Haven't visited this place for a while and was craving some good chicken. Place did not disappoint service can use some hep the may be understaffed but food was on point. Took a bit to get seated and even paying the bill was hard but small price to pay for delicious food. Got the pescado encebollado the whole chiken and a seafood dish. Will recommend all of them. I like the intimate family ran feeling however they maybe need more sense of urgency and friendlier people serving. Over all if you are just looking for good food at a chill place this is def place to be

Be careful in judging this place on their abysmal Yelp Rating - it seems to be both a nightclub and restaurant and most of the one star reviews are actually for the nightclub. We came for lunch on a Sunday. Service was quite slow and we were largely ignored after placing our orders, but the food and drinks were delicious! Our server completely disappeared after taking our orders and we had to flag down someone else for the bill. My ceviche was delicious!

Me and my mom love Pollo inka. We usually come in on Friday night and it's usually busy. Yesterday it wasn't so busy so we got sat right away. Our server was very attentive and kind, he was a younger guy. The food was delicious per usual. We got the Anticuchos de pollo and Lomo saltado. The ambience is nice and it's so spacious in there. Always look forward to coming back!

El Pollo Inka has been around for many years and was my first introduction to Peruvian cuisine. The meal started off with a bowl of their pollo gallina soup, it could have been a bit hotter, but is good with the hot sauce mixed in. I've always liked their Lomo Saltado, especially with the Aji Amarillo sauce. The sautéed beef, red onions, tomatoes, French fries and rice is a great combination, especially smothered in the delicious green sauce. It's an okay restaurant to meet your fix for Peruvian food in Gardena. There are better places in Hollywood like Mario's or Los Balcones.

No red onions, no bell peppers, no tomatoes not even the right color. This is the chicken and bean plate ... just a waste.

The service sucks really bad here. If you order from kiosk there is no way to get refunded your money. I wouldn't say they are racist but I was sitting in the front for awhile and no one came to help me far as if I am dining in or ordering to go . There is a huge sign that states to wait to be seated. Soon as a couple came in they were seated immediately , should we guess the ethnicity ?!? So I'm sitting here like wtf , the manager stated oh they seen the order and you sitting there so , sir that could've been me or the couple that came in because they were literally at the kiosk ... can't eat here again , lost $21 bucks because apparently they can't refund from kiosk ... he gave me chicken breast for my troubles ... no I want my $21 dollars. I don't even like chicken this is for a family member ... this place was a let down ... for sure , horrible service with a dash of racism ... even after I said your service is horrible he acted like oh sorry just to fan me off so yes I said wow still bitchin' very unfortunate. Will never come here to this establishment again. I wanted to do my part and write a review because this was my first time coming here and it was horrible. Then I'm like so what if I'm alone ... people can't dine in alone ?!? ... just very confusing interaction. The woman who approached me very rude.

I probably didn't get the full experience of El Pollo Inka as I'm on a budget and honestly only came in to use WiFi, so yes I got the cheapest thing on the menu, aguadito soup. They don't have outdoor seating for my dog, who is technically a service animal, so I kinda got some flack for her being with me...but not only is she a service dog, she has to stay with me now of all times because our place burned down. She doesn't have any signs of aggression so it bothers me when people discriminate or give us the crappy unseen seats so they don't have to look at us i guess? Anyway the waitress was fine, she checked up on me. It took a while to get served maybe due to our location on top of it being lunchtime but I got the food quickly. Can't honestly say I'd recommend soup but I'm pretty sure no ones coming here for soup. It's just like a green sauce chicken rice soup that maybe you'd eat if you had a cold or something. With a roll on the side. I might come to another location and try the more tastier offerings. I don't live near here so it's just as well. Nice music at least.

Bullshit this guy is so dumb

This is not the first time it's happened. So never come back this place. Screw up the order . The guy there today 12-29-2025 really needs to check orders last time same thing don't ask the problem just go elsewhere for food. That way you don't have to pay for bullshit in this shithole.

