Although he seemed knowledgeable, I told him our plan was to feed raw and kibble due to our budget and felt shamed for it. He told me kibble (even high quality - which is what I plan to use) is total garbage. Belittling your customers is not the way to get repeat clients. Will not be coming back at all - despite the quality of their raw food product.

I checked in my two cats to be boarded in Miss Emily's Kitty Condos. The drop-off process was…read moreincredibly easy and the staff was tremendously kind. My cats had no problems getting settled on their first day, but one of my cats decided that she wasn't too fond of playtime and became stressed, sitting atop their condos and not allowing the staff to get her down. While this was happening, I was on a plane and had no access to my phone. The staff tried to calm my cat down and try to get her back in her condo. Unfortunately, she was stressed and didn't take kindly to being boarded even after being boarded before. The staff kept in constant contact with me, letting me know how my precious cat was doing and if she had come down. In the end, we had to have the cats picked up by their emergency contact and had to cut their stay short. With that being said, the care Miss Emily's staff had toward my cats (even while one was hissing up a storm) made me want to write this review, knowing that your pets are in good hands, even when things don't go according to plan. I would recommend Miss Emily's to anyone who needs to board their pet in Orlando, dog or cat, as they truly have your pet's needs in mind.

So, I took to Yelp, like I usually do, and when I saw DogStar had Heather and Brent's approval, I knew they had to be my first contact. I sent a message late at night expecting a response in the morning. Much to my surprise, Joseph answered my message in under five minutes, instructing me to call in the morning and he'd do his best to squeeze me in. I called first thing in the morning, and it worked out for them to send Dan to us in the mobile grooming truck less than two hours later. He did a wonderful job with Rocky (getting him all clean and shaved and the full works) and I'm extra grateful because he let us know about an ear infection, so we were then off to find a vet. Would definitely recommend them and use them if I get a dog while in the area.

To the owner if you are this busy where you can not answer texts, Yelp messenger, business phone, cell phone then tell new customers you can't take new clients, it's the respectful thing to do.

TL;DR-- friendly and helpful staff, clean environment…read more We've been bringing our cat here for the past couple years, and just started bringing our puppy in about a month ago. We've always had good experiences with the staff and with both vets and vet techs. They've always been very helpful and willing to answer all of our questions and address any concerns as well as provide suggestions upon request. They've also been very helpful any times that we've called up with questions (which was helpful in avoiding to have to come in for a visit) I appreciate that we have to option to check in at the front desk and then wait in the car until the exam room is ready for us, rather than wait in the small waiting area with other pets and pet owners. Honestly, the only reservations that we've ever had is that some visits have been a bit more expensive than expected, particularly when we've had to come in for vaccinations every 3 weeks for the puppy and have to pay the exam fee each time. That being said, they did at least turn each of those visits into opportunities to answer questions and make sure everything has been going well-- but I would like the option to just bring him in for his shots and then head home without paying that extra fee each time. But even this won't be an issue once he's had all his shots.

Ricky (sp?) was phenomenal in her help with me and my wife as soon as we walked in. She was informative, polite, and positive and actually gave us a lot of sound advice with great answers to our questions. This has to be one of my top 3 experiences in a place of all time. She went OUT of her way to inform us, didn't pressure us to buy anything, and reassured us that the product we had already been using for our dog was vetted and safe. I will definitely come back here, and likely give their grooming services a try to boot. Strongly recommend this place.
