Super cute, average place with a nice patio. We got the Perry Chardonnay, 2 Cobb salads, a Chopped salad and sweet potatoes fries. Everything was good quality and tasty but it's hard to blow me away with a salad and fries tbh. Would come back if someone else wanted to go here but not dying to go here again.

Chopped salad. It was ok, kind of plain but a good serving. The location is lovely and it was nice to enjoy the outdoor seating. I probably would have ordered a burger or sandwich.

Lunch for 4 and the meals were very satisfying. Service was excellent. We're all long time customers of both Union & Embarcadero locations and they never fail.

Perry's is your classic American restaurant and bar. Service on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm was great. No reservations needed. We've been here plenty of times - and it can get really busy past 6pm so if you want to get seated come in around 3-4pm on weekend. You always get complimentary bread sticks with butter, which is just average imo. We usually come in for dinner but this time just came in for apps and drinks. We always get their potato skins which is just sooo good. Crisp bacon, heavy cheese, and potato goodness. Definitely a shareable appetizer since it is very heavy. Got the Garden party cocktail which is similar to a margarita, super refreshing.

Perry's is a super cute spot on union street. There's lots of indoor seating and outdoor seating too. The theme is cute with a picnic vibe. I got the tomato soup and the Mac and cheese for food. The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy and the portion size was great. The pasta pieces were slightly undercooked to me though. The tomato soup was decent but maybe could've had more flavor. I also got French fries on the side. I think if I came back I'd try something else and more vegetarian options on the menu would be nice

After visiting this location, I can officially say that I have dined at every Perry's location! The food and service remains consistent across all locations, but this one hold a special place in my heart seeing that it is the original restaurant. I came with one other person, and we shared the calamari appetizer, the spinach salad with fried goat cheese, and the club sandwich with sweet potato fries. This was truly a delicious lunch! The portion sizes are large so I was able to take half of my sandwich and fries home. They tasted just as good that night for dinner. Perry's is a San Francisco staple that you must check out!

Stopped by for a quick drink and a bite. Was greeted immediately by the bartender. He took my order and made a really nice martini with Bombay, well shaken, with a couple of olives and offered me the menu. I was told the chili was a good choice by a close friend and opted for it. I was also served some nice breadsticks and butter. The chili was tasty and had a nice tang. It wasn't too spicy, but hearty and balanced, and totally hit the spot on a cool day.

Perry's is a classic on Union street and my favorite place to grab a quick dinner with friends before a night out. They make the best classics and you can't really go wrong with any of them! Their French onion soup and clam chowder coming piping hot and delicious. Their clam chowder isn't gloopy or overly fishy! Perry's has the best calamari! I love how they use strips and not the O's! The batter is fresh and hot. Also a major shot out to their onion strings that are my absolute favorite. Everything from the kitchen comes out fresh and hot- the way it should be! Service is always great and don't forget to take a matchbox on your way out!

I was craving a great burger and a beer for lunch, and Perry's was just the place! We started with the Grilled Artichoke, which was delicious. However, since it's cut into three pieces, the portions are small. It's easy to share, but I would have preferred it cut in half or left whole. For lunch, I had the Perry's Burger with cheese, avocado, and bacon. That first bite was amazing--it was cooked exactly as I ordered, medium rare. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back!

I remember Perry's from back when I was getting out of college and it was a great fun bar with really good food. I saw the ratings today and ordered up some food to be delivered. I had a mac & cheese and a bowl of chili and a big salad. The food came fairly quickly, which was nice. But when it arrived, the bag that the food was in was wide open. It had not been shut at the restaurant. No staple marks. Inside the bag on top of the mac & cheese and the chili was the box of salad. The mac & cheese and chili were both covered, but the box of salad was wide open from the restaurant, The DoorDash driver carried that bag fully open with my food, fully open exposed tomthe elements. From the kitchen, through the restaurant, walk outside, a motorcycle ride to my place and then past a crowded lobby. There is no way that bag, fully exposed to the elements with my salad inside wide open, was not contaminated. I'm not a germophobe, but I'm also not going to eat a salad that has been fully exposed from one end of San Francisco to another while it's being delivered via a DoorDash driver on a motorcycle. I called Perry's and they tried to assure me that the salad box had been closed and that it must have popped open. I sent them a picture showing that the box had never been shut. You could see where the tab was supposed to go to close it. and the tab was never used. Absolute gross. Poor practice from Perry's. So if you like contaminated food, Perry's is your place to order delivery. This was not a DoorDash issue. This was a Perry's restaurant issue.

We were invited to go to a birthday party today here for a party of 18. It is 53 degrees in the city and we have to sit outside when we had reservations that were booked earlier, not today. I ordered the corned beef hash which was very hard to chew, and lacked flavor. Also, we arrived early and when they told us it was onlgboutside seating, we looked at the seats outside under the awning and assumed that we would be seated there in the empyry seats, but with old grandparents, they still made us wait 15 minutes before the old people in our party could be seated. I was so hungry, but could only eat half of my food because it wasn't very good. So, I ate as much as I could to have enough energy to last the meal, then find another place to eat right after.

Hiden Gem Along Union Street. Their outdoor table is great since we have our Baby Dog in a Stroller with us when we walk in the morning. Got the Eggs Benedict .Magnolia Green Salad and Perry's Burger. We're regulars on Chestnut Street But this place is good to stroll too. Id be Back since we live within the neighborhood...

