I had a vent window in my older model Jeep smashed in. I called other places with no luck and even ordered a window online (came without the gasket) I spoke to Isabella at State Auto Glass and she said come in. Augi, the owner, explained about the gasket and was able to find a used window for me at a great price. It arrived even quicker than expected. I live in Portland now and a rock hit my windshield and I called and the owner answered and said he could make any time work- their estimate was the best price I could find including the Portland area. Working out of an old gas station located at the corner of 21st and State St, these guys will do you right in auto glass repair. My work truck needed a new window, and after calling the day before, they had a window installed the next day for me. Not only that, but the window arrived with a scratch in it, and after calling me to see if I wanted a new window or would accept the one with the scratch, I was given a $30 credit for taking the scratched window. I like that they called first and not just installed it against my wishes. read more

They replaced the glass in my car but failed to hook up the antenna, hey, shit happens. The problem is they will not fix it or even return my calls. I have left eight messages and not one call back. This has been going on for almost two weeks. I have to dispute the credit card payment, and file a complaint with the BBB because they will not stand behind their work. read more

Do not use this business!!! They are thieves!! I have now had to resort to small claims court. They had no problem taking my money. When I canceled 24 hours later I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee. No problem. A week later when I finally got my refund after going in every day for a week i was given a check... oh wait it was a fraudulent check. I have reported this company to the DOJ, BBB, and I have filed a small claims case, all of which they have ignored. If you use this company be warned, if you have any issue at all you may find yourself in the same boat.!!! read more

Awesome customer service. We droped our car off and found out it was going to take a bit longer then planed. This was a bit of an inconvenience because we didn't have a way to pick the car up at this later time. Speedy glass payed for a cab ride back to pick up the car. I had an issue with my passenger side window. I had called and spoke with Natalie, late afternoon on Monday. She was not only extremely knowledgeable, understanding and sweet she was very upfront about the price and let me know what all to expect. I was able to drop my car off that morning and my car was done in the afternoon. Insurance quoted over $300 for our newer Jeep Grand Cherokee's windshield - Ouch! So glad our friend Ron recommended Augi @State Auto Glass. Thank God we found Augi! (and Natalie :0) Our windshield was only $200 installed. I didn't want to wait the two hours for the install so they even drove me to the downtown mall (and picked me up!!) Professional, friendly, reasonably priced and Above/Beyond excellent customer service. Oh, and did I mention a lifetime warranty on our windshield? Yes!! They had my car from opening in the morning until well into the evening at 6 before they even started on the job to replace my windshield and I had made the appointment a month ahead of time due to me living out of state. In addition, they didn't allow the car to sit before driving to give the seal time to cure. When I called to try get a copy of the warranty, the receptionist Natalie was quite rude and unwilling to resolve the issue, she sounded as though she had just woken up. I chose to take my car to State because of the online reviews, boy was that a mistake! If I had to do it over again, I would have paid the few extra dollars to get better service and quality work. read more

If I could give it zero starts I would. Terrible customer service, they're rude and ignore their customers, they never answer their damn phone and get upset when you go in person. I went to them to get a sunroof fix and they never fixed it but they did decided to cash out a 2-party check that my insurance sent and that I never signed and now they refuse to return the money when I decided to take my vehicle somewhere else. Oh man - Wes at Today's sent me here to have a window fixed on my car. Probably would never have found them otherwise. Glad for the referral. Get this - I dropped off the car about 10:00 AM, they then gave me a ride to my work and by 3:30 they delivered my car to my work so i did not have to pick it up. They also offered to keep it in the shop overnight if needed, etc. and were about as accommodating as you can imagine. These people work things old school, which means old school (good) service. The shop may not be fancy, but they have the right stuff and take care of their customers. read more

I have been using State Auto Glass since I was a kid and they always take good care of us. They typically have what you need in stock and are quick to get it if they do not. I have taken many of my classic cars here and they have always treated them as their own. Old-time shop that does business the right way. Recently I was pressed for time and took a vehicle to a competitor on a recommendation and it was a big mistake, I will be going to State Auto Glass in the future. read more

Had appointment for 9 in the morning get there and they tell me we won't start on your truck until the afternoon so why did I make an appointment at all no phone call to tell me they are way behind and don't come until the afternoon living an hour away this is very frustrating if I would have known this I could have arranged a ride would not recommend this place at all unless you have lots of time to waste read more

If I could rate this place lower than one star, I would. I took my car to them for a windshield. My car was in pristine condition when I left it there. After their call that it was completed, I went back to pick it up. It was sitting outside in a dirt lot in a rainstorm. I checked that the windshield was not leaking and that it looked like it was installed correctly. I signed for it and took it home. Parked it in my garage and didn't move it for 2 days. On the third day, when the sun was out, I noticed 2 dents on my front fenders. These dents were on the tops of the fenders, as if someone had leaned on them heavily and made compression dents. I went back to show the people at SAG and to ask them if they were going to stand by their work and help me get this fixed. They refused. They offered to knock the dents out with a crowbar. I declined. So disappointed that they wouldn't stand behind their work, and offer to help. They wouldn't admit that this damage happened in their shop and put the whole thing back on me. Don't go there if you care about your vehicle. read more

I was in Salem on a limited time schedule and called to see about a rock chip repair. They happened to have a couple time slot options to squeeze me in. Price was reasonable @ $45. Shop is in an old gas station. No official waiting room while I waited but service was fast and I was out in 30-45 minutes. Mom and pop family type business. read more

Went to Salem from McMinnville area. They had best price, ordered glass one day had installed the next. On New Year's Eve day, they are AWESOME small shop who care about the work they do. I even got a drop off/ pick up to mall while I awaited the installation process. Once again Yelp help me find them and they will be my new go to for auto glass. read more

Found them online after not wanting to pay 300$ at a chain store. They got me in quicker than anyone in the Salem-Portland area, and had my windshield replaced quickly. Plus they left my car cleaner than I brought it in! I will be coming back for any glass needs in the future. They were extremely helpful, and the price was great. read more
