Nice ambiance with great views of the golf course. Good selections for dinner which reasonably priced. Service can be inconsistent.

I started with the burrata appetizer, which had beautiful flavors with the beets and citrus. It was absolutely delicious. For my main dish, I had the risotto, which was rich and perfectly cooked, topped with a poached egg that made it even more indulgent. Dessert was incredible. The lime tart cake was fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to end the meal. The overall vibe was warm and inviting, making it a really enjoyable brunch experience. Our server was on top of everything which was wonderful.

It is a treat to have. Few places in northern Colorado can compare to the quality of food. I think it is on the level of Frasca and Flagstaff House for premier dining. We ordered from every part of the menu and were blown away how great the food was. The drinks were exceptional from the cocktail menu. We ordered a bottle of wine that will become part of our wine racks at home. Finally refreshing to find a restaurant that was actually worth the price. It may be off putting for some who come to an Italian restaurant wanting spaghetti and pizza. This is Italian fine dining. Unless you go to Italy or farm to table restaurants much of the description of food you won't understand. So trust the process and the chefs. The servers explain the menu and what they recommend for best bites. Just go with it and you will not be disappointed. This is Italian. You do get all of your food right away. It's an experience. Italians take hours for their meals (not every day like Americans generally think) so don't expect to be in and out in less than an hour. Enjoy it. It's expensive. But in the age of restaurant prices skyrocketing, you can easily go to a mediocre restaurant and still spend 150 dollars for subpar food that is not worth it (most of Colorado food). Here, you get presentations and tastes you cannot make on your own or experience often. So you pay for this. It's a treat.

We basically ordered the menu like we were in a competitive sport, and not a single miss. Every dish came out like it had something to prove... and succeeded. Yesterday was a beautiful day in Boulder. I spent most of it riding around on my motorcycle, but on my way down from the canyons I had a hankering for some truly authentic Mexican food. As soon as my stomach started growling I knew I had to stop in for a bite. Everything, as always, was perfectly seasoned, balanced, and cooked with love. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is some of the best food you'll ever eat. Chef Johnny Curiel has done an impeccable job curating a near perfect menu. From drinks to dessert and everything in between, there is nothing, and I mean nothing, on this menu that will leave you feeling unimpressed. I've spent practically my entire adulthood in the restaurant industry. I've dedicated even more of my time cooking for, drinking with, and serving the people I love. You can taste and feel that same passion here at Cozobi. As always, I leave impressed and wanting more. Places like this are the reason I keep coming back to Boulder's dining scene, and I'll happily continue recommending Cozobi to friends any chance I get.

Team work was apparent as Austin greeted us and got us started with drinks (helping out Eric). Had to try Dale's Ale. Delicious. We then shared a bunch of appetizers. We did the Nachos with steak (cheese sauce was amazeballs and the steak was excellent), roasted beets (fantastic), fried pickles (delicious), and then Austin brought us by a plate of Hush Puppies (best Hush Puppies we have ever had). We also ordered a cup of their Gumbo to try. Incredibly tasty!! For main courses, my wife and I had the Prime Rib Dip (Delicious), my son had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (fried-he loved it), my daughter-in-law had a burger that she loved. Loved the set up of the place. Very open and airy. Just an outstanding lunch & experience. Thank you Eric & Austin.

We had Chicharonnes ($9) w/ hot sauce for dipping & Chicken Caesar salad ($16). I enjoyed their OB Mama's Little Pils ($7.25/pint). I had their very good Dale's Ale previously. We stopped in again on Sat 8/2325 after our all day visit to nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. Exploring is thirsty work. Very relaxing atmosphere for our afternoon visit. Hours: 11am-2am, much different than the other Colorado places we visited that all closed at 9pm. Highly recommended after our first visit. Thanks again to Brett H. & the rest of Oskar's staff. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and customer service is friendly. However, the menu is al-a-cartè, and expensive, including sauce! Have you ever seen a fast food, or any restaurant for that matter, charge for sauce??? Oh well, we're here, so we tried it anyway. The burgers were loaded with salt, almost inedible, yet the fries had none. Although the fries make up for the lack of salt by being over-soaked in grease. I get it, it's fast food, I didn't expect a gourmet burger; although for the $45 we spent on 2 burgers, a fry, and a shake, it should be! I recommend McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's, if fast food burger is what you want. They taste better, and are a heck of a lot cheaper than Wld Pastures.
