I've been coming to Performance Tire Center for years, and I honestly consider them family at this point. They've always treated me fairly, been completely honest, and consistently provided professional, high-quality service. In a world where it can be hard to find people you truly trust with your vehicle, this shop stands out. They genuinely care about their customers. If you're looking for a shop that values integrity, quality, and customer service, I can't recommend Performance Tire Center highly enough. read more

Performance Tire Center - Tires Near Me - Montrose, California

I've been coming to Hanbek and Performance Tires for almost ten years now for pretty much all required maintenance. Oil chances, ac replacement, tires, etc. and have always received exceptional service. Hanbek is friendly, trustworthy, and does an excellent job making sure all the cars in his shop are treated with the highest level of care. His prices are also highly competitive and straightforward. I would highly recommend Hanbek and Performance to any neighbors in the La Crescenta/Montrose/Glendale Area! read more

Best mechanic i have ever had. Smart, helpful and checks the whole car out as needed. I like Hambik the head guy who is zen with each car making sure all is working properly before you leave. And his prices are fair and better than any other mechanic or dealership! read more

Another endorsement for the excellent service at Performance Tire Center in Montrose. I brought my car in for an alignment after my mechanic did some suspension repairs. Hambik got me in within a few minutes of waiting, and after doing initial checks told me it did not need repairs after all and didn't want to charge me. I still paid him for his time and efforts of his technicians, but I was impressed with the superior service. I'll be back next time I need an alignment. read more

Just met Hambik and his friendly team today the first time. No waiting, very friendly service and fair prices right in our neighborhood. Will come back again for sure! I highly recommend PERFORMANCE TIRE CENTER! read more

I remember it well, it was the morning I told my husband I wanted a divorce. That morning, I also discovered that my tire was flat. Normally, my husband helped me with those things, but obviously I could not ask him. It felt like an incredibly lonely morning and I knew I needed to take care of this as soon as possible, but I also felt pretty lost about that. Now I took an auto mechanic class in college and learned how to change oil and tires and batteries, but I was not in the mood to try and fix something myself. After reading reviews, I felt like I could trust this place. As a female, I felt like maybe I could be taken advantage of pretty easily at an auto shop. That's why I was totally floored and surprised when the total cost of my tire getting fixed was $15. I even offered to pay more and was refused. At the same time, while in the lobby, I saw the owner let one woman go without paying and she was going to pay back later. I cannot tell you how much this meant to me on such a terrible morning. I felt like maybe I can do things in my life by myself and that I'm gonna be OK. Just knowing that I can go to someone and get my car fixed and that I don't have to worry about trusting them. This place is not just a place of service, it's an act of love. read more

Service requested: tire inspection, rotation and removal of lug nut key & replacement with normal flush lug nut. The staff were able to accommodate my requests quickly and without much delay, even with 1 staff member short. The price of all the services was $120, which I feel is a good value. Same day turnaround. read more

This is my regular spot for smog checks they are very friendly and do not keep you waiting

I highly recommend Performance Tire Center. Great people and super helpful! My son hit a giant rock on the highway and got a flat tire. Car was towed to Performance Tire Center. Hambik took care of our car and plugged our tire. I was thousand miles away from California and coordinated with Hambik over the phone. Thank you so much for your help and generosity! read more

Incredibly helpful and kind! They were slammed and they still took care of my issue quickly.

Hambik is great!! Honest trustworthy, reasonable pricing. Have been a regular customer. Recommend 100%

I've been taking my car to Hambik and his amazing auto technicians at Performance Tire Center for over a dozen years. They've changed the tires, changed the oil, replaced the hybrid battery, replaced the brakes, and so much more on both of my hybrid cars over the years. Hambik really cares about cars and goes above and beyond to be straightforward without any upselling or overcharging for services you really don't need to keep your car lasting as long as possible. He's the most honest mechanic I've ever been to, and I continue to drive out of my way to take my cars to him every time. I've highly recommended him to everyone I know, and I always know my car is in great hands with Performance Tire Center. I would genuinely give them 6 stars if I could. read more

