AMAZING food!! Been going here since a couple years ago and it's been a while since I've had it. Took my friend to try their food and it was sooo perfect. We had the papa rellena- which was a potato croquette with beef inside bur their side of pickled onions were so good with it! We also had their lomo saltado which is what they're known for and it was soooo good. Everything is made fresh and made to order. Amazing peruvian food always. There's parking and it's such a homey vibe as well. I believe it's a small family business. Try it if you're ever in the valley!!

Cau cau

Excellent food. Wife and I had anticucho and it was delicious. The beef heart was tender, juicy and perfectly paired with the Verde and Rojo sauce. I had cau cau for entree. I just love tripe, chewy texture is my thing. The tripe, potato, and that sauce made my rice super tasty. I will remember cau cau. Wife had aji de galina. The sauce and chicken perfect each time we come. This place makes me miss Peru for real. Definitely check out this peruvian place if you are around.

We have been looking for a good Peruvian restaurant and we finally found one. I cannot say enough good things about the food here. After trying out so many restaurants in the valley. The food was excellent. Service was fast and efficient. The restaurant is very casual which we like. But more importantly we have finally found good and delicious Peruvian food. Will definitely be back.

Always a great experience dining at Peru's Taste. The food is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared + the service is warm and friendly. Though the outside might be a bit deceiving, it's a pretty spacious restaurant that definitely has that classic hole-in-the-wall feel. My favorite dish has to be the Tallarin Verde, which is usually served with steak; they graciously served this with their Milanesa de Pollo as I requested. Their Chupe de Camarones was an unexpected hit for me in my most recent visit. It reminded me a bit of a nice creamy ramen broth and I loved the shrimp and rice in this dish. Overall, there are some great dishes on their menu and so many yummy things to try here!

Hmm, this place is pretty good, but I think if I'm to be fair, the food is a bit more on a 3.5 for one main reason. The Lomo Saltado de la Casa with its Filet Mignon is a bit polite in taste. It could use a bit more flavor, even though it tastes largely like Lomo saltado. I do like the noodle pasta from my brother's order, the Tallarín Verde con Bistec. Other than that, it's a nice spacious restaurant, clean and inviting, and the staff is nice and friendly. I'll give it another shot with another menu item.

Food is sooooo good. Filet mignon Lomo Saltado is our favorite dish here. Not pictured is their mixed ceviche. It was a perfect appetizer to share. Adam our server is an WONDERFUL SERVER & does much more than just bring plates to your table. He's knowledgeable & helpful whenever he serves us. Adam is our FAVORITE. Five stars for ADAM. We highly recommend this restaurant.

It was my first time at Peru's Taste and let me tell you.. this place DID NOT Disappoint. I had been craving Lomo Saltado and I'm happy I found this restaurant. Anticuchos

Have been looking for an authentic Peruvian restaurant and finally the search is over! What won me over were the Anticuchos! A very authentic taste, best I've had in Los Angeles. I also tried their Lomo Saltado and Ceviche Carretilledo all very pleasing to the palate. Presentation was perfect, the care that the chef puts into how the food is plated really says a lot of this establishment, which to me is top class! The service was great, loved the recommendations, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

Oh man, the salsas/ají they had was absolutely amazing & spicy. If I could add the ají to everything I ate I would. The salchipapas were tasty especially with the ají. I definitely recommend coming here to try out some Peruvian food. The server was polite, explained the dishes, & had a nice smile. Definitely will be coming back here for more food.

Does this look like a pan con chicharron sandwich. Does not represent at all our sandwich. So disappointing.

We came in craving a classic Peruvian breakfast and chose this spot because we've had good experiences here before--but this visit was a huge letdown. We ordered the *pan con chicharrón*, and it came out cold and clearly not fresh. The bread notably not fresh, the chicharrón was dry and cold. When we mentioned it, the waiter initially pushed back and said it wasn't possible, then suggested it might just be the *sarsa criolla*. But it was obvious the whole sandwich wasn't freshly made. They did take it back and brought it out again after a while, and while it was warmer, it still tasted like the prior, probably just reheated--not freshly prepared. The sandwich was also tiny lol. For $60, this was really disappointing. We actually left still hungry, which says a lot. The only bright spot was the *jugo de surtido*, which was refreshing but if we just wanted a juice we could have gone elsewhere. Honestly, it'll take a lot to get us to come back, I know restaurants have higher cost like everything right now but if your cutting corners and sizes, you are gonna lose customers.

