We met Mark, the owner, on our original visit when we went in for a rough estimate. Professional, friendly and answered all our questions. Dad took the Volkswagen in for it's appointment to be repaired. Dad, not having an immediate ride home, was offered a ride home by Mark. He took Dad all the way home! Granted this is Silverton, and not exactly a thriving metropolis of houses, cars etc. but it was about 1-2 miles away from the shop. They kept Dad informed all the way through the repair process. There was a delay due to some parts being damaged in transit, but Dad was kept updated on the progess of his car the entire time. When the car was ready for Dad to come and pick up, Mark Holland once again, showed up at Dad's house to give him a ride to the shop to pick up his car! This kind of customer service is refreshing! When I offered to return the broken and incomplete saw on my dime or get a partial refund he blocked me on Facebook after telling me basically tough luck. I sent a postal money order to a person with the same last name Sharon Dallas (sister), but it wasn't covered by buyer protection. I have bought dozens of saws from Facebook, craigslist, kijiji, and several foreign countries using international money orders and this is the first time someone has outright deceived me. He may have good reviews at his shop if they are real, but a man is only as good as what he does when he thinks no one is looking.
