Came here to try and sell some clothes. While small, I feel like this location operates much better than some of the other locations I've been too. The QR code waitlist runs much more efficiently here and I was seen within 20mins of arriving. Shout out to Tammy for having pleasant and fun energy. Some reviews of BE across the different locations have said they feel like there are sellers who are kinda snooty and self-aggrandizing. Tammy is not that way at all. She is warm, helpful and easygoing. Parking can be challenging if you can't find paid street parking out in front. Personally, I like to park across the street near the Senior Center but further up because there aren't meters near the residential part. If you can manage it with all the bags of clothes you might have, this is where you'd want to park when visiting this location. read more

It's a store full of great selections of style and accessories. Great Fashion for a budget and most everyone will find a super look for everyday wear to an occasion ! Accessibility: there is no parking lot specifically for this place, so that already makes it challenging to get here. Once you get onto the sidewalk, the door to enter is a single pull door, and the isles inside the store are a little tight. The changing rooms to try things on are also too small and don't have seating. These are the reasons for 4 out of 5 stars. Experience: there was one male employee who was super friendly here, and I found a shirt I liked and bought. Within walking distance of Crossroads if you wanna shop til you dropon WeHo without dropping all your money in the process. This spot has a nicer vibe and the price range is about the same. I found nice skirts starting at fourteen bucks but didn't get anything. They have stuff I can easily find at Goodwill as do all these types of stores. Like the combat boots and generic stuff everyone buys. Not bad, less people because it's a smaller store. This part of the boulevard seems to have better parking. read more

When I first got to the store, I was so excited. When the manager Chloe arrived I told her I was so eager that I had been waiting out front since 10:20am for them to open at 11am so I was happy to see her and she just rudely looked at me and y dog and said we only allow service animals...which my dog is btw and I told her that. Then she opened the door and while I bent over to grab my items she held the door for the ppl who arrived after me and when I turned back around to go in she let the door shut in my face when my hands were full. Then the people who she held the door for she also let them go first and started going through their items before me even though I was there first and even scanned the code and was the first to checkin. Then after 20min she tells me I need my id and I show her a copy on my phone and she tells me a digital copy won't work...so I gathered my dog, my items and had to leave. You'd think this is something the employees would announce as you walk in, after greeting you, like they do at crossroads. Chloe was so friendly asking questions and engaging to the people she chose to see before me but then when it was my turn she continued to be a jerk. I heard her tell the people she let go before me that she has been with the company 5yrs and if that's the case she should know by now to treat customers equally. 0/10 I do not recommend coming here it was a waste of time, a terrible experience and right after Christmas. Go to crossroads instead, it's down the street, they offer you more money and most importantly they are professional. read more

DO NOT WASTE TIME DRIVING HERE WASTING TIME AND GAS. When I went in, I told them I sold in other stores before and I spoke to the Manager saying I've been to Long Beach & Santa Monica. So I also brought in a bunch of expensive vintage jewelry and new boutique jewelry that are expensive meaning although they're not designer brands, I paid over $300 plus for these items. I brought in 5 large bags and lots of jewelry such as rings, necklaces, earrings and out of everything, they paid a mere $16 cash or whatever trade. I asked why they didn't buy expensive trendy boots and heels I had and they had no valid reason but when I asked about buying Halloween items they were honest and said they were fully stocked, which they were. I even checked their inventory and most of their stuff was lower end H&M stuff and a bunch of low end designer items nothing cute or extraordinary, or even trendy. I've been a seller at a lot of places and even Long Beach was the best in terms of buying and too bad they closed. This location was stingy with buying and the cashier was dumb when she asked "cash or trade". Clearly when someone is not buying anything it means they want cash, but these folks don't have any education or basic common sense. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DRIVING HERE. I AM SUPER HONEST WHEN I SAY THIS PLACE IS A REAL DUD. You wouldn't expect it from such a trendy cool area but all their stuff here is seriously JUNK. No wonder why they passed on my stuff which makes sense now. I gladly took my items over to Crossroads West Hollywood or I recommend just driving to Wasteland. These higher end consignment stores have better taste and you'll get more sold. When you are cleaning your designer closet, just pass on this dump. You'll thank me later :) read more

