Since moving to a regular 9-5 non-business owner, I wanted pet care for our dogs during the day. I also wanted in-home pet sitting and overnight care for our dogs so as not to disrupt their routine of having us in the home. I love, love, love Susan and Dan (the owners) and their entire scheduling staff as well as their "Pet Gals and Pet Guys". When our baby was due, Susan and the entire Pet Gal team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us plan for her arrival. There is nothing like feeling relieved that your home and pets will be well taken care of during one of the biggest life events. They really did go way above and beyond for us, adjusting to an ever changing situation as well as helping to make sure we had coverage in case something didn't go to plan. They even sent us a wonderful, thoughtful welcome home gift when we arrived home with our new human addition. I can't say enough good things about this company. Our favorite sitters are Jason and Claudia - my dogs LOVE them. They also leave the most wonderful updates and our home is always left better than when we left it. Pre-pandemic we counted on them to care for our pets during the day, and post-vaccine, they are able to care for them during travel time. The Pet Gal team members are all properly insured, trained, and you can trust them to show up, no matter what. You may not get the same sitter each time, but you will get the same care and attention each time. I am so thankful we're clients of The Pet Gal - they are truly a wonderful company.

Kramer was always excited to see her...that made me happy to see. Ally kept Kramer in tip-top shape with long walks. Often she'd send me pictures/videos of Kramer in creek or playing with his buddies...brought a smile to my face. I should mention Ally took care of Kramer from when he was just a wee little boy to almost six years old. She helped me train him (although he obeys her more than me). Also, and this is super cool, Ally is a vet tech, so she was always quick to point-out when I needed to take Kramer to the vet. The first few visits were fine; however, the young man who was assigned to take care of my pets "forgot" to come by my house the early evening on the Fourth of July; therefore, my pets were not fed, my dog did not receive her prescription medication and was not let out to go to the bathroom, and neither my dog or a cat received prescribed medication to help them deal with the fireworks that go off every year in our neighborhood. When I called the company that evening my call went straight to voicemail. I sent a text, which I was told are monitored, to indicate the gentleman had not come by my house. I received no response. After ensuring he enjoyed a fireworks show with friends and family, the gentleman decided to finally come by my house at midnight to tend to my pets. He acted immaturely and irresponsibly, and because of his choices and actions my pets were not well taken care of that night. The reason I know he came by at midnight, after he decided to go see fireworks, is because that is exactly what he wrote in the app the company uses to communicate with clients, which is timestamped. He made no apologies for his error in judgement. Come Monday I still did not receive a phone call or text from the company. On Tuesday I finally texted the company asking to speak to a manager. Amber called me and admitted she thought she knew why I was calling. I did not find that reassuring. I relayed all of the above to her and never once did she state the young gentleman should have done things differently. Instead she tried to tell me the times on the app are off. I had to let her know we have cameras around our house that show exactly when people enter and leave our home. We even alerted a neighbor to what had happened in case we needed to call upon them for help, and their cameras caught the gentleman coming at midnight. People in Arizona may have a better experience with this company, but I would not recommend them. Not in Austin, Texas; not in any state.

Pet sitting doesn't get better than this…read more When we moved to the area, we were in need of last minute pet sitting due to a sudden need to go back to our previous home. Of the multiple pet sitters we contacted, Erica from Fur Your Pets was the most prompt to respond and most personable, and was the start of repeated great pet sitting service. Over the last year and a half, we went from requesting in-home visits to take care of 3 cats, to in-home full day care (pet-sitting and house-sitting combined) for 3 cats and 2 dogs - one being a super rambunctious rottweiler. We did a "trial" weekend stay in preparation for a longer trip, and Erica did a fantastic job of taking care of everyone, even the rottweiler, which we were a bit worried about. Our pets love Erica and being able to stay in a familiar environment while we are traveling really shows. Our dogs get excited when she comes over, and when her visit ends, we come back to relaxed and perfectly normal (maybe a little disappointed to see us rather than Erica?) family. Our pets with prior pet sitters and kennels exhibited a bit of stress and anxiety after we came back, so this is a really great change for them. I can't say enough about how well Fur Your Pets takes care of our pets and home.
