PestNow is great! Recently, I restarted quarterly pest control services but opted for them to spray exterior of my residence only. I skipped the interior service due to fears that the product would harm our pet. Soon after we found ourselves with an unwanted mouse and fruit flies. I wrote to PestNow asking if they could rid us of these unwanted pests without harming our pet. They assured me that the mouse trap would not be harmful to our dog and that they would need to check the source of the fruit flies to advise about that. They said this was included with the quarterly service. Although I had opted out of this earlier, they were happy to return and provide the service at no extra charge despite the extra visit. They responded very quickly to my email inquiries and even sent a technician right away. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He found the entrance where the mouse was coming in & out of the house as well as the cause of the fruit flies issue. He took care of both quickly and expertly. We couldn't be happier at the great response and service offered by PestNow! We would highly recommended them for any pest service needs. read more

With all the competition in this area for pest service, go elsewhere if you're seeking reliability. I booked the quarterly treatments with PestNow which has to be easy money for them...$89 to spray the outside of my house every 3 months after the initial $99 service. The second service was scheduled automatically and I received an email telling me which day the tech would come, noting if I wanted indoor service it could be done as long as someone was home or I could reschedule...seemed convenient enough. Well, I stayed home and no one ever showed up. You'd think Pest Now would make themselves available for an appointment they proactively scheduled. I waited to be contacted because mistakes happen, but no word after a weekend and two more business day. When I responded to the email to ask why no one came, I received no response. I had to call to cancel my service. No apology from the customer service rep who canceled it for me, so I guess they don't need my business, or yours. read more

For our termite inspection a nice young man came, did his job, showed me what was what and literally told us that he would note past treatment (which was disclosed as required by law) but that there was no evidence of present infestation and that he would write it up as not needing treatment. A few days later we were informed that termite treatment was necessary. Since we are selling our house, we have no choice but to comply. However, the technician seemed sincere and it is our opinion that someone altered his report and/or he was overruled in a possible attempt to win business for this company, which of course we would never use now. Corrupt, dishonest, and extremely disappointing. read more

I will no longer use this company. As I had an inspector show up smelling like weed and I was assured that that he was no longer allowed to do inspections, well that was a not the truth as that inspector showed up to another one of my properties. I will ensure that my company uses another company that is more responsible and is drug free. read more

I first used this company for a home inspection, and it could not have been a better experience. I then signed up for their termite warranty because I live in a damp, wooded area, and figured it's a termite's dream. As it turns out, I had termites all over the front of my house in May 2014. I called, and they came out to inspect. They told me the warranty only covered the front of the house, but to be cautious, I should have all three sides (end unit townhome) treated. So I scheduled the service for between 11am and 1pm on May 6, 2014. I was not home, but my mother agreed to come over and let the technician into the back yard. She arrived about 10 minutes after 11am to find a bill from PestNow on the front door, saying they had completed the treatment. My backyard is completely enclosed by a 6ft privacy fence and the gate was locked. So I called the company to dispute the technician's claim that he had treated all three sides of the house. The office person insisted that they technician said he was able to to get into the backyard, that the gate must have been unlocked. I went home that night to find the gate still locked. I paid half of the $425 bill for treating the side and rear of my home, which was not covered by the warranty. Exactly one year to the day later, and I just killed a swarm of termites on the front of my house. I am now highly suspicious that they did not treat, or properly treat, at all. Don't waste your money on this company!!! read more

We have been customers since 2011. They do quarterly treatments for us but have come out on several occasions to take care of thing. We had a nasty hornet nest that took two visits to destroy but they did a thorough job and the hornets were gone. They also came out to take care of a yellow jacket nest on the ground near the front door, one visit and done. Since we use their regular quarterly treatments they didn't charge us for either. They have come out for follow-ups and to check on other things. Been very happy with them. read more

The results are terrific. Our ant problem is completely gone, and they come right away to address any problem. We've used them for many years, and they if you call with a problem, they come the very next day. The phone reps can be brusque when you call in for service - that's my only complaint. read more

Pestnow has done a great job! We initially contacted them when we moved into our new home because we saw a few ants in one of the bathrooms. They came out right away and took care of the issue after just one treatment. We now have them come quarterly and they've done a fantastic job. We live in a semi-rural area, so there are critters everywhere and the treatments from Pestnow have definitely made a difference. Great customer service by the technician and people in the office as well. Highly recommend them! read more

They are a great company, friendly & reliable customer service and they get the job done. They were understanding when I had to change an appointment last minute and they are also very knowledgeable about pest control. I highly recommend them. read more

