The shopping center itself has plenty of parking with validation available in store. I was making a return, but was pleasantly surprised to see how organized and efficient this location is. I stopped to browse and got into line with zero problems. My return was addressed via the online website and I showed the return barcode to the cashier and that was all it took. The validation scanner is right next to each cashier and you put your parking ticket under the scanner to validate this saved a ton of time from me going into my local branch, which is always tremendously crowded. read more

I recently visited the Nordstrom Rack on 7th and Fig in Downtown Los Angeles, and it was by far the dirtiest, dustiest, and most unorganized Nordstrom Rack I've ever been to. Empty shelves dusty and empty. The store looked unkept, racks were messy, and the overall shopping environment felt neglected compared to other locations. What made the experience worse was how uncomfortable we were made to feel almost immediately after entering the store. Within about two minutes of stepping inside, we were being followed by asset management . It was obvious and unnecessary, especially since we had just arrived and were simply looking for a few specific items we were there to purchase. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time I've experienced something like this at Nordstrom. The same thing happened to me at the Westfield Culver City (Fox Hills) location after years of shopping there without any issue. As someone who has regularly spent $400 or more every visit at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, it's extremely disappointing to feel singled out and followed around the store while shopping. I just had to leave. During this visit, I also noticed other shoppers in the store (not being followed), I guess other race of people do not steal, just mines. We must be followed! I don't have to shop there. Despite what appeared to be suspicious behavior elsewhere, the focus remained on following us instead of paying attention to actual store issues or potential theft. Nordstrom employees should focus on maintaining their stores and treating all customers equally rather than making loyal customers feel targeted. We recently moved to a luxury apartment near by, but because of these experiences, I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack. read more

Located in the downtown Los Angeles indoor shopping mall, FigAt7th, this location of the off-price division of Nordstrom had a large selection of name-brand non-outlet made apparel. Since 1973, it has served as the clearance center for off-season/last-season fashion and has now become the primary driver for growth (along with e-commerce) for the parent company. We stopped in on a weekday after taking the train in from DTLB, and still ended up buying a few things that were easy to carry back. The shelves were well stacked, along with a decent selection in both (men and women) clearance aisles (which is where we bought our stuff). Checkout is similar to that of its competitors, with one main queue feeding 2 or more registers....though it seemed to go a bit slow. They have a loyalty program identified by phone number. read more

During my interview I wasn't able to interact as professional as usual. And when a lady set me down she didn't have no questions or no paperwork actually to hand me or to even answer me properly she says she's not even the manager. Also earlier today I called, and she refused multiple times to get the manager. I feel she's very racist due to me following up and she was very argumentative. Also it seems that they do not hire people of color which is a discrimination and abusive power I will be making my complaint with the better Business bureau with Burlington corporate EEOC and the Labor commissioner. read more

Pros: - They have hand sanitizer for everyone to use all over the store - They rearranged the store a bit so the aisles arent as close together, which allows for social distancing. I wish all stores would do this. You feel a bit safer shopping at this location - They have designer branded merchandise (Gucci, Kate Spade, Coach) at a discounted price - Plaza also has a Target and food court - Huge selection of shoes - They validate your parking ticket - Employees are super nice and helpful Cons: - Parking is annoying here. This isn't my favorite Nordstrom Rack location. Parking is very annoying. You enter the garage on 7th street and you have to go in a circular maze to get to the levels where you're actually allowed to park. And parking isn't cheap, even if you validate. This location is smaller than other locations, which means smaller selection of items. Even with the smaller selection, you can still find some great buys. Do a little digging and you will find some great deals! All of the employees were exceptionally nice. Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite stores. read more

Glad this opened in downtown LA! There was a soft opening today. Refreshments like bottled water, soda & Stella Artois were served. As for the food, sliders, Ahi Tuna in a cone, tomato & cheese flat bread & caramel popcorn (the box looked so cute!) were served. In the fitting room section, there's a table and some stools for people who are waiting for their friend/family trying on clothing. Lot of great merchandise around! Especially the shoe section! Customer service was great. Employees were very helpful and accomodating. read more

Organized enough and never too crazy here. It's nice to have this spot in DTLA, since there aren't too many department stores in the area. The times I've been there they had pretty good selections. Trying not to shop, so everything is still pretty expensive for me overall here. However, sometimes you can get good clearance things if you dig enough and are lucky. Got a plain cotton top for $7 on sale. Brand names for lesser than Nordstroms value. Overall pretty decent. Be sure to check out their clearance racks in the back. I believe they validate for parking but you will still have to pay a minimal fee. read more

