We had brunch near here and thought a quick walk-through to see all the exotic pets we think would be cool but know better than to ever actually buy. We were right! Very cool store full of cold blooded exotics. Snakes, lizards, turtles and tortoises, insects and arachnids, frogs, fish, you name it, and you'll probably find it here!! The only downside is their very inflated pricing.

We came here for my son's first pet, a leopard gecko, and were truly pleased with the entire process. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by several staff and Zach came over to offer his assistance. He was AWESOME! I was a little nervous as I'd done a ton of research and wanted to make sure we got off on the right foot from homing the pet to feeding to cleaning, etc. Zach was so knowledgeable and had all the answers. We finished up with our questions and gathered all the additional things we needed for our terrarium. He even hand wrote me a checklist! Then we brought the kiddo in on our next visit to pick out the gecko he wanted. Zach recognized us and came over immediately to help. He was patient, bringing out several geckos for our son to look at until he'd finally picked The One. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks Zach and Pet Bazaar! A+ service!

This is a cool pet shop if you are into some fish and reptiles. The shop is small and has been here for quite a while. We stopped in looking for fish supplies. This place looked like it has basic supplies in stock. There was an assortment of small freshwater fish and various other too. We weren't blown away by the selection here, but that may be a preference. Worth checking out if you need supplies in this range

As a large snake owner this is the place to go for feeders! Always a great crew, thanks for selling me pre killed rats!

One of the best Mom and Pop owned stores in The Orlando area. A great selection of Reptiles, Colubrids, Boas etc. plus a great selection of Fish as well as a awesome collection of Supplies. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable on all aspects of the various reptiles fish etc. Highly recommended.

I want to preface this with the fact that I took several days to consider if I wanted to write this. I understand the substantial impact that negative reviews can have on a business, especially small, locally owned businesses. Understand that I do not write the following haphazardly. However, after speaking with other veterinary professionals regarding my experience, and receiving their support on the matter, I've been urged to write this review. To be clear, the owner of the reptile store was present for this entire visit and was privy to the entire exchange between his employees. Also, please excuse the language I'm about to use - I'm repeating what I heard verbatim. This took place on Tuesday, June 8th at approximately 6:30 PM. There were three staff members at Pet Bazaar along with the owner: a mid 20s female, and two mid to late 20s males. I don't know which individual actually started this conversation. A male employee began by explaining how his intact male pit bull bit his girlfriend. The bite resulted in a hospital visit. He blamed the dog, citing "he's a pit" as the reason for the bite. The employee expounded about pinning the dog down and "whooping his ass." The two men shared very graphic details about "disciplining" their dogs. One laughed as he explained how he once held his dog up by the neck and repeatedly hit it "into submission." The male employee with the injured girlfriend then stated that he threw the pit in his kennel after the beating, and joked that the dog "forgot about his ass whoopin', because his dumb ass was waggin' his tail and shit right after." He then proceeded to brag about how he beat the dog for getting into the trash shortly before this happened. He laughed and said, "he's an outside dog now. My girl can't handle an alpha dog. I told her, she can't do shit with the dog without me there." When the female employee asked about it being hot in Florida, the male employee retorted "he's a fucking dog, he's fine. They like being outside." She laughed, and agreed. They then all took turns talking about how great they are at "correcting" their dogs after they "mess up" by immediately beating them. I quietly pulled the owner aside and told him how inappropriate their conversation was. He said "well, the dog bit his girlfriend." I told him a bite is rarely only a dog's fault and that the conversation was absolutely inappropriate, especially in front of customers. He said "ok, but they're probably exaggerating." I made it clear that it still wasn't appropriate and that this conversation alone was grounds for animal control to get involved. That is if AC hadn't already been contacted by the hospital as is required in the state of Florida after a dog bite occurs. All he said to me was "well, have a good day." He seemed absolutely unfazed by the disgusting conversation and dismissed my concern. I didn't say another word; I didn't cause a scene. I simply left. Sec. 20.29. - Reporting animal bites. It shall be the duty of every attending practitioner licensed to practice medicine, osteopathic medicine, or veterinary medicine or any other person knowing of or in attendance on a case to promptly report to the Seminole County Health Department every instance in which a person is bitten by an animal. The dog likely has already been reported. This means the dog can be confiscated for quarantine without owner consent. Please note that my review will not be to blame if the dog is seized - the law is clear here. Some more information: https://avsab.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Dominance_Position_Statement_download-10-3-14.pdf Dominance theory has been disproved by veterinary behavioral professionals. The whole "alpha" comment further showcases your employees' lack of knowledge in animal care and behavior. This is the pet industry. You're supposed to advocate for ALL animals. You failed and have lost a customer as a result. If this review doesn't make you reconsider your stance on condoning animal abuse and breed stereotyping, maybe hitting you in the wallet will. My husband and I have been customers of this store for four years. These are the receipts from the past ten days alone. You've lost a good customer and potentially thousands of dollars in revenue due to your poor judgement.

Pretty cool place. They also purchase reptiles from people. Decent fresh water fish area, good prices. They also sell live brine shrimps. The betta were extremely sad looking so that's why I couldn't give it a five star.

Luckily I found Pet Bazaar, who helped me not only with that gecko, but then ever since I've done all my shopping with them.

This is one of the few locations that carries Carna4 dog food that my dog is currently on. When I…read morecalled they said they didn't have any in stock however I was able to order through them which I could not do online, even directly with the supplier themselves. They did not require pre-payment of the food, which surprised me, they said they wanted to make sure that the quality was what it was supposed to be before they sold it to me. As a business owner myself that's a great, customer forward, policy (that puts the business owner at risk of people ordering food and then not paying for it and not picking it up.) They do offer delivery and their delivery area is quite wide. I live about 25 minutes away from this location and the owner had stated that they would still deliver to me. I chose to pick up because I I don't mind the car ride. The owner is quite knowledgeable and even offered some options if this current food does not work for my dog who seems to be allergic to just about everything on the face of the earth. This shop also has a money back guarantee, as long as you have the original packaging and it's at least half full of the food. (I personally would not do that because I just don't feel right. It's not their fault if my dog doesn't or does like food however it is a great policy which I'm sure some people do use.) I would definitely recommend the shop for your pet food needs.