The Nicest people that work there. I'm usually in a hurry photographing a model and have to pick out or they're picking out something quick that they like. A few of the staff can quickly check out my model and show him options making the experience very special. Oh and the RINGS I get sent Male and female Rings by the bags filled weekly for more high end actors... so after a few tries I just bring them to the fabulous people at Buffalo Exchange and they buy em! I'll start by saying that I used to work for Buffalo Exchange and I loved my first boss and liked the company. But every time I come into one, I feel like they cater to the poor and dispossessed. In fact, it's so bad, that I came to love one of their rivals, which was set up by the brother-in-law of the founder, because they knew something that Buffalo Exchange never learned - that used clothing can be sold and presented in a way that didn't make it look like crap. The sheer number of things they have packed into this tiny store is overwhelming and I'm at an age where I don't want to hunt so hard to find nothing, which is the case with them. I used to get a monthly mpay of $10 to spend and when I left, I had a total of $190 dollars in them. Why? They never had anything I ever wanted. If you want second rate thrift store finds in a musty dank environment, this is your place. If you want a place that respects that used clothing doesn't have to look like or be set up like crap, there are plenty of other places to go. I thought that coming here would be a trip down memory lane, but coming in here I remembered everything that I hated about the store. They treated us employees - the non-management and non-administrative class as bad as their stores looked. And that was all I could think of when I went in. The good news is that they underpaid and overworked us so much, that when we went to other jobs, we received 2-3 times the pay for 1/2 and 1/3 the work. So, they may have been good for that? But at a time when someone running for president is saying that enslavement resulted in job skills for the enslaved, it's time to rethink that. They were exploiters then and after seeing this location, I have a hard time thinking that they aren't exploiters now. read more

I've Always found gems in here. Today I got a black blazer dress that was priced $28 but on sale marked down to $14. A STEAL I know! And a black leather adidas jacket $35. Fully stocked thrift store always-- just wish it was a larger store for wiggle room. Definitely will find yourself bumping someone while browsing the aisles. This thrift store is not like others price wise-- so if you're looking for $3-8 pieces you likely won't find it here. However, you'll definitely find some good pieces. Had to leave a review because this place gets a lot of bad reviews- I went in today to sell some clothes - The experience was very pleasant. A crewmember named Eden was the buyer. She was so lovely- She had a wonderful, happy disposition and positive energy. She took in 90% of what I brought. Here's the thing for those of you who get upset when they don't take any of your clothes - It Has to be what would sell right now - it has to be on trend - and not super generic - they like plain "everyday wear" things but unique or a decent brand. They really like quality fabrics- like 100% cotton, linen - etc A few things that I had that were Hanes, Pacsun, Amazon tanks - etc she didn't take. But I had a few pairs of Levi's jeans - other really unique 90s style jeans, Lee brand - a few "like new" tank tops - adidas and champion brand - A lot of vintage one of a kind t shirts and tanks - all in great condition - Harley Davidson crop tank, Fleetwood Mac concert tee - she took all of that. I hope this will help anybody who is looking to sell - To give you more perspective- the woman in front of me had three garbage bags full of clothes- but they only bought a few pieces. What you bring them really matters. Before you lug your entire closet there.. Anyway. Eden was so great to me and I ended up spending my entire trade in value on new clothes because I was lucky and they had a great selection today! read more

I was there 4/30/25 4pm. It was busy 4 people ahead of me. I browsed the racks. It has both MF but prodomiently F. They have low end clothing as far as middle of the row designers I found few for men. They didn't have much large sizes for men. They seem to buy anything in good to perfect condition that's somewhat trendy or dated. I will come back to buy. Haven't been here in probably 4-5 years but now it looks like where homeless people shop. Took two huge IKEA bags in to sell and didn't buy one thing, I'm guessing because it was too stylish. While looking around I was betting that they wouldn't, lol, and I was right. She said nothing in my bags would move. A brand new pair of custom chucks wouldn't move? Lol. Okay. I came this location to sell some clothes. There was no place to park and I had two very heavy bags of clothes and shoes. The person at the front was so rude. She wouldn't let me drop bags and go park across the street. I have a few choice words I could use to describe her attitude. She was so difficult and I ended up just leaving the store. This is the actual WORST buffalo exchange I have ever been to. The people that work there are super rude. I went there to sell some cloths and while they were going through them i was in the store shopping around. They let me know that my cloths were ready and I picked them up I was selling a brand new item with tags and all originally a $300 item. They offered me 15 which I politely declined and asked for it back....to my surprise they cut off the original tag and threw it away without telling or asking me! I asked for the tag and the person working said "are you really going to make me dig through the trash?" And I said yes because I need the tag to be able to resell it as new with tags! They rolled their eyes and gave me my tag and I said that I really didn't appreciate them cutting off the tag before I accepted the offer. And they laughed said "okay" and went about their business. I'm really not into doing stuff like this but just be careful selling your cloths at this location, I hope this was only a one time thing. read more

