Whether taking our dogs (all four!) for a walk to the park before the sun was too warm (this is June so we're talking 7-ish am), letting everyone sleep with her (she does very affordable overnight stays), snuggling with the kids while hanging out (she stayed in our pull out ikea bed which sucks so that all the dogs could sleep with her even thouh we offered her our bedroom with a more comfy bed), or doing backyard agility with our corgi mix (our corgi mix loves agility), Alicia made sure that our pets had great fun and lived the high life while we were on vacation. I felt so comfortable leaving everyone in her hands that didn't worry about them at all, which is very atypical for me. She kept us apprised with daily updates and photos of the kids enjoying themselves. She also kept a journal of all their daily activities for us when we got home! She took great care of our house as well; our birdfeeders, plants and general homestead. When we came back home, our house was cleaner than when we'd left it! I know this is not typically part of a petsitters service but it is so nice to come home from vacation to everything nice and tidy! For her A+ quality of customer service and clear devotion to and experience working with dogs, I can't recommend Alicia enough.

Reason for this review: There's obviously a lot of trust involved in letting people take care of your pets and access your home. We have 100% confidence in Melissa and her team and want to share our experience because - when we were looking for long-term pet sitting - we didn't have any recommendations to help us. Five-star details: 1. Outstanding Communications. Melissa is always available, including by phone, text, and email. She does what she says she is going to do. We've spoken on the phone & Melissa has a great app which gives you updates and photos of your pet! 2. Genuine Caring. On our most recent trip, the weather got cold. Melissa's team members worked with us to turn on our well heater, ensure our pup was kept warm and cozy, and gave us detailed updates and photos. 3. Going Above & Beyond. Melissa called me about the cold weather to alert us in case we didn't know it was going to be below freezing and to ensure our pet was fully taken care of. Her team actually plays with your pet, spends real quality time, and ensures your pet feels loved. They brought our dog extra treats which was incredibly thoughtful because our dog is a senior citizen - and they actually know about dogs so they brought treats that are great for his health as well as being yummy!

I recently got a Frenchton puppy. I've never had a dog in my life, so this was all new to me. I…read morewas bamboozled into getting a puppy by my husband and daughter. I love animals, but never had a dog since I'm super allergic and my mom was terrified of dogs while I was growing up. Fast forward to today when I take extra allergy meds and I am bossed around by a 25lb dog all day every day. I've gone full crazy dog lady! So, the love of my life, I mean my puppy. He's my new little love bug! He's as sweet as can be, but I knew he needed some training to be the best boy ever. I researched high and low to find a good fit for my pup and I. I went for "interviews" with several highly rated trainers in the area only to find out that they used shock collars, which I just could not do on my 10lb dog at the time. He's up to 25lbs now and I still can't imagine using a shock collar on him. After tons of searches, I finally found Karma Dog. It was love at first sight. We are currently doing the puppy kindergarten and the private training. Here's the scoop: -They responded to my emails so quickly! The other places I contacted took several days to respond. Karma always got back with me in a day or less. -Puppy Kindergarten is a bit hit with my little guy. He's loves playing with the other puppies and he's always tired afterwards from getting all of his energy out playing. He's gets to socialize and learn some good behaviors at the same time. Win win. -Kelly S. was our trainer. We did 5 private sessions with her and she is just amazing. She would have my little guy acting like a perfect gentleman within 5 minutes of arriving. She gave us the tools to teach him the good way of doing things. I wish I was a puppy whisperer like Kelly. I still have things to practice with my pup, but she definitely helped us get on the right path ASAP. -Kelly was also so great working with my whole family. She included my 9 year old daughter in all of her training sessions and had her practicing as much as me with the dog. My husband was working a lot, but when he was available, he was involved in the training as well. I loved that Kelly worked with all of us to help us all have a better relationship. -Everyone I have had contact with all seem to really, truly care about animals. You can tell they are animal people who only want to help, not just make money off of you. -It's super convenient and relatively inexpensive for the private lessons, especially compared to some of the other programs I looked at. If you have a pup that could learn a few manners, I would definitely recommend Karma Dog for you.

Puppy Kindergarten is great because not only do I get to practice new concepts with her, she gets some of her energy out by socializing with the other puppies! This has been so good for her to not only learn new concepts, but also learn how to act around other puppies and people. I look forward to taking her to her class every week, and ALWAYS learn something new. The private 90 minute in home session, was really worth the price of the entire package for me. Sara was our trainer and is SO knowledgable. She made me feel at ease with my questions, and concerns and I got to see my puppy interact in a way I've never seen before. It gave me a different perspective, and I was able to see how smart my puppy truly is. I was pretty amazed and I really felt that Sara took the time not only to teach her new concepts, but to see what was most important to me as a new dog mom, which I appreciated. If you're considering Karma or a few other options for your pup, go with Karma! You won't be disappointed, and you won't break your bank either. Thank you, Karma!!!!!
