We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

3 1/2 stars.....I recently checked out Aquae Spa at the Resort at Summerlin. Honestly, it's a bit…read moreof a mixed bag, but there's definitely a lot to like! *First off, the layout is really nice and peaceful. The pool area is super relaxing, and I loved that they have a coed sauna. I got an 80-minute aroma oil massage and it was AMAZING. The therapist used the perfect amount of pressure, and the room was so tranquil. Also, huge shoutout to the staff--everyone from the front desk to the poolside team was wonderful and so friendly. *That being said, the amenities definitely fell short compared to other spas around here (like Red Rock, where they give you dried fruit, granola, juice, Pellegrino, etc.). At Aquae, the complimentary snacks were literally just popcorn and water, which felt pretty lackluster for a spa day lol. *A few other things annoyed me: My first locker was broken so I had to switch to a different one. *Two of the showers were totally out of order. And if you're modest like me, there is no private changing area unless you lock yourself in a bathroom stall or take up one of the few working showers. I am not a fan of letting all of my jiggly bits hang out. They were missing some basic conveniences--no disposable razors, and no swimsuit dryer (they just hand you a plastic bag for your wet swimsuit). They did have toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shampoo, shaving cream, and hair dryers, though. Overall, the price point is fair for locals, the grounds are pretty, and the staff and massages are top notch. But with the JW Marriott and Rampart remodeling, Aquae Spa really needs a revamp of its own to catch up on the amenities. I'd go back for the massage, but I'm definitely bringing my own snacks and maybe a Moomoo tent to change under so I don't jiggle my wobbly bits in front of everybody next time!