Horrible customer service and scam of a service really the website makes it sound like they're a cross trade company and that you can take anything in at anytime. Very inviting and enticing however you take stuff in and they are like only if it's dolce and gabanma or channel or miu miu we take them and there is an hour wait if you are confident you have really high end stuff you are more than welcome to wait. lol. This place is confusing. worse than goodwill. I had clothes from guess, urban outfitters, I had vans shoes, Abercrombie jeans, half of everything had the tags on. They did not take one single item. I wasn't surprised, but what was appalling was the selection of tattered clothing they are hustling for triple $$$. I took a picture of one item of clothing they are charging $75 dollars for a USED PLAIN SHIRT. I had a delightful morning at a buffalo exchange last week! It was a short 15 minutes wait to sell clothes from my personal collection and got nearly $60 in credit. They are picky so go into it knowing they will only buy quality and trending items that they know will sell! I saw other people bringing in bags of junk with them only taking one item. The woman looking over my clothes was super nice. I opted for store credit and found three beautiful dresses, one which was on discount, so paid just a few dollars out of pocket. It was a super fun way to get unusual new treasures in an environmentally friendly way! read more

Cory and her team are aways friendly and helpful with everyone and it really radiates joy in the store. It's really an IT thrift spot too, you will find gems at amazing prices ! Don't hesitate to bring your bag of lightly work clothing because they really take the time to go through everything and it's worth the wait if there is a line. The main reason for this negative review is that the manager at the Melrose location made the 20 minutes I spent there unnecessarily unpleasant! I have spent at least thirty years buying and selling at the Buffalo stores. I began in San Francisco in the late nineties, then when I moved to Los Angeles at the La Brea store and currently at the Sherman Oaks location, and when I am in the Melrose area I go there. I am aware of their business practices, what they purchase and don't purchase and therefore sell, when they have sales, etc. I was excited when I arrived on Wednesday, February 28 at around 11.45 a.m., especially since I would be the first to sell. However, to my surprise, the buyer, a white woman with dark blonde hair, gave me an unpleasant, "What do you want?" kind of greeting. I ignored it. As soon as I walked in with the bags, she started talking about how they didn't buy "fast fashion" and that "from now on they buy only designer and exclusive brands and some vintage." Mind you!, she hadn't even seen what I was selling yet, but even so, she was really rude in the way she communicated it. Again, I didn't say anything. I was going to get another bag from the car and put some money in the meter, but she told me to "HURRY UP" because "YOU can't leave your stuff unattended", even though she had already placed the bags on the counter. I continued to ignore her attitude, but in the three to four minutes it took me to return, she had gone through both of my big bags and thrown everything back into them like trash. She hardly even looked at the other bag; after giving it a glance for two minutes, she repeated what she said earlier--that they only purchase "designer" and "expensive brands"--and she didn't find anything in my bags. Needless to say, I was taken aback, I generally bring vintage and the newest styles which they always end up buying half of what I bring. During this trip, I had some Kate Spade jeans and jacket, a Coach black bag, a Michael Kors purse, and a few "fast brands" that were brand-new with tags from Zara. I knew my stuff would sell later, so I felt it was not worth it to continue dealing with her, and needed to get away from her arrogant demeanor. On the way out I glanced to the cashier and I inquired about purchasing a vintage dress that the cashier was putting away in a box. She declined, saying that it would be donated because no one had purchased it. When I asked whether it would be okay if I buy it, she said no, to speak with the manager. To my surprise this manager happened to be the buyer I just had a bad experience with, I asked her nicely if I could buy the dress. She asked the cashier if the tag was still on, to which she said "No," but then she told me I could have it for $20 because it was on sale from $30.00. I asked if I could have it for 15.00, and she firmly said, "NO!  we don't bargain here,"  I mentioned there are stains and rusty marks and if the dress had been on sale from 30, it would have been 15. to what she said "NO it was 40" then the salesgirl chimed in, " it was 36." Regardless of that, I said "You were going to donate it anyway", and immediately her story changed to "Well, we're not donating it; we're packing it for 'EARTH DAY," What! It will only cost $1.00 on Earth Day! at that point, I knew that she was just being nasty so I just turned around and walked away, shaking my head at the numerous stories I was receiving about a sad dress that no one was buying, and she was fighting for five dollars, when at the end she will put it in storage for a month and give it away for one dollar. If it's really the truth. Why is this woman a manager? She is arrogant, rude, and mean. Despite the fact that, in this situation, it was a small amount of money, she clearly makes poor business judgments that probably cost the store money if not customers. In any event, her actions weren't justified. I'll just turn around and go right back out of the store in the future if I see her again. I have never before encountered such a callous, arrogant attitude from anyone, much less a manager, I only wish I got her name, but if the business is concerned about providing excellent customer service or even just retaining their clientele, they can certainly ascertain who it is by her work schedule, if they do not already know. (Wednesday, February 28 at around 11.45 a.m) On a positive note, following this unnecessary fiasco, I went to CrossRoads, where they purchased my Coach bag, my Michael Kors purses, Kate Spade jeans, one of my Zara dresses, and a few other trendy items I owned. From there, I went to Buffalo in Sherman Oaks, where they purchased a few more items, including two pairs of platform shoes and a pink faux leather motorcycle jacket. read more

I was shopping and also sold, the line went quick and the manager was amazing! His name is Chase and he was so helpful kind considerate and personable!!