Solid Peruvian food. Good portions, was made to order so everything is fresh. Good for a late lunch early dinner vibe

I really wanted to love this place because I love hole-in-the-wall or family-type businesses. However, I agree with the other reviews that said this place is just "okay." Let me start off on a positive note. Their service is amazing, and the person who served us was kind and friendly. The food was just okay. The Choros (mussels dish) had far too much onion for my personal liking, as this is coming from a person who loves onions. The fried food plate was my least favorite and hard to finish. However, it was my fault, as I didn't read in the menu that it was fried. Overall, it was okay. It's a little pricey for what you get, even with inflation (I get everyone is trying to survive; including restaurants).

Well this was before I finished it and i remembered to take a picture 7. Lomo Saltado

I got a whole chicken with the sides and I decided to try the Peruvian ceviche. The chicken was good, seasoning was there. It was already precut for me so that's was kind. I was really looking forward to the ceviche and it was not good. The lime juice or the leche de Tigre was very bitter, and it just didn't taste good... Something was off about the ceviche, perhaps it spoiled quickly as my drive back home was an hour, i unfortunately had to throw it away because it did not taste edible. Service is quite friendly, and quick. I'd come give it a second try for the ceviche, maybe it was not the freshest batch or my commute was too long but I don't think food spoils that rapidly. Either way I definitely recommend the rotisserie chicken with the sides!

The ordering process was quick and easy, and my food was ready right on time when I arrived. I was in and out with no hassle, which I really appreciated. The tacos were delicious -- the pineapple added the perfect touch of sweetness that balanced so well with the savory flavors. The sauces were also amazing and really brought everything together. Each bite had a great mix of flavor and freshness. If you're looking for a tasty and affordable Taco Tuesday option, this online special is definitely worth it. I'll absolutely be ordering again!

The dining experience is good, but because of the food, I give it a lower rating…read more When we came in, we were immediately greeted and brought to our table. We were given menus and a few minutes later asked if we wanted anything to drink, and if we were also ready to order. We asked for a few extra minutes. When I saw the menu, I thought, and should have stuck to my gut, that the "Peruvian style Chinese" is a what the hell does that mean situation. Man, did I go wrong for not giving that a hell naah! The waitress brought out some hot bread and butter, as well as cold iced waters for us. We than placed our order. We ordered a chaufa de pollo (chicken fried rice), parihuela (soup), and a jalea (fried seafood). When the food came, all the smells hit, and I just knew it was not what I wanted or expected. I was expecting awesome wok-charred fried rice. What I got was some barely wok-ed rice, no depth of flavor, but lots of a CHINESE flavor/seasoning. HORRIBLE, why would you do this?!? What the hell!!!! This is definitely not what Peruvian fried rice is. No where near what it should be. The parihuela is something I've never had, so I cannot compare it to any others, but from it being my first time trying this, this is what i think. I think it was actually pretty good. It had lots of seafood umami (flavor). It had great depth. It had lots of crab smell, but why no crab? None at all, just the smell. Lots of fish and squid. The jalea, yucca not fried enough, it was slightly under. Lots of lemon-ny red onions on top, which is great as it helps cut all the nasty feelings of eating fried stuff. Only two pieces of shrimps, that were small too! It had 4 pieces of fish, and the rest was calamari. I am fine with it, but the shrimps should be larger. The batter should be thinner. The pieces should be crispier. Nothing great about this dish. It's so easy, yet it was not thought of well enough to make it great. Don't waste your time or money here. It's not authentic. It's not great. It's just passable food. The best thing of this meal was the bread and butter, and the cold iced water. The service was good too, but the food was not up to par. I feel like they may have made my food according to us being Asian, but who knows and who cares, I don't plan on coming back.
