    Típico #2

I ordered Típico 2 this morning. It was delicious, but pretty expensive $21.22. But again it was pretty tasty.

Bones a tiny piece of meat they remove the meat for the panes they make. Dishonest

Terrible service, overpriced, and don't order the chicken soup, you'll receive bones. Bones.!!! I moved in the neighborhood and had been visiting weekly. But every visit a problem from being served the tiniest piece of xarne asada, no meat on the chicken, always being charge for the little things such as a lime and tired of the servers, with terrible customer service I will never visit again. Overpriced, terrible service and small portions

I've been coming her for many years, even before it changed management... Service is now BAD FOOD IS ALSO BAD... I spoke to the cook and she said that the food was supposed to look like that. I wanted to speak to the owner but she was not there... Anyhow, Do not come here... El Cerro Verde is on Hawthorne and El Segundo... please go there. Better service. I just come here because I like their horchata but lately food has been BADDDD

I grabbed the menu myself because they never GAVE ME ONE.

If they had a zero star, they need that lol. This place is horrible place to dine in. They didn't give us no menu, I had to go grab myself one! The girl was all confuse on the order for take out and dine In. Very slow, she wasn't active. I haven't even ate because I wanted to walk away, but I already order my food. Nobody greeted us. I'll give it a 0/0. Don't waste your time here. I LEFT LOL. PLEASE STOP SERVING FOOD IF YOU CANT SERVE FOOD OR SERVICE.

    Tamale de pizque

My dad introduced me to this place. It's affordable and the food is great. Today I had tamale de pizque. I also enjoy the breakfast from there and if could they pupusas are amazing! Great size and not lacking on the fillings. Highly recommend to anyone that loves Salvadorian food.

    Pupusas de arroz

I found a new place to have delicious pupusas. This place makes the pupusas very fast compared to other restaurants. I had the pupusa revuelta de arroz and quest con Loroco both were flavorful, crunchy and fresh! I also have had their tamales, sopas, and pastelitos. All A+++++ If you haven't tried and looking for a place, try this place :)

Super delicious. The creamy seafood soup is really special, not too heavy , good seafood flavor with half a crab, clam shells, shrimps, etc.

Juan was awesome -- very informative, even shared a little history of Pupusa's :) Nonetheless, the service was great but the food ** chefs kiss ** was phenomenal! We got 6 pupusa's -- 2 Bean & Cheese, 1 Pork & Cheese, 1 Al Pastor & Cheese, 1 Garlic & Cheese and 1 Asada & Cheese -- the garlic & cheese was our favorite, but all of them were phenomenal! Thank you, Juan, for the experience! I will be back!

We came a couple of months ago and had their loaded yucca fries with carne asada as well as some pupusas. The meat on our fries felt really low quality-- the best way I could describe it was it tasting like frozen hamburger meat-- and gave us indigestion for the rest of the night, which was really disappointing to experience. Today we unfortunately experienced some really rude service. My bf ordered a plain water and we were given a fresco ensalada (no big deal, he likes it) We don't eat pork and ordered fried yucca on its own, just yucca frita. We were given a plate of yucca con chicharron :( I told the service we just ordered yucca frita and we were told that we did not specify that for her. I explained that we don't eat pork so we sent it back and were met with a displeasing look. I said we didn't want to yucca anymore since we had a lot of food already and she said "the kitchen already made it." So I said it was fine but just the yucca this time and she came back with the same exact plate just without the chicharron-- no visible plate change. Needless to say for the price, decline in food quality, and rude service, it's not worth coming back. At least not for a while.

We started with the ensalada, which was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. For pupusas, we ordered the revueltas, loroco con queso, and frijol con queso. We tried both corn and rice dough, and honestly, both were delicious. My personal favorite was the frijol con queso with the rice dough- so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The yuca frita was exactly how it should be: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The chicharrón was cooked perfectly as well, and the homemade green salsa that the sweet lady helping us made was the perfect addition. She was so kind, welcoming, and always had a friendly smile, which made the experience even better. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant is. It's spacious, with plenty of seating whether you're coming with a large group, your family, or just stopping by for a meal on your own. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back. Next time we're bringing my Salvadoran in-laws- I have a feeling this place will get their authenticity approval too! Spanish!

So many five star reviews, I'm here to add another!…read more Ordered online, picked up for lunch, what a treat! I got 3 pupusas revueltas to go. Service was quick, there is a big dining room with plenty of seating in case you want to dine in, looked very clean. Massive pupusas with a lot of filling, not one of those restaurants that give you nothing but masa, these pupusas were legit. They come with Curtido and the usual salsa roja. So much flavor packed into these things, these are some of the best pupusas I've ever had, good size and they do not cheap us out on filling. Definitely try em if you're in the area! Parking on the street, or in the back very limited in the alley.