I went there for a big nail in my tire with my family on Halloween day. They did an amazing job, great quality and so fast. But aside from that, they were amazingly nice and kind to us. I couldn't recommend this place more!! read more

Of the auto centers I've gone to over the years (and most were good), Performance is easily my favorite and is now my go-to place for all things auto. Hambik and his crew are great. They worked on our cars on several occasions, for tires, oil changes, and body work after a car accident, and each time our experience has been great. Hambik's advice is trustworthy, the prices are fair, and the work gets completed in a timely manner. The key is to just make sure to call to set up a time to take the car in - they're always busy and may not have the bandwidth if you visit unannounced. read more

Place absolutely, positively rocks. Come because you have a problem with your tires. Stay because they're empathetic, friendly, quick and have great prices. Recommend them with the utmost certainty. read more

Empathetic car service? Amazing. I gave 5 stars two years ago, I would give 6 stars now if I could. Thank you, Hambik

Best tire center in the world. Exceptional price and service Hanbik is of the best auto expert, I know

Honestly incredible team and felt taken care of. Everything was done within 30mins and they didn't over sell me on anything. Highly highly recommend them in a world where many take advantage. Thank you read more

Several of the tire shops in this area have bad ratings--mostly due to lack of trust and experience in the workers. I needed a tire to be repaired and decided to try Performance Tire Center due to their uniformly positive reviews. They were busy but able to fit me in even though I didn't have an appointment. They were very quickly able to get the tire fixed and their price is right in the middle of a few other quotes I got over the phone. My tires were getting pretty worn so I asked Hambik for a quote to replace them. I appreciate he was honest that he couldn't get the exact same model tire for the price I was hoping to pay but didn't try to strong arm me in to getting another kind of tire. I have referred a few friends to them and they said they had good experiences as well. read more

Amazing guys working at this shop. My mother's tire caught debris while driving into the Altadena burn zone to check on her house. Haambik and his crew were very courteous and professional. Tire was fixed in 10 minutes. Highly recommend this business if you need a repair or new tires! read more

Hambik is fantastic. I brought my car in because I had a nail in the tire. Instead of telling me how bad the situation was and asking me to buy tires, which many shops did that before, he said that he could fix it. Asked me to wait a few minutes. Maybe 10 minutes, one of his guys completed job. I didn't get his name, but that guy was professional, answered a bunch of my questions as well. When it was all done, I was ready to pay. Hambik said no charge, it was a small job. It gives me such fresh air that I need to re-evaluate how I view the mechanics world. read more

I got a nail in my Toyota Highlander tire. I drove up, they had my tire off, patched and I was on my way in about 20 minutes. Hambik and his team took care of me quickly and affordably. *****Thanks! read more

Excellent and fast service, good mechanics, good quality, very friendly. I recommend.

I was impressed with the pricing, service, and care of PTC. From the first call with Hambik I felt like a friend. Seriously I saved over $300 on my purchase and it was done flawlessly. I have used another tire company on Foothill (actually 2 of them) and every time, over the last 4 years, there was a problem. With PTC, This was a great experience and I am really happy. I am going to take the Tahoe up there next. read more

My experience here was literally perfect. Called in the morning as I had a nail in my tire. They said to come in right away. I got there 30 minutes later and was in/out in about 20 minutes. The people there were all friendly and knowledgeable. Patched my tire, checked the other tires and balanced all 4 for 20.00. Would definitely use them again! read more

So honest and always looking out for the client. Lexus gave me a list of what needed to be replaced on my car. Hambik looked at my car and the list and told me I didn't need majority of the things that were on there. Saved me a lot of money. Been going to him for years and never felt taken advantaged of. read more

My tire got punctured so I originally brought it to just tires (since they were closer); the sales rep took one look at the tire and said I had damaged the tires internals and that patching it wouldn't work. Ok great. Since they didn't carry Michelin I called Hambik at performance tire to order (I typically go to him for new tires as his pricing is competitor). He took another look at the punctured tire and said it could probably get fixed, even though he had already ordered the tire. Fixed it for cheaper than just tires, appreciate his honesty and transparency! Will no longer go anywhere else for my tire needs read more