I find it very interesting that when the pest control people came to do the third treatment on my apartment today one of them claimed that they had seen live bed bug activity on my bed last week. This is curious because I discarded my bed five weeks ago and there was no bed in my apartment at any time during the weeks that they have been treating my apartment. Maybe I should call ghost hunters and see if they can find the Fantom bed that the pest now employees claim to have seen bed bugs on. read more

Derrick was awesome. He showed me the hot spots that we had around the house for ants, and explained everything clearly and took care of it quickly. I have had a small problem for years that really flared up this year. After having Derrick explain where the ants come from and how they grow I know what to look for, why it's happening, and who to call when it happens in the future. I am supremely happy with the service by the entire company. They were super reasonable in price, the work was done quickly and professionally, and everyone involved gave me great service and I truly appreciate their work. read more

Have you ever paid nearly $700 for a 4x6 inch metal screen? That's exactly what I got for the the money. I had a squirrel who found its way into my attic. Squirrel droppings were left all over my attic and urine as well. The sales job I got at the beginning explained what was found and PestNow could remedy the problem. Shame on me for expecting the professional exterminator would remove and clean the droppings and urine from the attic. Nope! All I got was a 4x6 inch metal screen put over the spot they thought was the entry point. After I complained about them not cleaning up the droppings and urine, it was explained to do that would have been much more $$$. Watch out for the sales job they do on you!!! read more

They will only spray your yard as far as the short hose on their truck will reach. However they will indicate on the receipt that they treated the " yard". After watching them one day I noticed their hose could only reach 10ft past my deck, leaving 90% of my back yard untreated. Again even though the receipt indicated otherwise. If your yard is more then 120 from your drive way either one direction I would not have them treat your yard. When asked about it they indicated I payed for the amount a spay they used and not by coverage area. They also refused to use a back pack to get the rest of the yard. read more

They did the termite inspection when we purchased our home in Ashburn and then I renewed it the following year for $98. They came out for the annual walked around but seemed far more interested in selling new treatments. They never answer their phone. Their website doesn't work for renewals but they do cash checks and charge credit cards. I'm suspect about what experience we'd have if a problem developed from the comments I'm reading here and elsewhere. I won't renew again but will check with Angies List for recommendations. read more

We used Pest Now for several years when we lived in Maryland, and now we use them for our house in NOVA. We have had nothing but good service, responsive management, and knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt technicians (Terry is my favorite). The price is very reasonable, and you are not locked into a contract, which a lot of other companies make you do. One of the reviewers complained that he saw a live spider after his house had been treated, but it's true that it takes some time, patience, and consistent treatments for the bugs to go away. I HATE bugs, so I take my pest control seriously! read more

PestNow did Termite treatment for my house today and I am very happy with the services and result they provided. Especially I want to thank inspector Roy, and technician Cliff & Joe. They are all very professional and friendly. They answered my questions and addressed my concern very patiently. Overall, they are excellent !!! I will continue to use PestNow warranty service program in the future. read more

I contacted Pest Now early last week and Josh came out on Saturday (at our convenience) to inspect for termites. He thoroughly checked out our storage space and around the house and not only found evidence of termites, but also mice (eek!). Today a team of fellows, Jason, JT, and Shane came by my house to treat for termites, mice, and other annoying pests. They were professional, punctual, and thorough. It was also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to neighbors and friends. read more

Pest Now has been our go to pest control company. They get the job done and I think the pricing is fair. Our technician is Nick. Professional, patient with all my questions and responsive to our needs. He is on time, always. I couldn't ask for a better pest control company. I highly recommend! read more

Honest and trustworthy company. I had some water intrusion in my home. Came to find that, upon removing the drywall, the interior wood structures were wet and covered with insects. I promptly applied insect spray and contacted Pet Now from an internet search. Sean came out promptly to inspect the damage. He put my mind at ease stating that there didn't appear to be major damage as far as termites or other insects. He offered a treatment in case but never pushed for it and I decided to just leave as is. I feel that I can trust this company for my numerous rental properties in the future. Good find! read more

They pulled a classic scam on me. I had a problem in my basement but they insisted it must have started in the attic. This was before they ever came to my house. They insisted on sending out someone to treat the actual problem in the basement and also another guy to check out my attic. Even when I called to cancel the attic inspector they convinced me of how important this was. Surprise, surprise - the attic inspector found and took pictures of animal droppings and considerable mold in large areas of the attic. They said I needed to have all my insulation removed at the cost of $3,500. Actually, what really made me think it was a scam was the pictures. He claimed he just took them but then had a hard time finding them on his phone. I had two other guys come to inspect my attic after the Pest Now guy. They found no animal droppings, no mold and said the attic was very clean. This just confirmed my gut instinct. The basement treatment was only $149. This attic scam is where they are looking to make the big bucks. NEVER AGAIN! read more

