I love the bean and cheese pupusa and the spinach and cheese pupusa. I need the Tuesdays Special back of the Pupusa and Tacos.

This place is such a hidden gem tucked away in a little pocket of Gardena! We first tried their pupusas as takeout a while back, and they were so delicious that we knew we had to come back and dine in--and I'm so glad we did. For dinner, we ordered the parrillada, and it did not disappoint. It came out sizzling hot--a huge platter loaded with carne asada, chicken, shrimp, longaniza wrapped in bacon, veggies, fried yuca, and perfectly cooked potato slices. It also came with a small pot of beans, guacamole, and a side of curtido that added the perfect tangy crunch. It's listed as a meal for two, but honestly, there was plenty for three (maybe even four) to share! Service was good. Very amicable people when i ordered take out in the late afternoon. The restaurant is the front & in the back there's billiards & beer. You get a kinda homey feel. I wish I could say something good about this place but I can't I saw on Groupon for free at this place you would get 30 percent cash back on your first order then 10 percent after that. BUT the sad part is NO ONE working there spoke English or Understood about or how to use Groupon the staff made me feel very uncomfortable they did not even try with me the person I tried to talk to quickly said NO ENGLISH turned and waited on someone else. Heaven!!!!! If you want real authentic salvadorean food this is the spot! Such a friendly environment and they make you feel at home. Their service was bad also, we ordered 2 orders of pupusas one order was 2 pupusas and the second order 1 pupusa and when we arrived to our hotel not far from this place discovered they forgot my order of 1 pupusa. I called them to tell them and she said they placed all three pupusas in one plate. You could not even tell their was 3 pupusa in one plate that's how skimpy with cheese they were. I would order at least 3 times a month because a lot of the food is tasty. Unfortunately for the soups they don't have appropriate containers and it caused a lot of them to fall out. They also changed the bowl sizes at least 3 times with the same cost. They send me a-lot of times different pupusas from what I wanted but I always take a picture for proof with Postmates. Now when I ordered the last time, a unprofessional lady told my Postmates driver that I was a very complicated customer and that I would always "lie" about not getting my food. It wasn't smart from her side because obviously the driver told me about it. I always spent $50+ and if there was something missing, Postmates requires proof so obviously there was something wrong. That lady should really watch her nasty mouth. read more

The restaurant is horrible. I would avoid coming here. Food is pricey and it's tasteless! Restaurant is weird. You walk in and it's a normal dine in restaurant then if you look towards the back of the restaurant there is a white door with a sign, which says "warning security camera in use" and you think nothing of it. I'm guessing the people who know the restaurant well, regulars, just walk right in push the door and bam! There's a bar. Sketchy dark, loud music. There's karaoke going on in the dine in restaurant and completely different music at the bar which you can hear. If you're not at the bar behind the white door, you're practically invisible to the waitresses. They can careless about your food order. Never coming here again and if you're contemplating whether to come here or not you're better eating a C restaurant It'll be better than this place. read more
