Whether taking our dogs (all four!) for a walk to the park before the sun was too warm (this is June so we're talking 7-ish am), letting everyone sleep with her (she does very affordable overnight stays), snuggling with the kids while hanging out (she stayed in our pull out ikea bed which sucks so that all the dogs could sleep with her even thouh we offered her our bedroom with a more comfy bed), or doing backyard agility with our corgi mix (our corgi mix loves agility), Alicia made sure that our pets had great fun and lived the high life while we were on vacation. I felt so comfortable leaving everyone in her hands that didn't worry about them at all, which is very atypical for me. She kept us apprised with daily updates and photos of the kids enjoying themselves. She also kept a journal of all their daily activities for us when we got home! She took great care of our house as well; our birdfeeders, plants and general homestead. When we came back home, our house was cleaner than when we'd left it! I know this is not typically part of a petsitters service but it is so nice to come home from vacation to everything nice and tidy! (We have a mix of large, medium and small dogs, plus one very old cat.) Each of them has a "story" which Lynda was very interested in learning in order to accommodate their individual needs. She quickly earned the trust of our Border Collie rescue (Jack) - no easy feat; and she has been careful with our Aussie (Charley) who is nursing a torn ACL. Whether we just need her for potty breaks, play time or walks; or if we need her for one day or a week, she has always been available to care for our pets. Most importantly, my husband and I are confident she cares about them and understands their needs. After each visit she leaves a detailed report about their activities. We LOVE reading the daily recap of her visits with our boys! I've recommended Lynda to several people and confidently recommend her to you if you want someone who holds a special place in their hearts for furry family members.

They send send us regular SMS photos of our doggie which is a nice touch. We live in downtown Austin and have tried various other pet borders. Every time we would board him downtown, our dog was stressed and took a while to get back to normal. We probably tried five or six before finding Just Fur Pets. We tried Just Fur Pets on a recommendation from a work colleague. We never looked back. Even though the drive is 45-55 minutes one way, it is well worth it. Our dog loves Denise and her husband. They take great care of him. Also, their their rates are very reasonable. Much cheaper than downtown Austin standards. While it is a little bit of a drive, your bill will be less and you can sleep easily knowing your pet is well taken care of and loved. Simply put, I cannot recommend Just Fur Pets enough. I would give them six stars if I could!

I regularly drive 45 minutes (one way) to Just Fur Pets because it's worth it! When I arrive, my dog (a polite senior pup) pulls his leash with all his strength to get to Denise's front door. He doesn't even look back when I shout bye as he slips into the house. Denise is a tried and true animal lover. She is experienced in a way that only one with a lifetime of pet care can be. She is kind, flexible, and professional. Her rates are reasonable and my dog's obvious happiness is all over his face at drop off and pick up. We've used her services many times and we will keep coming back forever!