We have used Superior Pest Management (Northern Virginia) for about three years with excellent results. They make visits every three months. If we have any additional requests, their on-site person does them without question. When someone is home, the person will talk about what was done and about anything additional (e.g., specific inside spraying) that might be needed. read more

Had service for many years and results have only gotten worse since the start. I would have been better off doing it myself than using them. Watch the service techs work it and you will see! Ask questions and get informed people. Not at all satisfied! read more

Great staff, very fast response time, tentative to home needs, a little pricey but these guys get the job done. I had a random spider and bizarre bug problem a month ago (2nd time in the last 2 years, first problem was ants) and PestNow's staff helped right away. I haven't had any problems since. I am sure I could go elsewhere and find someone cheaper but I absolutely hate bugs of any kind and these guys were too fast and responsive. I could not shop around when living with this problem. This is the second year in a row I have used them and I have no desire to go elsewhere. read more

They took advantage of my recently widowed 85 year old mother after they came out for the annual termite inspection by telling her they had to come back out for carpenter bees. The technician came out two days later and spent 15 minutes doing a humidity treatment and taking down a wasp nest and presented a bill for $300. When my mother asked a receipt, the technician said he didn't have it but would mail it. My brother called and about the scope of work and a receipt, Pestnow said they would send it and kept insisting they didn't do anything wrong. They sent two receipts with two different techs names when only one was there and said they were there for three hours. The invoice had a rectangle on it with three X's that my 5 year old daughter could have made up in 5 minutes. Less than satisfactory. read more

Do NOT use this company. The customer service is just Horrible. They will give you the service first time and then come back a year later with the bill for the rest of the year. Its a FRAUD!!! They want me to pay for the service that I never received. ITS A FRAUD company, please stay away from them. read more

After being transferred 3 times just to ask about their termite service, I lost total confidence in their customer service skills. We are looking to replace the termite service we have had with Terminix for several years. Customer service has plummeted with them so obviously that's the first thing I'm interested in. I call the Pest Now number, a "young" girl answers and I ask for an idea of pricing. She puts me on hold for a few minutes and transfers me to someone named Fitz. I explain the same thing. He then puts me on hold for a few minutes and another person picks up. At that point I explain my frustration with being transferred 3x and she explains its because I was talking to a technician as if that was my request. She said I'd have to pay for a termite inspection and after that they could discuss treatment. We've had Terminix for years, there are no termites, we can do better with someone with customer service. read more

Do NOT use this company. The customer service is horrible, they came into the house took maybe 5 seconds to look at the area and "diagnosed" it. I thought they would do a thorough inspection and let me know if any issues (besides of where I pointed at) are there. But they just quoted me the price and practically ran out of door!!! LITERALLY FAST WALK/RAN out of the door. And when I called to let them know I want a thorough inspection, they told me "I should've told them". But isn't that their job to inspect if it's called an inspection? I notified them to bring a ladder prior and they didn't and diagnosed the problem looking from the ground to the roof. And on the phone the guy starts laughing when I said that I'm not satisfied with the inspection. I understand it is a free inspection, but don't they want to acquire new clients and earn the money? To do that don't you need to provide a thorough inspection and good customer service? I have never encountered a company that laughs at their customers. read more

Terrible customer service, had a scheduled appointment today, since their external treatments were not stopping the ants from getting inside the house. The appointment was set for 10-12, at 12:30 I called and was told, the agent was out there at 11:30 and no one answered the door. I was sitting less than 10 feet from the door, it would be impossible for someone to open the outside door, little lone, knock, without me hearing. When I talked to the Mgr, he basically said he pulled everyone off the road, since the roads were so bad and accidents on several roads, and that he hadn't lied since he was 12, and he was tired of dealing me, after 5 minutes. Sounds like he needs a new job. If you can't keep appointments and want $85 every 3 months to keep the ants out and you don't keep the ants out, time to get a new service. 1 star is more than this service deserves, terrible company from the top of down. read more

Superior performed the initial inspection on our home (which came with a termite warranty) when we were purchasing it. After a week after moving in, we started experiencing insect issues. So we contacted them to perform an inspection of our home again and for other treatments....over the phone, they stated what needed to be done, unwilling to view the issues and concerns we were experiencing and when we requested for them to please come and inspect the house....NOPE...they would not. I contacted a local company to come, inspect and treat our house and found termites while performing a treatment to the house. Contacted Superior about their warranty after and I was treated with nothing but disrespect. Rusty, the manager, was condescending, rude, treated me like I was an idiot, constantly stated one thing, yet, minutes later, stating some thing that was totally different from his previous statement. I have NEVER had a company that has made me feel this way before! I think his actions speaks volumes for the way his company does business! Seems to me, Superior is all about the money and could care less about their customers and potential customers!! read more
