The damage was hidden with black vinyl tape intentionally. After contacting previous owners they were also not aware, but was able to track records of repair done previously at Speedy Glass, through a claim filed with State Farm. This was prior to new owner taking over. There is not an option for 10 stars, if there was Charles Vickery, the General Manager, is deserving of 10 stars. He went above and beyond working with the previous owners State Farm agent. Due to ownership change and difficulties finding previous records it was a process. Charles made the decision to make sure I was treated more than fair. Without being able to determine exactly what happened he felt it was the right thing to do to make it right for me. I live in Portland, and they are in Salem. Instead of making me drive to them he set up for their tech to come to my house. He was going to cover the entire cost. Due to everyone working together I was overwhelmed with gratitude I wanted to contribute. We agreed on an amount that was a fraction of the total cost. Their tech, Tanner, showed up at my house Wednesday, August 26th and did an outstanding job. I now have a new windshield and met some extraordinary people. This was someone they could have walked away from and left me to find another company. Charles never gave me the impression this was even an option. He was there to make sure I was taken care of, went above and beyond. It is refreshing to know we still have some amazing people and businesses that really care more about their customers needs and values above their own. 100% Fail Scheduled on a Tuesday for a Monday install. Glass…read moredidn't show up until Monday After I sat there for a hour in my semi they finally unbox only to find windshield badly scratched. All I got was excuses from Charles, blaming their answering service for not sharing my vin and not getting glass ordered until Friday. He says they can get another one in and do mobile Wednesday. I said that'll work. Fast forward to Wednesday i get a text 2.5 hours before install saying his tech called in sick, imagine that. Then tried to say they could install Thursday. What a joke.

Time will tell if the seal holds, but I have no reason to believe it won't. He was efficient, tidy, and cleaned up after himself properly. All good, just indifferent to what follows ... My issue was that their website quoted me a lower price in email than they wanted to charge me on the day. I emailed corporate to clear things up before the day of installation. No reply. Then I engaged their website's Customer Service via chat, for forty-two minutes, to no avail -- they said I needed to take it up with the location scheduled to install my windshield, i.e. 422 River Road N, Keizer, not Corporate who run the website which quoted me. I correctly assumed that wasn't going to be a good idea and insisted they escalate to a supervisor, which they finally agreed to. Nothing came of it. So my last recourse was to take it up with tech Shawn on arrival before he started working on my instal. Naturally enough it wasn't his problem, so he called his office. His office claimed I had misunderstood the quote, that labour had to be added -- even though my quote came with "professional installation" included. On threat of an honestly bad review if they didn't honor the quote, they backed off and adjusted the price to match my quote, a $50 difference. Not a single person from top to bottom of this organization took responsibility for resolving the difference in what I was quoted to what they intended to charge me. I'm still giving this branch four stars because it wasn't really their problem to resolve, but I'm holding back one star because they too didn't step up to take ownership of Safelite's mistake, when nobody further up the line would -- instead fobbing me off with a BS hidden labour charge. It took the threat of an honest, poor review to get an adjustment made.

He could get us in first thing the next day and charged a reasonable price! He was so fast, done in less than an hour. They also put a bigger dent in the hood as well that wasn't there. The new glass is scratched. Took back in for 2nd time to redo hood, now my fenders are messed up, swirl sand marks, and painted over chips, now don't have my fenders factory paint job either. Jo the manager is a dick, the worst customer experience and treats customers horribly when they are the ones who clearly messed up twice. Now having to take my jeep elsewhere to get new glass and my front end repainted. Negative 5star review. Also do not leave anything in your vehicle that you don't want stolen, they will take it from you and say it was left in car rental. Liars and don't know how to fix vehicles what so ever. Brandon and his crew respected my appointment time took care of my tire which had to be replaced and gave me a comfortable place to wait for the service on my Honda CRV. Their customer waiting area offered coffee, tea, snacks, and I believe a television. Who could ask for more? Also, I had five lights on my dash that came on when I ruined my tire hitting a curb. The guys reset the warning lights and replaced my tire with a newer tire. I was out of there in 45 minutes. Typically in my old place of business that I used I was there 3 to 4 hours waiting for similar services. My time is precious just as theirs is. Brandon was polite. The customers service was important to him. Thank you, Brandon and guys in the shop who took care of this customer. As I was ready to leave and pay my bill, Brandon said "No Charge". What? Wait I need to write you a check no ma'am no charge today I was blown away.
