I never thought my Catahoula Duke (Gary called him Juggernaut) would ever be able to do that crazy stuff.

I have two very different, full of personality huskies and I always trust WoofTang 110%. I make the drive from St Pete to Orlando because this is the only place I completely trust with my dogs. In July of 2024 I decided to make the training investement with both. I knew the mad skills and talents that Lexi & Tai have with dogs and both of mine needed the professional assistance. I enrolled them both together. Archie, is an incredibly stubborn 6 year old husky and Pongo is my overly excited, talking 10 month old Husky. They blend well together but they are not everyone's cup of tea! I trusted these two and their team and they did wonders with compassion, patience and professionalism! My dogs are the core of my world, so as most dog owners I worry how others treat my dogs when away. Lexi would touch in almost everyday, she communicated reports with honesty on progress & she let me know when a post of their training was hitting the social so I could feel better being apart. Recently, when I had to evacuate from St Pete during both of these recent hurricanes to Orlando, the team took them right in and explained to me the precautions and procedures they would be taking with them. This team even stayed overnight during the storms! Talk about going the extra mile. Lexi is amazing at communication and I still ask her questions about training because it's an everyday practice here with my two! Tai radiates love when he talks to the dogs. The staff is very professional, clean, organized and educates you on the different packages/pricing & knows your dog! Also they take great photography of the dogs! (photo of the work added!) Bottom line, if you found this facility and you If you love your dog(s) you struck gold!! I have been bringing them since they opened their doors and I will be loyal to this team forever. Note: my dogs could attend our wedding BECAUSE of Lexi and Tai's training with them.

Kiko loves it here and I can rest easy knowing that he is safe and being looked after.read more

The staff loves them and always has sweet stories to tell us when we pick them up. In all these years, we've never had an issue that would raise concern and I appreciate that our pets have a safe place to sleep and play while we are away. I recently moved to the area and needed doggy day care while I was looking for a house. This place was recommended by an employee at a nearby pet store. But, she really didn't know anything about it other than it was close by. There's a large play area at the front, observable through large windows at reception, and there's a back area that you cannot see. From what I experienced, there's no air conditioning other than at reception. That leaves your dog exposed to Florida heat and humidity for the duration of the stay. Both times I picked up my dog, he was heat stressed and physically hot. There's plenty of water and it looks like the dogs can be hosed down, but that's not enough. Smaller dogs really suffer in heat, and dogs with skin problems shouldn't be watered down. There's no place for your dog to escape when they've had enough. The other issue is they're closed for four hours in the middle of the day. I didn't notice this the first time. I showed up and there was no one around and no cars in the parking lot. I'm sure there's a way to get your dog in an emergency, but I've never seen a business model like this. Last issue, is they will shamelessly flip around the pay pad and solicit a tip...for doing their job...that they're already paid for. Of course, they're all standing around looking at you. No pressure. I tipped because I don't want them to screw with my dog, But, they're not waiters or baristas. Their job IS the service; the service isn't extra. So, if you're actively fighting against out-or-control tipping culture, this alone is enough to avoid this business. Add the lack of air-conditioning, and there's just no reason.

We were bit worried about being able to have access to updates but the team was able to send via email so we were never out of the loop! This was our first time boarding Margot and we were concerned about how anxious she might get. She was adopted from a hoarding situation and is still getting used to the world. I shouldn't have even bothered to worry because the team went above and beyond to work at her pace and make sure she felt comfortable. We received daily updates of how she was doing and even saw her make new friends. When we picked her up she didn't even seem like she wanted to go--in fact when we took her outside later and home she tried to run back to the car (we think she's ready for another week of puppy camp as we call it). Another thing we love about Rocky's is they are inclusive of dogs with additional needs. It's hard to find places that truly care for your pets like you do, and safe to say we lucked out with this one. Can't wait for the next time!

I have a rescued 5/6 year old Lab/Golden mix named Hudson who has always given me issues with walks. Hudson was extremely reactive and it was nearly impossible and quite embaraasing to take him with in 20 feet of another dog because of the lunging, jumping and barking. He is a sweet boy but for some reason could not control himself when we saw another dog. After getting a new job and learning that I would be moving to downtown Seattle, I knew that I had to get Hudson some help to make sure we had an easy transition to one of the most dog friendly cities in the country. I did my research and called around to several trainers but my conversation with Craig gave me a sense of ease and confidence that there was hope for Hudson. I chose a 3 week program and Meredith kept me updated about once every 3-5 days with check ins and progress update videos. On July 13th, the day we picked up Hudson we took about 1.5 hours to go over all that he has learned, how to make sure we keep him on track and how to apply what he has learned into his new life in Seattle. I feel like in some ways I have a whole new start with Hudson, I have been able to take him on LONG walks with no worries of who we might see, he has gone to breweries and has minimal issues when we have to share the elevator with another dog. There are still times when Hudson gets over excited and will have a moment but I have the tools to calm him down and move on. At home he has become so much better- while I am cooking, he automatically places himself on his bed giving me the freedom to cook in peace without him begging for food every second. At his core he is still the happiest sweetest dog and his playful spirit is still there, my life and life has just changed for the better and I could not be more thankful for the team at The Calm K9 for all they have done!

I realized this when my 4 month Airedale puppy came inside smelling like wet dog and grass. I decided to check out Pawsmere Pet Retreat because I had heard good things about them! They are located in the corner lot in the town of Montverde by the gas stations. If you are not looking for them, you may not be able to find them. Luckily, we were able to do some digging and find out where they were. The staff was extremely friendly and actually very excited to see an Airedale because they aren't really native to this area. Usually with Airedales, they are meant to be groomed a specific way and in a specific pattern or else their hair will come out matted and unruly. Michelle, the owner knew EXACTLY what to do with him. It took a couple of hours, but when she brought him out - it was like he was a WHOLE different dog. The price was not too bad either. I paid about $45 or so for a wash and cut and will definitely be back again.

The owner treated them like family. She keeps it small in the way of allowing roughly 3 dogs to board at one time. This allows the dogs to get adequate attention, exercise, and safety. She sent me texts during our time away updating us on how the dogs were doing and included photos and videos. The dogs stayed almost a week and they were so happy to lucky when I brought them home. She is also a grooming facility. So she groomed them before pick up per our request. It was a great value and quality care for our fur babies. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a more personal affordable boarding option for your dog or cat.
