While waiting to view a house in the Gardena area of Los Angeles we stumbled upon this Peruvian Gem. The waitress only spoke Spanish so I knew the food would be amazing. We were seated and given menus that were beautifully made and easy to read. The waitress took our order and provided us with samples of the house made juice. The food was very good and authentic, you can tell it was genuinely made with love and care.

This place is a hidden gem. The workers were kind and the food was amazing. Definitely coming back.

This place is very nice great service smiles and all. First of dang my food was fireeee I loved the Lomo Saltado great taste juicy and all the cuts of meat they use are awesome and no fat. I enjoyed it heavily. Forget Inka pollo this is my spot now.

Easy parking in the plaza. I have tasted better Lomo Saltado somewhere else. It did not taste as I expected. The employees barely spoke English, which made it hard for non Spanish speaker to order.

Small restaurant located inside a small plaza on Western Ave, sitting capacity is for about 22 people. Music is blasting the place from 2 different angles; the dining area and the kitchen. Large screen playing music like it's karaoke night, sometimes with music videos too. It might be ok for a bar but this place doesn't even sell beer so that's something that was rather confusing to us. Service was very friendly and very polite but I wish they start asking their customers if the noise is too loud or not, so they can make an adjustment, especially when we were the only two customers at that time. We didn't ask because I avoid upsetting anyone who has access to my food, if you know what I mean... ;) Lomo saltado was nicely done, but it was missing some of the flavors one can only get when exposing the stir fry to the flames so it felt rather homemade, but the meat was very tender and the tomatoes were firm so we enjoyed it. We also had the seafood rice, aka arroz con mariscos, which it was nice too but slightly too wet for my liking and it felt more like a paella. Honestly, one of the main reasons behind the few stars has a lot more to do with the level of noise in this place. The food here is not bad at all but it could use a little adjustments here and there. Unfortunately, they're also using styrofoam for their takeout which is banned in many places nowadays.

AN AWFUL RESTAURANT

Absolutely awful service I would like to commence this by stating that I recognize this place is authentic and is true to Peruvian food, however, the service is atrocious. My family and I came here to eat today and although we were kind and understanding that they're busy and didn't rush the waitress to attend us, she had the audacity to tell us to move to accommodate a bigger party DESPITE the fact that we arrive their 20 minutes earlier and didn't even have our order taken. Sinceramente, yo trabajo mucho y soy una persona buena que me tratan así en esta manera- si eres Latinoamérica, yo te sugerí que NUNCA VENGAS en este restaurante

I came here with a friend and we loved their food. Ambiance was pretty quiet since it was just us two for a while. Very clean and lots of nice artwork. Service was quick and our server was very attentive to our requests. The items we ordered were all very tasty. See photos. We also ordered a pitcher of passion fruit juice which was very refreshing. If you want to try some authentic Peruvian food, come try Peru Chicha! Not featured was their El Chupao but it was very filling and delicious.

My supervisor recommended this spot. There are lot of great chicken spots like Chicken Maison but…read morethere's a reason why this spot is on the Michelin-Guide AMBIANCE Parking: Small parking lot (5 cars) and then all is street parking. Seating: No-frills setup but good art to feel like you're in Peru. Good for small groups, inside seating for about 20 people. Vibes: Welcome to Gardena! Nothing flashy of mainstream LA but you can appreciate its local charm. Very much a local, no-hype spot. You walk in, smell the chicken roasting, and already know what you're getting into. It's all about the food here. FOOD / DRINKS: 2 Piece Chicken & 2 Sides (Recommend) This is the main event. Juicy, well-seasoned, and that rotisserie flavor really comes through. Pollo a la brasa is a Peruvian staple known for its roasted, marinated chicken cooked over heat for that smoky flavor --and this delivers on that expectation. Signature aji sauce - garlic, peppers, lime, cilantro. The beans were hearty and filling, and the coleslaw helped balance out the richness of the chicken. Finally the tortilla provided nice savory and comforting flavors. Nothing overly fancy, but they do the job well. Chicha Morada (Recommend) Refreshing and slightly sweet--perfect to wash everything down. It's a traditional Peruvian drink made from purple corn with fruit and spices, giving it that unique flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Straightforward and efficient. Gets the job done. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Awesome! Good food, reasonable prices and a pleasant experience. It's a solid spot for Peruvian rotisserie chicken. Nothing fancy, but that's the appeal-- straight to the food. If you're looking for some Peruvian flavors, this is your spot. TIPS: * OG Location * Don't skip the chicha morada

I ordered Pina colada and it's was on the rocks as well the margaritas. Dinner was delicious as usual. Other people arrived for dinner And stayed for the dance without the bracelet which meant no cover charge for them. Cumbias were minimal and the Disco was non existent. I asked the DJ exclusively to put the disco music on, He put on 3 songs no one's ever heard of and continued with merengue and salsa. The place was SUPER hot no Air conditioner at all not even fans. It's an older crowd which is a plus plus with no drama. It's an ok place to get dinner and a night out. 80s music must be updated and don't call it cumbias because it's mostly merengue and salsa which is played on Fridays supposedly. Waitresses are tired so not very friendly and take a while to come back to the table, Will return as the food is good but will bring my own fan hopefully the blender is working and will NOT expect good Disco music.

We decided to stop by to eat at the location, we figured we would at least get a nice hot soup for a change...we quickly turned around when we saw the giant C health grade on the outside of the restaurant. We have been ordering from this location, no wonder their soup always arrives cold, their fires are under cooked and their sauce is always super watery and runny. Please do yourself a favor and make sure you read up on the health grade for this location. The fact that they haven't been re-inspected in almost a year is alarming. We will stick to the Torrance or Redondo Beach location, they never disappoint!