Very clean and neat. Great purse section, but lacs on woman clothes. Not a big Nordstrom Rack store to begin with but because they don't have children sections then I was expecting a little more. No one was able to help, they like to talk to each other and just watch you walk back and forth. Checking out the guy was very serious and did not try to make any type of conversation when I said " this AC feels so good in here, I do not want to go out side to that heat" he just looked at me and smirk forcefully. Yeah.... I don't think I'll ever go back to this Nordstrom Rack, specially because the walkway from The parking lot to the shops is closed due to construction. Came here Friday and the rude Terrell O. was working the cash register. They blatantly ignored me at first. From the reviews, that may be a common practice here. I wanted to return some shoes I had just purchased and he lied to me claiming, "They were returned already." I told Terrell that was strange because they show on my end not being returned. Anyway, contacted customer service and confirmed he lied. Shoes had not been worn--brand new. I guess they were too lazy to process the return? Also, I had packages to pick up and wow Terrell acted like it was going to strip 20 years off their life to retrieve them. They should seek the therapy needed instead of projecting their trauma and anger on other people. Working the front cashier is not the place for Terrell. All around rude person. And people wonder why stores are closing and many people solely shop online. No one wants to deal with the Terrells out there. Yuck. read more

Great customer service from the security to the floor-staff. My only complaint is the check-out clerk who after I answered " no" to wether I wanted to donate to charity, he replied with: "Not even one dollar" That is something that shouldn't ever happen. Besides that, great experience. read more

This Nordstrom's Rack has the best selection! It's way better than Topanga and Burbank, mostly because less ppl come here. That means more brands and more sizes. The staff is extremely helpful and great conversationalists (not like stressed out robots you see at other locations). I went in today with a bar code from an item I wanted, they not online scanned it to be sure it's in stock, but they also walked me to the item and picked two sizes for me! That's rare at these type of stores. Way to go team! read more

Looks very organized. Clothes are not on the floor. Shoes are where they should be not on the aisle. Dressing room was ok. Restroom was clean not messy. There's arrows to tell where to line up. The security guy was so nice. Definitely get your parking ticket validated. It will cost a pretty penny for an hour here. read more

Items are just so-so and the reason for the 1 star is reflective of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came in to buy active shoes because I work in the area and was in really high heels for work on Thursday. My mistake but I thought it would be temporary so I walk over to 7th & Fig thinking Nordstrom Rack would have reasonably priced comfortable shoes. The price tag that I paid was around $65 which is still high for supposedly "discount store" and I was just desperate, to buy comfortable shoes otherwise I would not have bought them. I went on a lunch break and despite having 3-4 cashiers open, they took their sweet time and did not bother to get more cashiers to help the ridiculous line full of people who come here during lunch break to shop. The wait alone took about 20 minutes!!!! Then, the cashier had an attitude with me. I had asked for another bag to put my heels in and she gave me something that could fit some socks in or even sunglasses and I had to ask for a larger one. She asked me how are you in a tone that was condescending and insincere and when I honestly said the line is a long wait, she just responded "it's everybody's lunch break" as if that is an acceptable excuse to go so slow, yet she rushed me away to handle and care for the next customer. With stinky customer service like this, there is NO WAY IN HELL that I will return to patronize this store or the local T-Mobile next door. Downtown LA is a HOT MESS OF RUDE PEOPLE. read more

First of all I hate shopping. I don't have patience for it and when I do I go in and grab what I want and get out. Today I stopped by because I needed a few things. I found what I needed and something I didn't really need too. I didn't get a chance to see the entire store because as I said I just go in and out as fast as possible. They seem to be doing well. I had High hopes for this Rack store in the heart of downtown. a lot of foot traffic, high-end shops and food services, and people with money. However, the store is rather small, and not many sales to be had. I think the merchandise is just too new to mark down at this time, and I'll probably wait a few more months after the Holidays to come back and see where they stand. The clearance items are what I look for, but they were few and far between at this store. For now, it might be better just to shop at the more seasoned stores, that have more inventory to reduce and more returns after the holidays. It is located in a perfect spot off the parking lot, but just needs a few nice sales to get the traffic walking into its doors. read more

One of the employees, Desirae' ignored me while I waited in line waiting for service. Once I was being serviced by another employee she return back to the cash wrap to checkout the lady behind me. I hate to make this a race issue but it clearly was. I'm a black woman and she's white. She waited for the black employee to service me so that she could service the white woman behind me. My one and only Nordstrom Rack experience was a disaster ! I bought a pair of shoe , wore it for 30 minutes , and noticed something wrong with the back of the shoe and it started to hurt me really badly ! Over the weekend noticed that the shoe went from $60 to $26 on line ! First this this morning I go to return the shoe , and they won't take it back , and won't do à price adjustment. The older gentleman who greats us at the door is the best. I believe he is the security guard , tall with slicked back dark hair. The energy he gives out makes me walk around this store with such a happy feeling and just makes my entire experience 10x better than any store here at 7th and fig & even better than all other Nordstrom's & Nordstrom racks I visit . read more
