Trusted yelp reviews and was not let down! Got the 3 Birria Tacos with the dipping soup and they were so good!

Don't go here if you're black, I come all the time but today was like a grandma there working ... and I can tell as soon I walked in didn't want me there so I proceeded to try to order, ceviche at that she' tells me they ran out .... Ran out of cilantro tomato and lime juice? There was literally a family eating the ingredients of ceviche on their plate. Everything changing over here, especially in that shopping center read more

Best Latin food I've had in a bit for sure. Small spot, super friendly staff and it's in the same shopping center as a mango spot, so dessert is easy! Super nachos were the best. Get those. read more

One of the best hole (small business) in the walls I have ever had I Always feel welcomed when calling in my pick up order. Chefs kiss to the cook. From the pupusas to the asada fries, tacos, quesadillas...basically everything on the menu you can't make a bad choice here. It feels like a new food adventure every time I go to order. Came here for a quick breakfast, the food took 45 minutes to get to us. We had 4 tables seated before us & two couples came in after. The 2 couples after us received their food before us. By the time we were going to just walk out and leave our food came out lukewarm. The fries to my lomo saltado were soggy plus they looked like scraps. The meat was overcooked and tough to chew. I wanted to cry. I couldn't finish my food. a couple hours later I got an upset stomach. Never going back. The wait time was horrible, the service was not there and the food wasn't worth it. read more

Lomo Saltado was delicious. Great quality meat. Amazing flavors. Home made tortillas Fries cooked perfectly and not soggy but I ate it in the restaurant. Super clean place. This place has cockroaches I just seen 4 on my table I walked out and left took so long to bring my food

Seen this spot when I was searching for breakfast near me. They have Spanish gospel music playing, loved that. The menu is completely in Spanish but they have plenty of pictures to go by. The two ladies working were very friendly. I got 2 pupusas; bean & cheese and steak & cheese. They were good, wasn't a fan of the salad stuff. All I needed was green sauce and I was straight! Next time I'll try the quesa birria tacos. read more

Talk about first impressions. We were gonna go to the restaurant next-door but they were too packed and decide to give this restaurant a chance. And it was the best decision we made and in my opinion it was better than the restaurant next-door. To be honest, it's been a while since I have eaten a homemade meal that did not taste like a franchise restaurant . The food was fresh and tasty. It felt like mom was making the food in the kitchen. I ordered Lomo Saltado and my wife ordered Saltado de Pollo end it was go to the best ones we ever had . My wife mentioned that it is better than most restaurants we have been to. Even better than a big popular one that everyone goes to. And we also ordered a hot chocolate that had enough chocolate on the bottom to make a new cup afterwards. It was really good I'm not kidding. And customer service was excellent. The man that served us was very patient and explained everything to us. And we even got to meet the cook, which happens to be the mother of the young man who greeted us. No wonder the food tasted like it was made at home. It was made with motherly love. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I guarantee you will not regret it. God bless you guys and thank you for the wonderful music in the background. It's good to go to restaurant and actually enjoy a meal without having to worry about the outside world. Your food truly is from El Cielo. read more

El Cielo - These are the worse chilaquiles ever. No sauce what so ever I had to add sauce the I got from another place. Dry no flavor. - Peruvian Near Me - Gardena, California

Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them. read more

Can't go wrong with their Chapin breakfast takes me back to when my mom used to make that at home. I've also had the Chilaquiles super delicious and fills you up. Wonderful service. What I like is that food is made fresh, it's not a fast food joint so you'll be happy once you get your food. It's located on a busy street and once you step inside you can see how clean the restaurant is maintained. They have big screen TV for entertainment I highly recommend El Cielo read more

The Friday before Christmas and wondering what to eat. I was already running around finishing up last minute errands trying to catch stores before closing. Then I say some pupusas sound so good, but I needed a place that was on the way home as I wasn't trying to backtrack. I remember seeing this spot in passing and wanting to try it, so I did just that called ahead, placed my order, picked it up and headed home. According to what I read the tortillas are handmade it's a quaint spot, located in a strip mall, drive too fast and you'll miss it. The chicharron/queso pupusas gave me life and the price wasn't bad. I will return to try more of their menu items. read more

I went here because I LOVE tacos and I live close so on Tuesday I stopped on my way from exercising and it is a nice little spot for lunch I guess BUT NOT Chicken tacos. I purchased 4 and they were HORRIBLE!!! They used diced pieces of chicken breast!!!!!!! It chicken was DRY and over cooked!!!! This was 12:15 pm no reason for anything to be dry that early. They BARELY put cilantro and onion (you could literally count the pieces of cilantro!!) Look, if you want delicious Chicken tacos, keep driving a little further down El Segundo to RICO's Taco El Tio on Van Ness! You will Thank me later! read more

Stopped by during the weekend because I heard el cielo has Birria now!!! And let me tell you, it is delicious. The meat is super tender and the consome full of flavor. I'm sitting in El Cielo after having had a breakfast burrito. My momster and I each had one and could only finish half. They have an interesting menu and I'll be back to try more. In addition to the burritos they make their salsas on site. Not for those with weak taste buds. The handcut fries were great. The best thing about this place is that it's family owned and it shows in the service. I'm giving five stars because customer service matters, businesses like this need our support. read more
