I saw the great reviews here, so brought it in to see what could be done because it seemed obvious that something was just misaligned. Tech came out to inspect my car and was telling me I definitely needed new hinges! I might need a new door! This is going to run a lot of money! That they weren't going to try to investigate a misalignment because they wanted to do things "the right way!" Sure buddy. I thanked him, left and went to the body shop just down the street. Where a tech took a look at the door, determined that the A-pillar on the car door hinge had just gotten bumped out of place, bumped it back into place which fixed the problem, and within 15 seconds sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me because it was such a minor "repair" if you can even call it that. Royal might be good at what they do, I don't know. But they tried to upsell me on a repair that was thousands of dollars for something that wasn't even broken and was a component easily pushed right back into place. So definitely get a second opinion if you go here.

My first time here I brought my 1999 Honda CBR600F4 sport bike to have rehauled. I wanted to do a stage 2 jet kit, all fluids, diagnose the electrical system, install a new gas tank, repaint it, replace a front fork, lower it, make a custom bracket for the tail end, and get the bike to pass VA state inspection. I knew the jet kit was out of my capabilities (you have to rebuilt the carbs) so I had Mike Hogarty of Hotrods 2 Hybrids to do the work. Normally, if I were to take this to a dealer it would have easily costed twice as much. I got a quote for just doing the jet kit and it would have been around $600-700. Through Mike, it was just around $300 INCLUDING the Dynojet Stage 2 kit. My total bill including parts and labor was around $1100, which includes everything I described. Now, I also recently brought my 2004 VW Jetta to have a lot of brake and suspension work. I had to replace a front strut, inner and out tie rods, a front knuckle, replace the rear beam, and align it, along with all the minor stuff such as repacking the bearings since you have to switch alot of parts out. My total bill was $1340, and that would easily be 4 times that much if I took it anywhere else. I highly recommend taking your car or motorcycle to him. He used to be a technician for Ferrari of Washington specializing in Lamborghini's. He is also a car guy and understands where the common consumer stands when it comes to auto repair, and the majority doesn't understand how things work. I used to work at Lindsay VW of Sterling and Sears Auto Center, and I have seen just how crazy certain repairs can be cost wise. I highly recommend Hotrods 2 Hybrids. They will work on anything for a very reasonable cost. Bike guys, he does a lot of work on anything from Honda's to Ducati's. If you have an ATV, or a jetski, shouldn't be an issue. Seriously, this is a goldmine on saving money. Check it out.

When we got there, as busy as RJ was, he took the time to introduce himself, tell me about the services and show me the shop and the incredible cars he and his team were working on. He gave me a quote and ultimately I chose to get tinting done first. We arranged on a day and time for me to drop off my car and so I did, at 9:30am. RJ told me it would be ready by the afternoon, before they closed. I headed to work and went about my day. Not even 3 hours later, I got a text from RJ that my car was done. As I was walking to the shop, my car was already outside and I have to say, best tinting job I've ever had in a car. Just as RJ had described, the XPEL ceramic film is magnitudes above the stuff other places use, which is why it looks as good as it does. He said he would be willing to try and use adhesive to fix it and that it could be done while I waited. Maybe 10 minutes later he returned and I was told he was able to fit it back together without the adhesive so that if I had any other damage in the future it would be easier to repair. He told me that if I had any more problems to return and at that point they would try the adhesive. I left there owing only $20!!! They are honest, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I have never felt so comfortable in any other automotive environment. I am an older woman who knows nothing about cars. Hopefully, I will not need any more repairs in the future, but if I do I definitely will be heading back to Circle.

This left damage to my front bumper, driver's side fender, and driver's side fog light. AK automotive gave me the best estimate compared to another body shop next door. When I entered, the owner greeted me and treated me with kindness and respect. He accompanied his technician and I to see my car and evaluate the damage which I appreciated. The sheet he provided which summarized my estimate was very straightforward, clearly outlining what I would be charged for in parts paint and labor. The other shop gave me a several page long estimate full of convoluted terms and charges. AK Automotive gave me no fine print charges just clear honest business! I dropped my car off the same day and they had it done two days later! They replaced my front bumper and driver's side fender, replaced my fog light, and painted my front bumper, driver's side fender, and door. The paint job is a perfect match! My car looks brand new as they also gave it a nice wash! They charged me exactly what the estimate stated. They also ended up not needing a part for the repair so they deducted the price of that part from my total. I could not be more satisfied with my experience with AK Automotive. The owner seems to take pride in his business and gives fair and honest pricing for services. The technicians are professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions (i had many). I hope to not need car repairs anytime soon, but I will certainly do business with AK automotive in the future if I do need them. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone! Thank you!

Couldn't have been happier. I'd definitely recommend bringing anything body-work related to this shop. They have the best prices and the turn around time was quick. THE BAD: This might not be bad if you have a lot of money and aren't cheap like me but I was quoted for $340 over the phone and then when I brought the car in they said it would cost me $420... I didn't like that they switched the price up on me like that but it was still cheaper than any other place I went to so I accepted the $420. When I went to pick my car up, I went to their Yelp page where I initially saw their great reviews and saw that they had a 20% off coupon if you checked in at their shop. I checked in and received the 20% coupon from Yelp. When I presented it to the owner, he stated because I didn't spend over $2500, he won't give me the 20%. I told him, they should specify that on the coupon so people don't get confused. He continued to state if I had spent more money at his shop then they would honor the 20%.... What? lol. So I was able to convince him to give me a 10% off coupon instead which is still good I guess. Got $40 off instead of $80 so my total was $380 but still... Its the principle of honoring your own coupons. Anyways, they would've received 5 starts if they honored their initial over-the-phone price as well as the coupon. There work is still great though!
