard too so if you're into sports and would like to bring your dog somewhere to watch then this is a great option. Beware that you SHOULD NOT bring food into the yard, they don't explicitly say it but just know that is not a good idea. Overall, Mutts is an awesome place to bring a dog and just hang out and have them (or you) socialize. Consider stopping by with your dog when you have a chance!