Perry's was busy during our visit. The burger is what caught hubs' attention. Started with the French onion soup - the broth was thicker than others I've had and it was flavorful. Hubs ordered the burger and he enjoyed it. Fries were crispy. Kiddo ordered the steak sando and I ordered the steak salad. Both were lackluster in flavor - missing seasoning or something.

What originally started as a disappointment became a huge blessing once we found the board room. Feet aching, sweaty, and tired we made our way to this bar. Immediately you could tell it's a local favorite, the ambiance was nice and a great spot to people-watch. There was a cup flipping event which was super fun to spectate, along side the rotating pictures of the bar's beloved pooches . We ordered 2 western burgers, 12 count bone-in wings (half bbq, half Hawaiian), and an appetizer of corn dogs, tater tots, bacon Mac & cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. Later we also added boneless buffalo wings which were so tangy, well-seasoned, and HOT. The western bacon burgers were so delicious, crispy bacon, crispy onion rings, and some bomb.com bbq sauce. The wings were drowned in sauce (just how we like them) , the bbq was to die for and the Hawaiian had the perfect little kick of spice for our picky eaters. The appetizer platter was also fried to perfection, with the perfect crunch on the tater tots & corn dogs. The Mac & cheese bites & mozzarella sticks were perfectly cheesed, with an amazing cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks. Along with the food, my boyfriend and I ordered some drinks. I got a margarita and he got a Guinness. Both drinks were good, very standard and well served. The couple behind the bar were very funny and super kind to us being dazed after all the walking. On our way back down to SoCal my brother is still raving about the burgers, this is a MUST-STOP the next time we come up to San Francisco!!

From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the sleek, moody ambiance dim lighting, plush seating, and a vibe that says "stay awhile." He was an absolutely attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Whether it was recommending the perfect bourbon or just checking in with genuine care, Adam made us feel like VIPs without ever being over the top. You can tell he takes pride in creating a memorable experience. The drinks were expertly crafted (the smoked old fashioned was a standout and don't forget the espresso martini), and the small plates were just as impressive elevated comfort food with a creative twist. If you're looking for a place to unwind, a date, or just treat yourself to a night of great service and even better cocktails, The Boardroom delivers. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Adam, you're in for a five-star experience.

Located in North…read moreBeach area with the entrance hiding in a small alley, the restaurant is bigger than we thought with both indoors & outdoors seating. The outdoor patio is definitely a blast for a summer day in SF, also converting to a free Tango class at 6:30 on Wednesday evening. We started with some special drinks as recommended by Ali, the most generous guy you've ever met. We got Japanese Artisan Gin Pomegranate Mint Martini and AB's Espresso Martini. They were so refreshing after we had to walk on some hills in 80degree weather in SF. After that, the appetizers we ordered came out with Caprese Salad & Mahmoud's Delicious Pork Ribs. The portion was huge for just appetizer. It's been a while for me to have that crispy baguette toasted with olive oil & vinegar, nothing could be better than that. The ribs were tender, the bonus point was definitely the sauce as it wasn't too sweet like the other places. You can't miss pizza in an Italian restaurant, so we ordered my favorite Crispy Prosciutto De Parma, Poached Pear. Prosciutto is my love so I'll just order it wherever I go if they have it on the menu. Super crispy, even though it's not as thin as I expected, I'd still order it again when we come back. It's served with a bowl of cheese powder and chili flakes so you can customize your pizza. The main entrees were definitely pasta and we just had our eyes bigger than our stomach. If you don't know what to order, ask Ali and he'll be more than happy to help you with all the recommendations, and even offer some alternatives for your pasta when the restaurant is not too crowded. My favorite was Pasta Dellacasa with Prawns added, mixing of all the sauces they have. It was so rich and I felt like no other pasta we had can be compared. They serve it hot and you can ask for as much cheese as you want for your pasta because they make it at the table for you. The place was really cool since the building was built over 100 years ago. Even the trees we were sitting next to are over 100 years old, which is pretty cool. You can even find the menu when the original place just opened, with pasta price ranged from $2-3.

However, this time I went again with a friend who assured me the food is fantastic and I was a little bit skeptical but it turned out a bit better this time. We ordered a medley of food: the patatas bravas, the flatbread, the albodigas, the crispy paella balls and the crispy cauliflower. I was especially excited for the patatas bravas as I had tasted them before. They were the highlight of my previous time I had dined here. This time was no exception. Exceptionally crispy flaky and fantastic texture with the multiple layers. The crispy paella balls were also excellent, Very flavorful and what a nice slight crunch to their exterior. Unfortunately I was half disappointed by the rest of the food we ordered The flatbread was just alright, and I regretted we didn't do at least one of the add-ons for it as that likely would have improved it a lot. The albondigas were a lot to get through and I'm glad we were sharing the dish. They went well when paired with the other dishes as it was very one-note with getting through each of the meatballs. The crispy cauliflower had good flavor, but surprisingly were far more mushy than crispy. Red Window has a really nice spot on Columbus, great vibe and friendly staff each time I've visited. They have both interior and heated parklet /outdoor seating. However, the food really feels like there's a only a few standouts on the menu and the rest aren't really bringing more to the table.