Seating: usually like to decide beforehand if I want to sit on the patio or inside. Most of the time, I prefer the patio, and that's what we ended up with. Service: Staff immediately offered the heater, which I readily agreed to. Two people spoke and helped us out outside of the waitress, meaning they were constantly checking in on us. This checks out similar to the service I received last time I was here. Food: We had nachos. I had mole and the chido way cocktail. My boyfriend had dark Mexican lager and cochinitta pork dish. I was really happy with our The food was excellent, and my cocktail was truly exceptional. It was on par with some of the best fancy cocktail bars I've visited, yet prices were more reasonable, typical of a restaurant. The mezcal was smoky and delicious. I also noticed that most of their cocktails are tequila and mezcal based. You should get a cocktail if it's your first visit. Vibes: It's always loud, especially at its peak on a Saturday evening. I can overhear bits and pieces of conversations from three tables next to me, but somehow it all fits perfectly. Suddenly, a live mariachi band started playing an emotional Ballad. It's always cool when I run into live music when I'm here. I like it here! Wanted to let you know that they seem to have slightly increased the prices vs the menu? It wasn't updated on the menu, but for example my Mole Negro was $1.50 higher at checkout mentioning so others are aware.

We weren't really starving, just wanted to check the vibes, try the food and see how it was. Unfortunately, things just weren't how we were expecting. We love mexican food and we are used to the food trucks that we can find everywhere in LA. I used to have tacos from the taco truck across the street from me when I lived in San Pedro and they were just perfect, simple and on point. I think I had that idea when I ordered the taco, but it wasn't really what I expected. It was bigger and looked beautiful, but the amount of spice was extremely high, which didn't even let me taste the flavor. And on top of it, the salt felt off too. Too much spice, not enough salt. My fiance ordered tamales, and the mole was more on the chocolate side than anything. The flavors just didn't match. Service wise we have nothing to complain about. They were nice and helpful! It's just the food that wasn't good for us.

The bakery is tucked into a small strip mall, and while it was buzzing with people inside, I'll admit I felt a bit intimidated approaching--there were two men outside staring, and I wasn't sure if they were customers or just loitering. Once inside though, it was a completely different vibe. The place was busy, with lots of people grabbing pastries, and the energy felt lively and welcoming. The conchas were fresh, soft, and had just the right amount of sweetness--you can tell they're made with care. Prices were very affordable, which made it even better. Even with the crowd, the service moved pretty efficiently. Overall, great pastries and worth the stop--just wish the outside experience felt a bit more comfortable. Next time I'll come earlier to hopefully grab conchas fresh out of the oven, and maybe give the tamales or chilaquiles a try.

I personally like the taste of all the spices in the Salvadorian Horchata, the sugar was over powering. We also ordered some pupusas revueltas to go. Those were okay, not bad, but not the best. The curtido was more like a coleslaw. It needed more time to pickle and much more spices. I didn't taste the oregano at all or pepper. The worst experience today at this place. I cant talk about their food, but their service leaves me dissatisfied to say the least. I have been to this place many times and many times I have had a bad experience but they outdid themselves today. My church even celebrated our leadership christmas party there two years in a row $$$!. No more! I called to place my order for yuca sancochada con salsa y curtido at 11am for pick up at 11:30am . I asked for the price and clarified i only wanted salsa y curtido, no chicharron. I got to the restaurant to pick up my order at 11:45am and they still had me wait 30 min. No apology or anything for the inconvenience! The server said the order wasn't in and lied saying she didnt take my order, the girl who took the order left already. Girl! You want to play that game, play it right and stop calling people linda, mi amor, corazón no! It was the same girl lying straight to my face. She finally gives me my food and it is plain yuca sancochada. She wanted to charge me an extra dollar for curtido y salsa. How many salvadoreans do you know eat plain yuca?? I let her know they had lost a customer to which she answer do as you wish, Im not going to argue with you. Ugh! Im discussed by that women's lack of professionalism! Never again while she's there!
