We absolutely love Dog Day Afternoon! The entire staff is super friendly and their love for dogs is authentic and evident. Our little one absolutely loves this place and it's only been three days. Thank you to the entire staff for providing such a loving and nurturing environment! We look forward to becoming regulars.

This place is wonderful! I was terrified about boarding my 12 year old Pomeranian for the first time ever but this place came highly recommended by a friend. I went in and did a tour and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. I left Leo with them while I had to travel for work and mentioned it was his birthday. The photo updates I received throughout his stay made my day and reassured me that he was in the best hands. They even threw him a little birthday party! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to board their pups!

My dogs will do backflips when asked if they want to go to Dog Day Afternoon. Daycare and boarding, these two would pick this place over food any day of the week. The staff is fantastic, caring, and very responsive. The photos say more than any words could. Classic before and after. Only thing missing is the snoring audio.

YAY! Doggie Day Afternoon rocks! I recently checked this place out thanks to MC's referral. She wrote such a great review and I was ready to find somewhere I could take my baby girl for some fun during my busy days. When you call to set up your first visit, grooming or day care, they make sure that your pet is up to date with all of their shots by calling your vet to confirm. That's amazing. You always hear of these places asking for papers and such but then to actually follow through and prove they actually research is such a positive feeling. This way you know every other dog there is undergoing the same process to ensure all puppies well being. I took Haley in for a grooming and you are taken back to a room for paperwork and you are offered a walk through as well. The groomer comes in and chats about your pups personality, likes/dislikes and your desires for the trim. She really cares and is super nice with the pups. When I picked Haley up she was fresh and ready to go and didn't seem stressed at all. That is a great sign. I also got a walk through of the rest of the facilities for when I return to drop her off for day care of overnight. They break the dog areas into small and large dogs. They have an indoor play area and outdoor as well. There is always an employee with them to monitor their behavior and happiness. They also have doggie apartments for each pup to sleep in their own area at night. You can bring their favorite toys etc. Everything seems super clean and well taken care of. What is really cool and you should take them up on if you are interested is thast your pups first day of dog care is free! How cool is that? Everyone working there has seemed to work there forever cause they love it! That is always a great sign of a good business. There are cameras in every play area and there are TVs in the main area for all to see. When your doggie is introduced you can watch it on screen, super great touch! When I picked Haley up she was in such a good mood which is a huge sign that she had a positive time. And to my surprise today, I received an email showing me some photos of my pup they took on her first day... talk about caring about your clients =) Happy Haley (and Colleen) indeed! HUGE POINTS! http://dogdayafternoonwheredogshavefun.blogspot.com/2012/02/happy-haley.html Highly suggest!!!

Our pup absolutely loves to visit Dog Day! We've taken her for boarding and day care, and have had wonderful experiences with both. The staff is so caring and conscientious. They always give us a thorough update if we call in the middle of her stay and when we pick her up. They're great about pairing our energetic girl with other dogs around the same energy level. The result: a thoroughly socialized, tired, happy dog.

    After doggy day care. Lol

My sweet Molly loves it here. She gets really excited right when she walks in the door. All the staff are friendly and trustworthy.

They love it too- one dog does private care with the staff and the other sometimes plays with the group.

All of the groomers work on tables completely visable to the customers and they treat the pets with so much love. They're about to move into a bigger spot and I'm so excited for their success. Our Irish Setter has been groomed here multiple times, yet the services have consistently felt lazy and inconsistent. Most recently, the grooming job was extremely poor, as shown in the photos. Despite our dog having an established "file" and us communicating our instructions directly to the groomer, we were later told it was still our responsibility to ensure everything was explained again. After we called to express our concerns, they asked us to send photos as evidence of the grooming. Following an investigation and conversations with both the owner and store manager, they admitted the groom was not up to their standards and apologized, which we did appreciate. What was disappointing, however, was the resolution they offered. Instead of refunding the service, they offered a discount on a future appointment. That felt presumptuous, considering this experience left us with little confidence in trusting them to groom our dog again. They also mentioned that, if we returned, they would make sure a groomer who "specializes in setters" handled him next time. This was frustrating to hear because our dog has been groomed there multiple times already, and that option was never previously mentioned.

So, I took to Yelp, like I usually do, and when I saw DogStar had Heather and Brent's approval, I knew they had to be my first contact. I sent a message late at night expecting a response in the morning. Much to my surprise, Joseph answered my message in under five minutes, instructing me to call in the morning and he'd do his best to squeeze me in. I called first thing in the morning, and it worked out for them to send Dan to us in the mobile grooming truck less than two hours later. He did a wonderful job with Rocky (getting him all clean and shaved and the full works) and I'm extra grateful because he let us know about an ear infection, so we were then off to find a vet. Would definitely recommend them and use them if I get a dog while in the area.

When I finally reached someone they told me to text them which I did and it's been two days with no response. Why tell someone to text you if you want respond back? So in total I have been trying to reach them for 2-3 weeks now. To the owner if you are this busy where you can not answer texts, Yelp messenger, business phone, cell phone then tell new customers you can't take new clients, it's the respectful thing to do.
