Based on that confirmation, I made roughly a one-hour drive to the store the following day. When I arrived, however, I was told that they did not have my order. I had received no email, phone call, cancellation notice, or other communication indicating that there was an issue with my order. The only communication I received from Le Labo was the email telling me it was ready. What made the experience even more frustrating was the way the situation was handled once I arrived. I was not given a clear explanation as to why an order that had been confirmed as ready was suddenly unavailable, and I actually had to ask whether I would be receiving a refund rather than having that information proactively explained to me. I understand that inventory or order issues can happen. However, sending a customer a confirmation that an order is ready for pickup when it isn't, especially when that customer makes a significant trip based specifically on that confirmation, is a major inconvenience. For a premium brand like Le Labo, I expected much better communication and customer service. A refund simply returns the money for a product I never received; it doesn't address the unnecessary time, travel, and inconvenience caused by the incorrect pickup confirmation. I hope Le Labo looks into what happened and provides an appropriate resolution, because this experience was far below what I expected from the brand.

We skimmed both levels, and despite the crowds, everything was well organized, simply displayed, and very clean. Empty shelves dusty and empty. The store looked unkept, racks were messy, and the overall shopping environment felt neglected compared to other locations. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable we were made to feel almost immediately after entering the store. Within about two minutes of stepping inside, we were being followed by asset management . It was obvious and unnecessary, especially since we had just arrived and were simply looking for a few specific items we were there to purchase. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I've experienced something like this at Nordstrom. The same thing happened to me at the Westfield Culver City (Fox Hills) location after years of shopping there without any issue. As someone who has regularly spent $400 or more every visit at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, it's extremely disappointing to feel singled out and followed around the store while shopping. I just had to leave. During this visit, I also noticed other shoppers in the store (not being followed), I guess other race of people do not steal, just mines. We must be followed! I don't have to shop there. Despite what appeared to be suspicious behavior elsewhere, the focus remained on following us instead of paying attention to actual store issues or potential theft. Nordstrom employees should focus on maintaining their stores and treating all customers equally rather than making loyal customers feel targeted. We recently moved to a luxury apartment near by, but because of these experiences, I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack.

A Truly Fantastic Experience at L'Occitane - Citadel Outlets…read more I stopped by L'Occitane at the Citadel while Christmas shopping with a friend, and I honestly didn't expect the visit to be this memorable. We had just finished lunch in the food court, and I dragged my friend inside to try one of the hand soaps. He was confused about washing our hands inside a store, but once he realized it's the best way to actually test a product, he was sold. He protested when I put a bit of hand cream on him (classic guy reaction), but even that turned into a funny moment. The sales team had a good laugh with us before they got busy, so we slipped out -- but my friend actually suggested we go back in to look around more, which should tell you something. We ended up being helped by Kathryn and Silvia, and they were exceptional from start to finish. Both knew the products inside out, offered honest recommendations, and were genuinely warm and personable. I'm already a longtime fan of L'Occitane's lavender hand cream -- the metal tube is iconic -- and I even convinced my friend to buy one for his wife. As an artist, he said it looked like an oil paint tube, and he wasn't wrong. Kathryn and Silvia told us about the gift-with-purchase, and then about the mystery bags -- which were an incredible deal. Full-size products, nothing discontinued, and almost $300 in value. I'm so glad they mentioned it, because we would've missed out entirely. My friend left fully stocked with gift boxes, complimentary paper, tissue, samples -- the whole nine yards. The store itself was spotless, well-organized, and easy to shop in. On top of that, I joined the rewards program, and Kathryn let me know I could even call in the future to hear about specials and have items packed and shipped if I didn't want to come back to the Citadel. That level of service is rare. Bottom line: We would not have had such a great shopping experience without Kathryn and Silvia. They made the whole visit genuinely enjoyable, and I'll happily return to this location because of them. Highly recommend this store and these two fantastic associates.

They were also having a few sales since I went after Christmas. I spent a long time sampling scents and seeing what called out to me. Kathryn was the associate who greeted us and offered us some additional information. She is such a sweetheart and was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She explained products provided some recommendations and we even got some free gifts with purchase. The whole experience was wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. My sister and I got a few hand creams and body scrubs and we left eager to try everything out. I went for the Cherry Blossom scent and have been loving it so far and look forward to testing out new products and scents from this brand.
